Hey Tim- could you maybe react to the Rise of the teenage mutant ninja turtles movie that just aired on netflix not to long ago-
its ok if you dont wanna... just figured id ask
I like how this movie didn't evade the horror of imperialism and re-writing history for propaganda. Some movies for kids try to water down these situations to make it more palatable but kids need to learn all the signs before it's too late.
I personally love this movie. It's a nice mixture of story elements I'm used to but done in a way that feels unique and I really appreciate that!
This movie was crazy fun and the animation was Breathtaking in some shots
Anyone else notice that some of the characters bare a resemblance to some existing characters from Disney in terms of design? For instance, Jacob looks like a combination of Phoebus, Prince Eric, and Kristoff. Then there’s Cpt. Crow, who looks similar to Silver from Treasure Planet.
It's the director of Bolt, Big Hero 6 and Moana.
So, the Disney resemblance is understandable.
Also I believe one of the main animators from How To Train Your Dragon was apart of the animation team which would explain Red's design
I know right they look to similar
The King also looks like Governor Ratcliffe.
Red=toothless
The message behind this movie may be simple and cliché, but it's very powerful. We should never judge anyone/anything based on what we just see. There's always more than meets the eye.
this movie is so perfectly rated! everything from the animation to the music to the story is just so well done. my favorite things are the diversity in the characters and how well they did with the hair animations; it's so realistic! thanks for reacting to this one Tim, I really enjoyed it! 😃❤
I enjoyed this film more than I thought I was going to! I was just a little disappointed that we didn't get more info on this 'war' they keep talking about. Maybe if they do a sequel they'll explain more about it 🤷🏻♂️
The first movie in 2022 I waited to be released after watching the trailer, the first movie in months I didn't skip a single second. It was just beautiful!
Enjoyed your reaction to this Tim and another great film with a great message and a heartwarming story. Stories like this where a young child befriends a beast always tugs at my heart strings especially if the creature, like Red, looks fearsome and badass on the outside, and yet can possess a tender heart on the inside.
The newest underrated classic.
Does Anyone else notice how identical Red and Toothless's face, teeth and skull shape are.
I was giving zero f**** when it came out, now I'm absolutely in love with this movie. It's amazing!
I love that the Captain Crow song hits different at the end of the movie. Definitely a classic and one of my fav animated movies of all time!
"How to train your dragon" + "Mobi Dick" + "Pirates of the Carribean" = "The sea beast"
A lot of people have been complementing how "Red" the sea beast's facial design looks just like Toothless 🥰❤️
Omigosh, tysm for watching and reacting to this movie, Tim.💙
I watched this movie right when it came out and really, really liked it especially the message that it delivers but was kind of bummed to see that no movie commentary channels were actually watching/reacting to it at that time. It’s honestly such a well done movie when it comes to animation and you get all these action packed scenes as well as these small but equally important emotional moments as well as humour sprinkled throughout the entire movie! ^-^
The story the animation the character motivation. Everything about this movie is simply amazing
Didn't expect to see Urban in voice acting
Firsr of all, the music is amazing! Especially the sea shanty music when Red helped Jacob and Maisie get sone fish! I need these musics for my dinosaur documentary series.
Secondly, THE ANIMATION IS UPGRADING! THE LIGHTING IS ALMODT EXACTLY LIKE IRL
This movie is basically Netflix’s version of How To Train Your Dragon and Pirates of the Caribbean
I'm surprised you haven't seen any animated Netflix originals. There are are few really good ones.
Starting with
Klaus
The Mitchells vs the machines
The Willoughbys
Vivo
The Wish Dragon
I lost my body
(That last one is darker and not very family friendly but still very good.)
Mitchells vs the Machines is by Sony, tho
Klaus is AMAZING
I really enjoyed the Sea Beast a lot, while it's is a simple plot and story...I think just because a movie is simplistic doesn't automatically makes it bad or terrible. Not every movie animated or live-action always needs to be super high-octane epic all the time, if the storytelling /writing is good and well done than I say its done its job well regardless if its simple.
I noticed that since this was created by people who worked in Disney with Moana and Big Hero 6... I noticed 3 details about Jacob: His clothing and adventurous attitude are like Prince Eric from Little Mermaid; His hair color and body build are like Kristoff from Frozen; His hair and smart aleck humor are like Pheobus in Hunchback of Notre Dame
I have LOVED this movie. Not just because I stan Karl Urban and all his works. He played a fantastic character. It was a great and fun adventure and the ANIMATION. SO GOOD.
The animation was freaking amazing and love the movie
“How to Train Your Dragon” meet “The Sea Beast”
I just finished watching it and I will say, it is a stellar swashbuckling story.
Yep, absolutly amazing movie. Glad you enjoyed it!
I just watched this movie a month ago, I love this movie! Have fun with more movies in the future!
I'm used to you posting a lot of reactions to new stuff. Let’s go 🐊
Thanks, Timothée! ⚓
I really Red's design it looks amazing, and this movie is interesting.
The Sea Beast is a very good Netflix animated film in my opinion.
Thank you for sharing with new adventure-I love it.
Oh heck yes! This movie is awesome, best animated one I've seen since Sing 2.
This movie is pretty ok. Not bad could've been more grand if they wanted but it was good for what it is
Ngl the full part of 28:30 really reminds me of that scene from moana and tefiti
i watched this movie a few days ago and still can’t get over it, it was so good tho!
22:49 - 23:14 aaauuuuch what a pain
Directed by Ridley Scott
Is anyone else confused abt the fact that no water goes thru Red’s nostrils?? Oh wait is it cuz she’s holding her breath like humans so no water goes in 🤔
There's a clear membrane that covers her nostrils, we can see it pull back when she surfaces. Kinda reminds me of the "third eyelid" hawks have when diving.
That was a good movie 😙
How did UA-cam know I watched this yesterday? 👀
I’ve been waiting for this
Is this gonna be a new layout for your videos? 👀
Also, I adore how they handled the atmosphere in this movie through lighting and colors. 👌
And I’m glad to see that you were having a great time with this movie!
Please watch the wolfwalkers🥺🙏 This is a very beautiful and cool movie
I like that edit
Also, why doesn't anybody thinking of Moby Dick will watching this? There are more plot points similar to that story than HTTYD.
I loved this movie so much

Speaking about old wars between man and monsters, need you to watch "Prey". You'll.... understand why.

Hello, can you react the three stooges of 2012?

To me it seems that half way through the movie they booted the director and replaced them with the Disney corporation but it's the stale side of Disney.
Imagine having the fear of the ocean and watching this 🥲
Ps. Me 👍🏾
