For the second one, DO NOT EVER DO THAT! First and foremost, NEVER, EVER put gasoline in a plastic bottle. That is extremely dangerous. And if you don't know how to start a small camp fire, the last damn thing you need to do is mix soap and gasoline into a paste to start it.
You don't need to mix salt, water and citric acid to make flux for soldering, you can just use ordinary white vinegar (acetic acid). I learned that as an apprentice over 50 years ago

I need to permanently bond a front bumper and lower lip on car. I think both pieces are PP plastic 3 tabs broken but want to seal across whole thing i have plastic welder but what should stick to PP
@@creationholic101 sure, dry paper (or leaves etc) and thin pieces of wood, then gradually more and more thick pieces... i imagine it is like it has been since we lived in caves, and we even have lighters or matches nowadays, now how hard can it be... the trick is dont skimp on preparation
The water/salt/detergent trick looks really useful. I'm going to be replacing the battery in my electric toothbrush soon, The strips (two wires enclosed in plastic) used to seal bags of coffee beans make a great cable ties.
