i read that there was a ton of footage cut from tyra going off on tiffany. allegedly she went way below the belt and was extremely insulting but none of it was ever aired.
Wtf? Louise got bullied and y'all say she couldn't take criticism? The show has constantly abused their contestants to the point a lot of them had needed therapy and have suffered from anxiety. I love the show, but it ain't professional at all, smh
She had a terrible attitude, of course as she was the winner, they edited her as a "good, poor" girl, but you could still see that she was a mean girl. Didn't like Alexandria, but like in any other cycle she was edited as the mean one; but now that I'm old I realized that she was just mature and very secure about herself so I guess the other girls didn't like someone so confident. Even with the bad editing she never showed such an entitled b*tch attitude like Brittani did.
It wasn't in the video, but the way the judges berated Yaya for her acne really rubbed me the wrong way. She's a model--they wear tons of full faces of extravagant makeup (which does not mesh well for acne prone skin). For them to berate her like that and tell her to drink water was just insensitive. She can't control her skin, especially when products are constantly sabotaging it. Might as well slab oil on someones face and shame them for breaking out.
Especially since drinking water has been proven to not really affect acne and acne can be hereditary. Anyone who shames someone for acne when they have especially tried almost everything under the sun is shameless
I think “roasting” is throwing the truth in their face because it’s something they NEED to hear. This ain’t roasting this is harassment, bullying, and racism.
I feel sorry for Robyn... even if she shook her chest at Mr Jay, there is a difference between having a sense of humour with gay colleagues when changing anyway and putting your body on display in print.
Honestly, good for Louise for sticking up for herself and voicing her opinion. I understand she may of seemed a little rude but given the circumstances, I don't blame her at all. Kelly was actually so rude to Louise and the way she was treated her was just horrible, it was honestly so uncalled for of Kelly to say those things to her and then having Tyra jump in saying even more horrible things to her. Louise seems like such a strong person who doesn't buy into that high school drama and I 100% respect her for it! It was probably unprofessional the way she acted but who could blame her? she had every right to speak up for herself and I'm so proud of her for doing so 😁😁 Kelly was horrible to be honest!
I've been watching a lot of Jessica Kobeissi reactions to America's Next Top model and some of the judges were so mean on this show 😭😭 I never actually watched the show personally, I did watch a bit of the Australian version but yeah Jessica Kobeissi reactions are amazing and she is a really talented photographer and graphic designer! Been binge watching them 😄😄 Love your content and it's really well put together! Will definitely send a subscribe 😁😁 The judges are honestly so brutal it's insane what they could get away with back then 😱😱
Ever notice how the judges discuss how cruel the industry is, and yet make no strides to make it kinder or less stressful? Or even how society acts like this?
When Kelly came on the show, she was bubbly and self confident. Of course this didn't sit well with the judges, and Tyra probably wanted to break her, especially since she was a beautiful dark skinned black woman.
I feel after Kelle put her opinion that there were better photos of her no one was willing to say anything after that I do feel she had better photos, so great for her for pointing the finger. She actually even explains that in the interview with Oliver TwiXt
Gina belongs on this list but they chose the wrong reason. "I want to let folks know that Asians can be good looking. Oh and I know no one asked me but I don't date Asian guys." She got called out by EVERYONE.
I think just because people didn't like Robin, they couldn't sympathize with her. I didn't like her either, But, no matter how you slice it, shaking your chest at someone who you know, in what was thought to be a private moment, as a fun gesture, is vastly different than posing nude for the entire world... Like, come on. They tried to say she was contradicting herself because she didn't do the photoshoot, when in actuality, it confirmed her beliefs to what should be private and what should be public.
