Those sinks are nice. Rustic appeal. Nice set up for out in the woods. Inspirational.

This kitchen/sink/shower area keeps on evolving. Hopefully we will have time to make some more improvements soon, but as it is, we do like it.

I need to do something like this near my pool. I remember first moving to the country and taking hose showers before school. Hose showers are no fun. Great video. I thought it was really funny how the only part a man played in this project was removing a tarp. Lol😊

Outdoor showers are the best. We've considered building one for use in the summer. Go you building it on your own. Good luck to you and the channel. We would love to have an outdoor sink like that too. Enjoy that shower!

Thanks so much! we really love our outdoor sink/shower/kitchen area in the late Spring, Summer, and Fall. We pretty much spend all our time outside during the Summer here.

Great system, Allegra Rose Brown. That's a lot of work just setting up a barebones shower and sink system. I was impressed you picked up that old castiron, enameled sink, like Superwoman.
I looked at the Water Heater on Amazon; Apparently, it needs a certain amount of Water Pressure to operate. The well up the hill, must have a pressurized storage tank, along with an electric well pump.

+John Smith You are correct about the water pressure. I will make sure to talk more about that in the final video about this.

Allegra Rose Brown .. Apparently, the company sells an auxillary waterpump for systems that work with a gravity fed watertank. The waterpump would boost the psi to the prpper pressure.
(I'm sure Allegra Rose Brown already knows all of this; this comment is for the Internet people, considering such a system. It's a handy hotwater system, and a ~good project on UA-cam.)

Have you considered building a small tower? Putting an white barrel and black barrel up on top. Then getting an hose splitter to blend the hot and cooler water. Then let gravity do its work.

Hey there, what is the shower attachment you have on the system. And I can't seem to find anything on splitting the outlet line, to both have a shower and a separate sink hose coming from the heater. So I put that out there in case anyone has any suggestions they can throw my way. I too have an outdoor shower that I designed, off grid. I use a 250 gal tank, and I have a natural drain with rock, that runs into some old display tent poles that bend around a corner quite nicely and drain into a ditch that we dug out as sort of a wash or stream outlet. thus far we are growing little plants here and there successfully. Of course, we have a lot of campers that use our showers, and so the water flows every day, and for the desert, this system has worked well with the composting toilets as the restroom aspect. So our last components are sinks. Hand sinks and dish sinks. ecotemp does not have smaller hot water heater, for a sink, and the portable ones, are stand alone units and not exactly yet what we are looking for so we put that out there in case others have suggestions. it seems a bit much for another propane tank and another water hose in the tank, which isn't so bad, but its two heaters, and two tanks. so just scouting for better options rather than to buy more, when I can do with what I got. my system is battery solar and wind, a 12v system that I used to use, before I upgraded to 24v with a water pump flojet, eccotemp, and the propane tank and a 250 water tank. I need to add rain water catchment. however filtration is still the issue between algae and rainwater catchment debris. ours is mostly sand and red dirt dunes, but anyways kudos - wonder girl power from another outdoor off grid wonder girl.

Do you have a pump to push the water to the heater ? Thanks.

    • @allegrarosebrown238

Yes, the water heater is connected to a few hundred feet of hoses that are connected to a well with pump
