I feel like the sheer amount of money to be gained would be way too strong a temptation for the thuggish fodder types to resist, and even the big players themselves, reputation be damned. Wouldn't make for good cinema, I guess.
While I really love the John Wick saga, I admit it's a plot point. Let's just put that on the account of his legend, even excommunicado people are a vit scared of killing him

Scott Adkins is a great stuntmen and martial artist and he did make few good movies in the "b-class" action movies market, but here he is amazing. He steals the scene from Keanu Reeves and Donnie Yen completely.