I really like this interesting and salient viewpoint, but I'll respectfully disagree as by Robin's lofty standards she should've NEVER even thought of doing something like that, it's contradictory and unprofessional AF...I could understand if she and Jay had that cool chill dynamic to where she doing that wouldn't have even batted an eye, but it's because of character referencing and her offputting, standing-on-a-soapbox self-righteousness they ate her alive, as they should
Also, you're saying at the end it confirmed what should be private and what should be public, I'm really confused, is Jay her husband? Because your comment is suggesting she did it 'privately' but she went nude in front of her photoshoot manager 🤔
@@domotemujin7780 She did that privately. Clearly, the cameras weren’t rolling and Tyra literally says that Robin didn’t and didn’t know anyone else was there. Perhaps the hypocrisy might lie in who Robin is nude for, although she was still only topless, but it does not lie in her choice whether to do the photoshoot.
I dunno, still hypocritical and I say this as a Christian person myself. There was also another girl who was Christian and didn't want to do the shoot, right? Yet she didn't have double morals
I think it is a bit rich that a woman who never really wore her real hair, ever, can criticise others for not wanting a certain hair style. Tyra, we are talking about you honey.
Louise and Kelly both have strong personalities and it wasn't a good mix 😅 I mean, it was good for reality TV, at least Brittani was unprofessional and childish... Alex is no saint, but people constantly forget that Brittani was no saint either!
You hit the nail on the head with Alex and Brittani. Alex handled herself way better than I would have. I know she got the villain edit, but I don't think she's one at all. I actually like her.
Tyra Banks is insufferable. And what Janice did to bully Gina into ratting out another girl (because this show is ALWAYS insistant that the girls respect the judges) was abusive.
Janis seriously seems drunk in that scene with Gina, wtf kind of a lesson is that. Baiting her with a question and then attacking her for answering. So obviously mentally/emotionally abusive. Gina was so shy in the season too. Maybe Janis told her to “never rat out our bitches” because Janis HERSELF would be ratted out.
WE ALL LONG KNEW that Tyra's flip out was the top pick!!!! It's obviously NEVER, EVER gonna die!!! Anyone besides me still remember the meme afterwards??!!
The judges constantly told brown eyed girls their eyes were dead and blank (like with the retouched/unretouched photo, which was gorgeous either way) and then when brown eyed girls had to overexaggerate intensity in their face to compensate for that the judges told them they looked crazy (like with the girl they said looked possessed). There was no winning.
Rebecca Weinbergs' comments towards Yaya was VERY insensitive and I'm shocked that I remember that moment even if it was years ago. Honestly it wouldn't fly at all today and would get called out quickly.
When Janis was criticizing that one girl about her face, I would have turned around and said, "at least my face is real and still moves." She was an ultra B, could not stand her.
Probably because Tyra lured them in with her fake “I’m a role model for girls everywhere” persona then quickly realized how fake it all is. Notice how most of the contestants are young naive 20 somethings who aren’t all that sharp. Tyra was really good at faking the “I’m your best friend I’m here to help.” Mantra she always used.
I believe Tyra had some kind of internalized anti blackness and if you go back to watch the series you can see bits and pieces of this and also take note of how much harsher she was to the black girls like Yaya and Tiffany for example. But overall they treated all the girls like dirt and all of these women deserve an apology, they made Celia look like a snake whilst they were the ones who encouraged her to snitch and then made her look like a fool in front of the cameras when she did, she explained this whole thing years later and Louise was made to look like she's difficult while they were antagonizing her bts. I'm not saying that there were never any bad contestants on the show because there were, but most of these girls were young and naïve and because of that this show exploited them.
Tyra contradicted herself in cycle 16 when she told Brittani to keep it to herself when she feels like someone is getting something they don't deserve especially in front of a client. Tyra didn't follow her own advice when she made a point to say, in front of the client, she didn't feel Brittani deserved to stay in the competition even though the judges out voted Tyra and chose to keep her. You can't really call that a roast when you realize the hypocrisy

@@angelasmith3967 we were all rooting for her
@@rowetenorio l must say, l was heart broken when she starting giving up after all her grandmother had done for her. Even more sad when she didn't get on the season before.
