What I love about each video is this attention to details in each outfit. Excellent content again, Thanks. I'm also curious to see which perfume you would match to each outfit, and why?
You don't know how much I wait for your uploads. Thank you for making my day. Now the outfits... Outfit #1: A classic way to wear a suit without a tie. You absolutely CAN'T GO WRONG with this type of look. Simple, elegant and timeless. On a side note: I like how you chose to wear a pair of tassel loafers with this outfit, lending in the more casual vibe. Outfit #2: My favourite look. I love the idea of wearing a turtleneck with a suit, always provides that sophisticated, elegant and yet casual vibe. Love the pocket square too; it's different and not in a gaudy way, but a very stylish and aesthetic way. Love the double monk straps too, the perfect shoe for this type of look. Outfit #3: A nice summer look, very simple and yet stylishly elevated. I adore the watch! Outfit #4: This look is distinct, it's expected and unique at the same time. I like the bold shirt with the suit, a great way to stand out from the crowd. I love the pocket square as well, but the one thing that I dislike about this look are the shoes. You could do better on the shoes (for your sky high style standards). Outfit #5: This is my second favourite look. Never knew you could dress down the double-breasted suit so easily, and yet keep it so simple. It takes actual guts to bend those style rules and wear a pair of white sneakers with a double-breasted suit, but you do it beautifully.
Great looks, all of them. My favorites are the first and turtle neck one. Can’t help but think of Miami Vice with the T-shirt look. You almost wanna role up the sleeves. 😁 Cheers 🥂
This is a good complementary video to Simon Cromptons recent vid on wearing knitwear under suits. In this he emphasised the notion that the "the one you'd expect" outfit needs to be mixed up from time to time to not look lazy. Well done, Brian! Greetings from Germany
Well done bravo ! This is the best video I have seen on UA-cam to date about how to tastefully, sartorially and creatively wear a suit without a tie. There is another famous UA-cam channel that should be taking pointers from you on how to perform this task successfully. My 2 favorites outfits are look 2 brown suit with turtle neck and look 3 light grey fresco spring/summer. I ordered the fresco light grey which is very light weight and wrinkle resistant.
Great looks Brian! I think look #1 is actually the hardest to pull off (at least for me), I think everything has to be on point in order for it to not look like "oops I didn't have time for a tie today." #4 and #5 are my favourites this time around! - Han
Great video, thank you. As always, all the looks are great but the turtleneck look is my favorite. It has the perfect vibe, simple, yet elegant. The video is also timely as spring is around the corner and garden parties, etc. are not far behind and I need to start digging out my linen outfits. Thank you again. Cheers.
Just discovered your channel and immediately subscribed! I wear a suit and tie everyday and am always afraid to mix it up. I'll try some of these looks and hope to look as handsome as you.
These are all wonderful looks and are perfect for different reasons. I am fascinated by the wool fresco and have already messaged my tailor in Hong Kong to see if he has it. I'm curious to know if you would wear a different color of sneakers than the white ones in the sporty look?
Awesome video as always Bryan . The 3rd one really suit me well . Because I live in a warmer climate country. Also the 1st one . Love how you use the pocket square , it really balance all the styles that you’ve choose. Thank you Bryan. Keep up with your wonderful work ..
Wow! Aboslutely every outfit on this list looked great. I personally enjoyed the second and the fourth the most. You are hands down the most stylish man on UA-cam! Cheers from Germany
This is perfect. I work in a Swiss bank and we write tradition BIG. Last week there was a new dress code released allowing turtlenecks etc. I love wearing a tie but i love the options this gives us so this vid comes at a perfect time for me thanks!
