Robert "Bob" McCall is a former Gunnery Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps Force Reconnaissance and Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) Paramilitary Operations Officer of the Defense Clandestine Service who faked his death to start a new life and put his past behind him.
He was dragged back into doing the things he'd been trying to put behind him when he met a teenage girl named Alina, who was being trafficked by the Russian Mafia. He protects those most in need from those who wish to bring destruction to those close to him. He is the protagonist of the 2014 film, The Equalizer, The Equalizer 2 and its sequel, The Equalizer 3.