IKR 😂
😂😂😂 thank you for this comment because it automatically clicked !
I dislike how ANTM is still so outdated with beliefs! Like if u agree, comment if u don't, or both.
Is it still on?
@@lonellfletcher sadly yes I think
@@violetrosequast340 where? I haven’t heard anything in years
The situation with Louise ran much deeper. Watch Annaliese Daye's recaps and you get more context on what really went on for the UK girls on that cycle.
Yaya was 100% correct and ALL of them owe her an apology.
and now Yaya is the most successful contestant from this show
Leila Goldkuhl >>>>>>>
"Girl, you walk like you're on crack."
Not gonna lie, that words had me rolling.
Lmao Ms. mojo: we're on Yaya's side with this one.
Ok white savior
i read that there was a ton of footage cut from tyra going off on tiffany. allegedly she went way below the belt and was extremely insulting but none of it was ever aired.
Wtf? Louise got bullied and y'all say she couldn't take criticism? The show has constantly abused their contestants to the point a lot of them had needed therapy and have suffered from anxiety. I love the show, but it ain't professional at all, smh
Well said!
Am I the only one that actually felt really bad for Louise ?! 🤷♀️
No! Kelly was wrong!
I still can't believe Brittany won Cycle 16, she was so unprofessionnal.
Some people definitely didn't deserve to win over others.
I think Brittany doesn’t model anymore either. I think shortly after she won cycle 16 she decided to go back to school and she stopped modeling
@@abigailryan6180 imagine that. When there are other people who could've won and could have potentially gone further smh
Ugh! Me too!! I wanted her SENT HOME.
I'm just really disappointed that Trya didn't say anything about #2 and took the white lady's side like wow okay then
It wasn't in the video, but the way the judges berated Yaya for her acne really rubbed me the wrong way.
Absolutely!
Well don't feel too bad. She was awful and bullied other contests for being gay or for not believing in her religion.
Miss J Alexander and Twiggy are still the best judges on ANTM
#1 family guy had her turn into a lizard lol
Me: How many vids can you do out of the "we were rooting for you" moment?
Mojo:
Janice feels that she is entitled because she claims to be the worlds first supermodel but we all know Gia Carangi is the real first supermodel
And Gia was naturally beautiful no fillers or unnecessary plastic surgery. Gia was beautiful not a manufactured beauty.
No she wasn’t. Tyra thinks she was. Twiggy was the worlds first super model.
Tyra calling out Jackie was not okay. Outing people is never okay!
who's jackie?
I've been watching a lot of Jessica Kobeissi reactions to America's Next Top model and some of the judges were so mean on this show 😭😭 I never actually watched the show personally, I did watch a bit of the Australian version but yeah Jessica Kobeissi reactions are amazing and she is a really talented photographer and graphic designer! Been binge watching them 😄😄
Love your content and it's really well put together! Will definitely send a subscribe 😁😁
The judges are honestly so brutal it's insane what they could get away with back then 😱😱
This isn't roasting this is all bullying.
Every single girl in this list was young and naive the producers set them all up
Ever notice how the judges discuss how cruel the industry is, and yet make no strides to make it kinder or less stressful? Or even how society acts like this?
Janice got on my nerves so badly! She was nothing but a bully and I hate bullies!
I have always felt so sorry for Kelly. She couldn't even look in a mirror without bursting into tears. That was not right .
When Kelly came on the show, she was bubbly and self confident. Of course this didn't sit well with the judges, and Tyra probably wanted to break her, especially since she was a beautiful dark skinned black woman.