Really love your style. Super sophisticated. Would love a reverso myself. Thinking about picking one up in the future. Does yours has the small seconds hand?
NOTE: I like ALL the looks. Except...(yep) the Suit with Seekers. It just seems sneakers with suits, is like mixing Oil and Water. Sneakers are just too casual. And I've never seen that combination work? Good Show! Do more. Cheers.
New sub here who is loving your channel. As a 40 y/o man I am appreciating all these tips and style advice. Looking forward to your content. Thank you.
I do like the turtle neck sweater and suit look. I prefer this style with a three piece suit. I always wear a tie with a suit but I have no problem sans tie with a blazer or sports coat. A good touch is how you recommend certain watches to enhance the overall look of the outfit. Unmissable channel for the well dressed.
Sir, keep putting up the great content! I just started following your page and every video is great and they are well informed! Because of you I will be adding some great clothing to my wardrobe. Thank you.
Thanks for that. We've been growing very quickly, which is great to see. Look back at the last several videos and the views and engagement are really high. That feels really great and we're just going to keep doing what we're doing.
Great quality as usual Brian! Wearing a suit without a tie and making it look right is not an easy task, but you nailed it, and in a nonchalant way (sprezzatura, as we would say in italy)! I particularly appreciate the understated boldness of the final look! Finally, congratulations on reaching 100k subs, you deserve it more than anyone else! Up to the next!
I love look #3 with the gingham shirt. Are the glasses prescription? (my real question is: can I get away with wearing glasses solely as an accessory? )
Very good as usual. in the "white sneakers" outfit though, I would prefer a white t-shirt, or white polo or a white OCBD. The shine on the white button up contrasts heavilly with the sneakers. Thanking you once again for these inspirational videos! P.s. I really like the brown gingham shirt outfit.
Thanks for the feedback, Nikos! Personally, I feel the white shirt and sneakers complement each other. The gingham shirt will be available soon in the HSS Shop!
Brian, I just invested in my first pair of Allen Edmonds shoes (I bought the Park Avenue oxford cap-toe for $425.) I've heard great things about their quality....do you have an opinion on AE? Do you have any in your own wardrobe? thanks
I have LOTS of AE in my wardrobe. I'm interested to know how you find the quality of the leather. It seems to me that over the past seven years that I've worn AE, that they've maybe started using a different--lower quality--leather. My Strands from seven years ago are different than my Fifth Avenues, which are newer.
MTobin1000 you should look at other brands as well. For 425 , you can probably some great shoes by TLB Mallorca (380), Carlos Santos (280), Meermin (195, hand-welted 300), Cobbler Union (394), Herrings (upper 200 range), Vass and Enzo Bonafe ( upper 400s sales only as regular is 500 range). Once you see these other brands, you realize AE is not worth 425 unless you get it in 200 range when on sale.
Can you share the size of your pant cuffs in the first 2 outfits? I've read 1 and 5/8 inches is a good standard for around my height which is 5ft 7" but yours look a bit larger, although that may just be my impression from the video.
Your JLC reverso in pink gold, Omega Speedmaster and your VC traditionnelle in pink gold make me so jealous ;-; I'm an 18-year-old guy and you clearly represent the way I would dress (except jeans, I don't know why but I don't like jeans on me) if I had the money (studying computer science right now, don't have the time for a side job :/) Thanks for your videos!
Nice video. You’ve got some really good ideas. My only comment, and it’s simply one man’s opinion; is that I don’t like the look of white sneakers with a suit, especially a double breasted suit. Anyway, just a thought. Thanks for taking the time to put together the video and for sharing your style ideas.
