Fantastic! We bought a custom framing shop a few years ago and it's such a treat to watch you build from scratch! I've done it a handful of times and wish it was more often called for. Such a treat to see the finished product. Love the artwork and love what you did for it! The tag application was brilliant. Cheers from St Andrews, New Brunswick!
Thank You so very much!!! I'm loving this jig and now I'm actively looking for things to frame. In the last week I've made frames for large prints, small sketches & photos, and even a wall mirror. The jig's stop-block is limited to about 900mm, but that didn't stop me from going bigger!!! Thanks for dropping in & I look forward to getting up your neck of the woods one day. N.Brunswick, PEI & Nova Scotia are all calling me!
Yes, I bought this one thinking I'd use it to brand cutting blocks, but I'm yet to make my first board!!! But it's dreadfully slow without the magic of editing. This one is the LaserPecker Pro (yep, that's its actual name), but I think the LaserPecker Pro 2 is out now and it's way faster and has more features.
Thanks for the feedback Bill, and I agree that the oil sets it off. These are the moments us amateur woodworkers (and I'm sure some professionals too) live for. The Wow moments! Hope to see you for the next one.
I was unbelievably happy with how it turned out. I've already made a few more for around the place, but not all from the spotted gum. Such a stunning timber. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for dropping in Harki! And I'm really happy I've still got plenty of spotted gum to play with. A lot of warped boards, but they'll be fine with smaller projects. Cheers!
Wow! That was a fun video! You did a professional job framing, I must say! And that laser burning "thingamajig" was fantastic! Also, I like the way you finally got to the oil for finishing...always more than one way to skin a cat! Great job, Jamie/Jaime(?).
That turned out real nice, I am inspired to make a better picture frame jig and some more frames. Bandcamp lol, and Oh yeah, that lazer engraver caught my eye, any info on that?
Thanks for watching and sorry I missed your comment. This laser is the LaserPecker Pro, but the LP2 & LP33 are already out, and the LP4 is on Kickstarter at the time I'm writing this comment. These models are all way faster than the one I have, with plenty more features, but I think the concept is the same. Portable, small burning area and can be run from a smartphone. The LP4 swaps between a fiber laser & a diode laser depending on what you're engraving on. Personally I'll be getting something a lot larger soon enough to cut thin ply and acrylic.
@@WoodenItBeGrand Fricking lasers are so cool haha. i am subscribed to your channel so so glad you replied, it prompted me to check it out again.... Off to watch your arcade build.
"Glue spreading tool"
My favourite bit!
Amazing job Jamie. An absolute dream to watch.
Thanks Tim! And funnily enough, that glue spreading tool also gets used as chopsticks for snacks! 😂 Glad you stopped by.
I really like the animated way of showing what you cut off the boards at 1:50. Apart from being a woodworker you're master editor!
Thanks Jesper! I learn best by seeing demonstrations like this so will try to add this style more often in future videos.
Cheers!
Hello my friend.
Always great work and ideas. Great frames. pleasure and recycling... Congratulations. See you. Big greetings.... bravo. be happy.
Thank you Mehmet! Always happy to see you following along.
Teşekkür ederim

You have a talent for woodworking and a definite talent for video making. I loved this and now want to make picture frames. Well done, loved it!
Thanks Robyn. And do it! You can never have too many picture frames! :)
Woah, woah, woah - we can have portable laser burners these days? 😮 Never seen such a thing!

@@WoodenItBeGrand hah, I went googling right after your vid and figured it must be the laserpecker, had a good chuckle at that name too 😄
Bloody hell Jamie Scorsese!! 👏👏👏
Thanks Sam! Hope you enjoyed it.
@@WoodenItBeGrand Absolute quality from start to finish Jamie. A stunning new home for a pair of ultra fresh pieces 👌
Wow Jamie, it is good to see there are still craftsmen. You have given me inspiration to try some things.
Thanks Nigel!
Still plenty to learn & I'm always being inspired by everyone else out there. Cheers!
Work of art for the art. 👌🏽
Looks amazing, especially when you got it with the oil.
Awesome job, mate. 👍🏽

Wow!!! That frame is absolutely stunning!!!

Great art work deserves to be seen and beautifully framed. That was a fantastic build and video, love that wood.

Jeebuzz Jamie, coming out swinging. The videographer past definitely shows on the production polish here! ...frame looks good too ;)
Much appreciated James! Not going to lie & say it was easy, but if you enjoy doing what you're doing, hard becomes easy, right? 😜

Hi Juliet!
I did try the screwdriver & vice before the drill, but whatever works.
Thanks for watching! Jamie 😀
(Sarcasm mode on) Yah sanding... my favorite thing to do... (/Sarcasm mode off)
Came out great I really need to make a splining jig.
Isn't sanding why we all got into woodworking in the first place??? :D
Thanks mate!
Great work Jamie. This is amazing!
Thank you Patricia!
Very nice, mate. Looks great.
Thank you so much!
G’day Jamie, mate looks like you’ve been making videos for years & I must say that you’re a really great maker 🇦🇺🍻👍
Thanks Dirk! That means a lot to me coming for yourself.
Keep up the great work inspiring the maker community! Cheers.
Fab job Jamie!!!!!
Thanks Megan! Appreciate it. 😀
Nice work jamie. Greetings from Turkey. I support you.
Thank You Çağrı! Thank you for your support, and I am now supporting your channel as well.
Teşekkürler
Awesome Jamie!
Thanks Maaike!!!
I have canvas' from our world travels that will need frames I think.
Well I now know a guy who might know a guy...
How are you doing? Nice artwork, from Arizona.
Thanks for watching! I hope you are all well.
I like that lazer thing any information about that ?
This one is the LaserPecker Pro, but there's now a version 3 (or perhaps even 4) out now that burns harder & faster, and is far more versatile.
That one looks pretty cool to me . First time I seen that . Thanks for the reply. Good job .

What laser are you using
This one is the LaserPecker Pro. Good for portability and etching, but fairly limited apart from that.
Great job Jamie!! Came out awesome!!!
Thanks Ainslee. I'm really happy with how this one turned out. Now onto the next one!
