Watched joe rogan speak on this similarly and have been looking for a more detailed explanation of how to utilise a weighted vest. I went rucking through Vietnam for 2 weeks last year and with 15 kilos on my back each day I lost around 5 kilos in that time whilst retaining most of my muscle. Thank you for this video, it has really helped❤
The 5k vest he has may not seem like much but after walking for a bit, it starts to feel heavy. Don't try to be a hero when you first start. I thought 25lbs was light, just wait until you have to walk with it lol.
Great content as always. Noticed you are essentially starting your prep with mini cut parameters.1% weightless for 5 weeks and just a 1 week reload looks ambitious though as you'll still need the freshness and momentum to continue for several months. Personally I\d need 2 weeks at maintenance after a 1% 5 week start to feel really fresh but then I am 45! Ah the joys of aging...
@@ReviveStronger I don't know who else to ask, but I weigh 298 pounds, and eat 2300 calories a day, I want from 308 to 298 in a month, when I get down to 230, can I wear a weighted vest to get me back up to 298 pounds so I can keep having 2300 calories a day? I'm worried about hitting a plateau
the reason I ask is because as I'm losing weight, my app slowly reduces the amount of calories I can have and I read that the less you weigh and the less calories you consume, the slower your metabolism runs, so can I keep eating 2300 calories a day and keep loosing 2 pounds a week at 200 pounds if I wear a vest to make up for the fat I lost??
Im 34, 511, 174 lbs. Fit, but got a small guy i cant shake. I work in a labor job, looking to buy one and try this. Should i eat different or just put it on and forget im wearing it? Not sure if im going to officially try and "cut" or not at this time. Would it matter either way? Also, would i need to wear it during workouts as well? Or just during normal activity?
Thank you for the video! Would you still recommend this kind of vest or a different one? Any particular brand that is confortable or place to buy? (in Europe) Would you use it in bulking as well until reaching the objetive weight? (in the reverse orden, more weight at the beggining, and less at the end). And... any way to hide them under the clothes in summer?
I have a natural weighted vest.
😆

Hell yeahhh 💪💪 Would love to come on to dip into more recent applications James and I are running 🏃♂️
I am 100% down for this!
Always appreciate the uploads Steve keep em coming ! Have a great week-end :)
Many more to come! Thanks!
Am i corrected then, that if your goal is to loose 10 (lbs) , i would first wear the 5 lb vest, wait until i lost those 5 lbs, and then wear the 10??
You can do it in many ways, I suggest replacing the weight you have lost, so add the 5lbs once you have lost 5lbs.

True
If you're an older rucker, beware of the potential of disc compression. Better ask your chiro before doing this as a form of exercise.
Your maint. is 3500 k/cals? Damn
Yessir! Having a dog helps 😄

Well, the beauty is this was about a year ago and I can confirm my methods were a resounding success :D

Did u buy
How do you reverse out of wearing a weighted vest though?
Just the opposite of how he implemented it. Reduce the weight and reduce the time wearing it throughout the days/weeks