He Spoke Style I know that it definitely is the style these days. I’m watching a show with Ryan Seacrest and he is wearing white gym shoes with a suit. I don’t like leaving negative type feedback, especially when I do enjoy the video and I happen to enjoy all of your videos. I was really impressed with your recent review of men’s cologne which gave me some ideas on what to consider purchasing. Anyway, I hope you didn’t find my comment as being too critical, just thought I’d share my non professional thoughts/opinion. Keep up the great work. I love your Channel!...Ed
Great looks 1 through 4. The last look with sneakers don’t agree. Sneakers with a sports jacket and jeans or casual pants yes. Double breasted suit only with oxfords or formal slip on or high end loafers. Imagine that an old guy by way of Brooklyn New York / Jersey in his sixties giving a top notch guy such as yourself fashion advise , oh well go figure. Keep up the good work your presentations are exceptional. Best to you.
Great ideas though I don’t like sneakers with a suit. I love the one with the turtle neck but the one with the check shirt is awesome. Also I would prefer little more contrast with the pocket squares i.e. lighter and with less pattern or plain and in a different colour
He Spoke Style Tbh I was amazed how you pulled off the sneakers and a formal double breasted suit. And you didn‘t button it up, still makes you look super comfortable and easy going with class. I know I cant pull this off like you. But someday I will ;)
Use metal collar stays. Good shirts allow you to replace the plastic collar stays with other ones, i.e. metal ones. This should be enough to make your collars look strong and stury. Furthermore, you can also iron your collar by using ironing starch spray when ironing the collar.
I wear graphic tees with my suits. My Poppy shirt looks great in a charcoal shirt. Uniqlo just released a new shirt with a pattern that looks Japanese, flower or birds pattern, super hot under a navy suit.
I love you turtleneck and brown gingham shirt looks, they always look so great. the white sneakers look works I just don't like it for me but I have to say that it works well for you. However, the t-shirt look is really odd, I feel like the fit of the jacket looks off, it makes you look like your jacket is too big, I think t-shirt are too thin to be worn under and suit and in general I think that tailored jacket require a collar (turtleneck or shirt) don't you think ? great looks otherwise as always
I like your videos and you seem like a rather pleasant person that does know what they're talking about, but with the fifth one I get what you were meant with the not having a pocket square and I understand the justification, but I think that it would have looked quite nice, especially as it would mean that you would have three elements of white, which is something which I've noticed that having a few white accents, as long as your shirt is white, tends to look good in certain circumstances. To be clear I'm not meaning any sort of 'Just keep adding things' idea, like you said about in the mistake that everyone makes at some point video, I just think that one thing would have finished the look nicely. With the last one also I'd wear white converse boots, I just like converse though(only pair of trainers I own that aren't for exercising in). They're all still good outfits though.
Loving the look #5 and I look forward to you doing more casual takes on the double breasted suit since I'm planning to get one as a workhorse (4x1 or 2x1 buttoning though)
I personally wouldn't wear a suit with a collared shirt and two buttons undone. No tie with collar button unbuttoned is visually preferential. But hey, that's just my 2 cents worth. Love the videos, keep posting.
What I love about each video is this attention to details in each outfit. Excellent content again, Thanks. I'm also curious to see which perfume you would match to each outfit, and why?
1. Dior Eau Sauvage: bit.ly/37F8cMR
2. Roja Danger: bit.ly/2HShHhz
3. Tom Ford Neroli Portofino: bit.ly/32gg5Yi
4. Amouage Dia for Man: bit.ly/2T3qYbo
5. Guerlain Habit Rouge: bit.ly/38M9ZkF
@@hespokestyle Thanks for your time and answering my question. Highly appreciate it.
@@hespokestyle I don't hate the white sneaker look. I just wonder how it would look with different sneakers. The laces were too floppy.
The best dressed man on UA-cam strikes again! 😀
Haha! Look out!

