October 6, 2024 Adult Forum - A Day in the Life of a Capitol Hill Reporter with Catie Edmondson

Catie Edmondson will lead the Adult Forum on October 6 at 9:15am. Catie is a congressional correspondent for The New York Times, with a focus on congressional spending and the rise of the ultraconservative flank of the Republican Party. In this session, she'll discuss a day in the life of a reporter on Capitol Hill, the current challenges and considerations of the job, what it's like to have a front row seat to an increasingly polarized Congress -- and of course, the current election cycle. Catie is from Appleton, Wis. and is proud to be Pam Frey's niece.