Every time I watch clips about ANTM judges I can't even believe how PHYCHOTIC all of them were. I REALLY hope those girls made it out ok
I feel after Kelle put her opinion that there were better photos of her no one was willing to say anything after that I do feel she had better photos, so great for her for pointing the finger. She actually even explains that in the interview with Oliver TwiXt
Team Yaya then, now, and forever. ♥️👸🏾(wish my Queen emoji had an Afro option. 🤣)
Gina belongs on this list but they chose the wrong reason. "I want to let folks know that Asians can be good looking. Oh and I know no one asked me but I don't date Asian guys." She got called out by EVERYONE.
this competition is toxic
I think just because people didn't like Robin, they couldn't sympathize with her. I didn't like her either, But, no matter how you slice it, shaking your chest at someone who you know, in what was thought to be a private moment, as a fun gesture, is vastly different than posing nude for the entire world... Like, come on. They tried to say she was contradicting herself because she didn't do the photoshoot, when in actuality, it confirmed her beliefs to what should be private and what should be public.
I really like this interesting and salient viewpoint, but I'll respectfully disagree as by Robin's lofty standards she should've NEVER even thought of doing something like that, it's contradictory and unprofessional AF...I could understand if she and Jay had that cool chill dynamic to where she doing that wouldn't have even batted an eye, but it's because of character referencing and her offputting, standing-on-a-soapbox self-righteousness they ate her alive, as they should
Exactly!
Janice was just wrong to EVERYONE and I think she would show a lot of insecurities when it came to the young models.
Y’all finna hit 4 mill subscribers
The comments about Yaya a BLACK WOMAN acting too Black coming from a White woman is what got me. And the fact that Tyra agreed got me pissed
I think it is a bit rich that a woman who never really wore her real hair, ever, can criticise others for not wanting a certain hair style. Tyra, we are talking about you honey.
Kelly’s retouched photos seem like a dig.
Kelley was beautiful. Tbh, her natural photo wasn’t bad at all. The production with the scary music and replay was just cheap and mean spirited.
she didn’t even look ugly she was so pretty
My fave judge is Miss Paulina Poriskova because she is beautiful.
I also like Miss J. Witty and insightful
Louise and Kelly both have strong personalities and it wasn't a good mix 😅 I mean, it was good for reality TV, at least
Brittani was unprofessional and childish... Alex is no saint, but people constantly forget that Brittani was no saint either!
You hit the nail on the head with Alex and Brittani. Alex handled herself way better than I would have. I know she got the villain edit, but I don't think she's one at all. I actually like her.
@@vanityplates3125 I kinda like her too and she handled that WAAAAAAY better than I would! 😬
Tyra Banks is insufferable. And what Janice did to bully Gina into ratting out another girl (because this show is ALWAYS insistant that the girls respect the judges) was abusive.
This whole show was one big roast. The judges did those girl dirty so many times.
Lets get real JANICE was the worst judge ever. She didnt judge people, she ridicule them.
Janice is so freaking mean.
Best judge by far was Andre Leon Talley.
He was straight forward but classy about it
I've followed Jessica for years. She became a doctor. Good for her!
WE ALL LONG KNEW that Tyra's flip out was the top pick!!!! It's obviously NEVER, EVER gonna die!!! Anyone besides me still remember the meme afterwards??!!
This show is awful for the fashion industry and no one ever became a model from this show
YOU ARE LYING Lelia Fo &
Other top model contestants became
Models DO YOUR FUCKING RESEARCH. Time 7:41AM Sun 1/31/21
Round & Round, Up and Down always got me!
When Janis was criticizing that one girl about her face, I would have turned around and said, "at least my face is real and still moves." She was an ultra B, could not stand her.
i am a christian but robin is the kind of person who makes people hate christians
very very great crazy list I like it a lot great job mis mojo one of my very favorite list ever number one is one of my favorite
The moment tyra raised her voice, I would've said a loud reassuring 👋bye-bye 👋
Tiffany should have walked away when tyra went berserk, so she could eat her show.
Actually Louise is within her right to act that way because these judges are there just to break those girls down
I don't know why people come for this show calling it toxic like HELLO the whole modeling industry is TOXIC what did you expect.
Some of these "judges" were entitled themselves.
