- Koose or Akara is a bean fritter from the northern part of Ghana and can also be found in Nigeria. We mostly have it for breakfast with kooko (millet porridge). It can be eaten as a snack or as a side to a meal as it contains a lot of protein. You can make it VEGAN by not adding the egg.This recipe is long overdue, it has only four ingredients. Please I want to know what happens if the beans is not peeled of its skin before preparation
The texture will be different, it will not be as fluffy as the peeled one, and slight difference in the taste.
