Oh, boy. I sure hope nothing bad happens to those Edain living so up north and close to Angband. It surely be bad if the lineage of their leaders got cursed, or something.
I mean it would be weird if one of them was tied to the top of mountain and cursed by primordial entity , later killing himself out of misery, but nah that's kinda too dark for Tolkien, isn't it? 🙃
Words can’t describe the joy i’m feeling 🤩. The duel between fingolfin and morgoth is epic to say the least and after the duel, morgoth would never again show himself outside his fortress out of fear.
"Morgoth went ever halt of one foot after that day, and the pain of his wounds could not be healed; and in his face was the scar that Thorondor made." And got wounded for eternity.... Fingolfin probably the most badass character in the whole lore, imho :)
Its amazing to see these huge, epic conflicts of the First Age that almost make everything we see in the Second and Third Ages, War of the Last Alliance, and War of the Ring seem like nothing by comparison.
You bring this world to life with such tragedy and charisma. I'm sure Tolkein himself would be humbled by the effort and care your writers put into his work.
I tell people all the time the battles/wars in the 1st age make the war of the ring look like a skirmish. I would pay big money to see this made as a movie. The scope is way to big for live action so it would have to be animated

I really enjoy these 1st Age videos with the breaking down of an incredibly complex story. Really here the elves have reached a kind of stability after the freeing of Maedhros and the crowning of Fingolfin and successfully hemming in Angbad. It has got to be from here that the Noldor elves establish their lasting legacy on Middle-Earth. That and I’m intrigued that some of the Houses of Men align themselves with the elves such as Beor entering the service of Finrod. Wondering what further factions may sprout with men swearing themselves to elves. Next up, Morgoth breaks free!
