Don't you just love the sound of her voice, even when you're too slow to understand the meanings behind the words?
I first found this poem in 2014, after my first major heartbreak. I related so well to every word, every emotion portrayed in her performance... It's 2024 and I find myself ever so often returning here... And every time, it feels like I relive a little of the hurt
she's amazing. raw, emotive and fearless. it's too often that we all fallen into that pattern of letting people use us and take advantage of us, simply because we're afraid to realize our own worth.
Instead of comparing her to other poets, how about we treat her as an individual with her own thoughts, feelings, beliefs and experiences?!
I know, what a strange concept!
When you degrade others in favor of one, yeah it's not cool.
I love this.
i LOVE this. i keep rewatching it
oh my gosh, i'm crying.
this is maybe the truest thing i've ever heard.
Absolutely stunning.
my new favorite poem.
WOW!
wow. that was great
it's art man, just go with it :)
i felt like i was watching sarah kay
Never go after them have some pride.
The title doesn't say that it's about the fifth boy. Just the fifth "one." There's another person in the poem.
They sound just alike in this poem... whattt???
Pride is hand in hand with misery. I'm pretty sure it's considered the deadliest of the 7 sins.
similar to andrea gibson.
It is,but i think sarah is more reserved.
I might be way off here, but is the fifth one supposed to be herself?
her too eh?
Huh o.o I don't really see it, she reminds me of Lauren Zuniga's though
Is it just me or is her delivery style very similar to Sarah Kays'?
Too intense.
I don't think just because delivery style is strikingly similar it means that she is false. Literature spoken or written is always stolen and every story has been told before.
I mean, they're all fairly similar. That's just how it's donnnne haha.
Also.. think she's better than Sarah Kay. ;)
