exactly,,Ayala is not that great, full of fast food garbage and the supermarkets in the mall are 10x better than Ayala. I lived near ayala for 7 years,,,nothing special,,,Most of the time the escalators are broken,,,haha
On the Grand Hyatt hotel next to Terminal 21 mall, the night view is very beautiful. You can bring your own drinks. Above, the food is very delicious. Most foreigners live at Jomtien Beach, Wong Amat Beach, and Pratumnak Hill.
After many visits too Pattaya i went too see whats behind the hill.. luxury condos nice and relaxing spot..i could live there too and just two min away from the action

How would you like it if someone in your country came up to you and just started talking to you in a foreign language. Basically demanding you have to speak their langauge in your country!! Thai people are too nice to say anything, but they do notice when you try. Just a couple thoughts from someone who lived there for decades (not me, someone way cooler than me who knows their stuff!)
You can take a minibus for 10 baht to explore the city. It will run in circles. In the future, there will be U-Tapao Airport and a high-speed train running from Don Mueang Airport, Suvarnabhumi Airport to U-Tapao Airport. and will build a 3-line monorail system to connect with the high-speed electric train and run throughout the city. And in the future Pattaya may have a casino like Las Vegas.
To me Pattaya is about freedom. The sex trade stuff is only one expression of that freedom. You say beautiful beaches, but the water is not the purest. The multi floor shopping mall you show would be remarkable even in the USA. If prices were this low in the USA everyone would be ecstatic!
yes,,,i would not go i the sea in pattaya,,,The only really clear water is by boat, visiting the nice islands off of the mainland,,,I always use the pools, then go to the beach to hang out
I moved from California and live on Pratumnak Hill, think I go into central Pattaya once per month. Much prefer life away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist centers
You have to leave every 90 days. For me that wouldn’t be an issue, I haven’t been in one country for more than 90 days in years. Could be an issue later in life.
@@BuffertheTourist Ya, the monthly rate for a condo would be higher than an annual lease, but what the hell. You have maintained flexibility and avoided the Process, Drama & Expense of a visa-hunt. And if you find towers you like in two or three difference countries, you just migrate between them. Kind of a SE Asia version of the Schengen Shuffle...
I mean, it's a matter of preference. I want to settle down somewhere to hike nature, where those malls and neonlights are far away. but who knows, nature gets boring too.