The first look you really captured that Tom Ford look!
Super simple!
This is the very best. I love them all. Especially, the last one without a pocket square. Elegant. Just as good writing.
Many thanks for the comment and support!
Honestly think of all the menswear 'influencers' out there right now, Brian might be my style icon. Much respect.
You're very kind, David. I really appreciate that.
Great looks, all of them.
My favorites are the first and turtle neck one.
Can’t help but think of Miami Vice with the T-shirt look. You almost wanna role up the sleeves. 😁

Exactly. Something to make it a little different. Gingham pattern can fit the bill. Thanks for the comment, as always!
Could not agree more with your outfit ideas. My preferred look, the turtle neck shirt one, that is one of my favorite suit ideas. Great video Brian!
Yeah, turtlenecks with suits just look really good for some reason. Very elegant and sophisticated, IMO.
Very nicely done. Didn't realize how quickly the 7 min went by. Thank you Brian for sharing the ideas.
Ah, you're very kind. Thanks so much for chiming in!
I gotta tell you,you nailed it, everything you displayed was on point
Many thanks, Jerry! Appreciate the comment and support.

All of them looked great. My favorite is the Miami Vice T shirt look!!!
Awesome! A great summer look.
Mr Brian . Can I use suits with Polo Shirts , like Lacoste for example ? Thank you for all yours advices .

I love the pattern on the Solaro suit! Sometimes the suit speaks for itself and that is what it does.
Totally. It is extremely unique.
All looks are awesome; number four with the gingham patter its just superb. Sorry for my english and greetings from Argentina.
No need to apologize! You're English is great. Thanks for the comment and support.
i'm new to wearing formal suits and this looks amazing and explained a lot

These are all wonderful looks and are perfect for different reasons. I am fascinated by the wool fresco and have already messaged my tailor in Hong Kong to see if he has it. I'm curious to know if you would wear a different color of sneakers than the white ones in the sporty look?
The fresco is by Holland and Sherry. For me, all-white sneakers are the best option 9 times out of 10.
Another great video (flawless) from "He Spoke Style" Brian please allow me to say you're the best! Keep it up!
You are allowed. And Wilco!
Awesome video as always Bryan . The 3rd one really suit me well . Because I live in a warmer climate country. Also the 1st one . Love how you use the pocket square , it really balance all the styles that you’ve choose. Thank you Bryan. Keep up with your wonderful work ..

Hey, Rob! So glad to have you!
dumb question do you take the blazer off when you eat or do you leave it on?
Tysm my cousins wedding is near and I was nervous on wearing a suit with a sweater and this boosted my confidence
Just realized you hit 100k subscribers, congratulations for reaching such a big milestone!
Thanks so much!!!
Excellent video! A question - what colour shirt or roll-neck would pair well with a brown/grey houndstooth suit?
Light brown suit = dark brown sweater. Dark brown suit = light brown/cream sweater.
Brian, great looks.
Many thanks, as always.
Great watch selections
I do like the turtle neck sweater and suit look. I prefer this style with a three piece suit. I always wear a tie with a suit but I have no problem sans tie with a blazer or sports coat. A good touch is how you recommend certain watches to enhance the overall look of the outfit. Unmissable channel for the well dressed.
Interesting. I've never thought to do it with a three-piece.
Stellar watch collection....Rolex and a VC!!
Many thanks! Have you seen the collection video?
Great video, great ideas. Thank you!

All outstanding looks! #4 was my fav. Adding (my own version) to my suitcase for my next business meeting. Keep up the great work!!
Awesome! Thanks, as always, Troy.
liking the 3rd look, did it with a black collared shirt..many tie-less business meetings now kosher
Sweet! Thanks for the comment, Douglas.

Thanks so much, Marco. That means a lot. Much more coming up!
I love look #3 with the gingham shirt. Are the glasses prescription? (my real question is: can I get away with wearing glasses solely as an accessory? )
They are prescription. You can wear just as an accessory. I have two pair that are not real lenses.

Nope, you're not wrong. I wear a two-inch cuff.
Other than a wedding or funeral, "the other one you'd expect" is about as dressed up as I get. Well done with all these looks.
Thanks so much, Zuker. Appreciate the comment and support.

Thanks alot for ur videos😘
What fabric is the best for tropical country?
You might want to try a linen, fresco, cotton, or tropical wool with an open weave.
Daniel Duggan thank u for the reply
@@MrChocolateHazelnut No problem. Take care.
Hi. Does anyone know if he is cuffing his pants or is it cut that way?
can you make a video about mixing jeans with sportcoat
Coming up next week! Already shot and in the can.

@@hespokestyle That is understandable, thank you for your brilliant audience interactions.
Loving the look #5 and I look forward to you doing more casual takes on the double breasted suit since I'm planning to get one as a workhorse (4x1 or 2x1 buttoning though)
Please upload a video on how to build a decent wardrobe from scratch!
Essential wardrobe is definitely coming....

A suit with a shirt but no tie is great in my opinion. More casual but still very elegant.
Can certainly be if done correctly!
I personally wouldn't wear a suit with a collared shirt and two buttons undone. No tie with collar button unbuttoned is visually preferential. But hey, that's just my 2 cents worth. Love the videos, keep posting.
Appreciate the polite criticism. There's no "right" or "wrong" here.
