Elf: Finally...a proper handmaiden weapon Dwarf: Hammer go boom Fire lady: Staff go boom Sigmar fanboy: Why fire once when I can fire three times? Kruber: P O K E
Na, delivering a cut with a spear is a pretty viable way of dealing damage. They are sharp blades on sticks - so you can get plenty of leverage to deliver deep cuts. Sometimes a thrust is not your best option - for example when you want to get your enemies weapon or shield out of the way. If they are intent on not letting you skewer them with thrusts, they will push your thrust outward again and again - so using aforementioned leverage, you might give them a good whack from the left and either force them to move their shield that way (following up with a poke through their shoes / legs since they so helpfully just obscured their field of view) or just bash their weaponarm until some injury sticks.
Cutting with a spear is not a viable way of dealing damage. Nobody will ever tell you that, so I'm not sure why you are trying to mansplain that very bad advice here. Just because they wildly swing a spear around in movies, doesn't mean that Hollywood applies to real life applications. You don't cut with a spear, you thrust. Regardless, this is a game, and this adds variety because it's a game.
Yeah, plus she is quite low on ammo generally and works like close melee frontliner, so this bow will be perfect whith shooting one bar into a horde, then charge in and kill, let it recharge- rinse and repeat. Plus it will be good against elites and specials as well with the sniper ability..
Feels like I play the Handmaiden very diffently than you. The cloak ability Allows me to be both in front and killing specials, I actually use the boost of ammo because of this. I am definitly a weaker frontline but I'm so versatile and able to clutch a one-man team that I don't play without that if I am not in a 4 experiented man premade team
@@xyrish2 I mean yeah, I am a heavy frontline crit build. So I don't use the ammo buff anyway which will make this bow a true gift for my build. @@henrikandreason7261 I'm not low on ammo on handmaiden, or very rarely. I do see plenty of other handmaidens that are low on ammo but that's because they spend it all on shooting ambient sv and maulers. This bow does seem like a handmaiden weapon more than a waystalker or shade one.
I always had trouble figuring out a good secondary to go with a great hammer as IB Barron, as I always needed something that was just exceptional at removing quality targets, that wasn’t the rifle. The torpedo is the Valaya-sent answer to my prayers.
You don't need to use the griffonfoot sparingly whatsoever actually. Just put conservative shooter on it, and aim somewhere at head height. If even just 1 pellet from it hits anything in the head, you will get the ammo back you used. This thing sustains itself better than any ranged weapon I'd say
It is somehow boring, but it looks quite playable while others looks questionable. If the sienna flames do not stagger, is it actually better for something than conflagration? salts with shotgun, idk... elfs bow might have osme perks - meny questions for niche picks while spear will be there anytime and everytime
Ironically enough, Kruber's might be the most boring but it's also the most useful. Bardin's new rocket launcher is actually pretty cool, but... -The elf's new bow sucks, she already had near-infinite ammo with her talents. All the new bow does is screw over her ability to burst down bosses. -the shotgun pistols look cool, but are objectively worse than the original pistols -Sienna's staff doesn't stagger so it's useless at higher levels. Also she already had amazing AoE and the new staff brings nothing new to her kit. Meanwhile Kruber's boring looking Spear and Shield are flipping amazing. Better AoE damage than any other shield option AND reliable armor pen AND amazing range AND you can hold the block and use the spear without dropping your parry. It's amazingly effective, arguably it's the best melee weapon in the entire game.

I don't know if this is still around but with waystalker, there is a skill where you get 30% of your max ammo back every time you kill a special with your special ability, which also gives basically infinite ammo
the moonfire bow go really well with the spear and shield, you shove enemies down then do 4 quick charged shots to apply damage and clear out an area, also its a great boss killer too
Omg can't wait to run Bounty Hunter with those gryphon foot pistols lol. Sienna's new staff's charged attack is the coolest thing ever period. Kruber's spear and shield is a bit less exciting thematically but it looks like it adds some really strong new options and playstyle to Kruber gameplaywise.
U know if you mix up the the heavy and light attacks u can get constant swings of a specific type, for example the bretonnian longsword, if u specifically at any moment want only the wide crowd control type of swing you get to the 2nd swing in the rotation, and directly after the 2nd swing happens you follow up with a heavy attack and instead of it being then 3rd swing in the heavy rotation it will stick at the 2nd swing of the heavy rotation. So you get one light wide swing, followed up with a wide heavy swing, that swings from the opposite side of the screen, after that you then follow up with another light swing, and it will again stick at the 2nd of the light swing rotation, being a wide swing. U can just sit there and do that as long as you start it at the 2nd swing in rotation, just alternating light to heavy Another example is the halberd, I never liked the halberd until realizing this was possible, the halberd normal rotation for light swinging is, one wide swing, one forward stab, and then an over the head chopping swing from top down. But if you use the method described above you can either get constant wide swings by alternating light and heavy swings starting with the light wide swing, just follow that up with a heavy and it will auto do the heavy wide swing, then just rinse and repeat. Alternatively for use on boss or heavy armor, you can actually do a perpetual 3 rotation of single target swings, but this is little bit more complicated than the other examples I just went over. This one will be two forward stabs, followed by the over the head top down swing, and then rinsed and repeated to do again, if I remember correctly it's a heavy forward stab, then light swing which will be the light forward stab, then light swing again which will be quick over the head chop, and then the heavy swing for the heavy forward stable again, then light+light so on and so forth. There's all sorts of combos, all weapons have a certain number of swings allocated to each swing type (light/heavy) and the combos you can do all just depends on which number swing in the rotation you start at. Some weapons have combos like light/heavy/light or light/light/heavy, or heavy/heavy/light. Its something really cool to play around with and can make you a much more efficient rat slayer Hopefully I was able to explain this properly and it made sense.
Kerillian getting a Mass Effect 1 gun when everyone else is using a 2/3 one >.>. Jokes aside I like the look of that, not needing to worry about ammo is nice.
Those griffonfoot pistols really do not do it for me, though honestly I don't know what I would have wanted for Saltspyre. Maybe a long rifle with some sort of rudimentary wire sight on it? Idk, thats just a spitball, but im not sold on the pistols. Everything else looks great though
I'll probably use the Moonfire Bow when I get around to getting my Legend Completions with the Handmaiden. Since that class has low base Ammo, I can utilize the Unlimited Ammo and still be a good Defensive Melee Fighter.
Thoughts: 1. Spear and shield seems useful for Grail Knight to carry as your choice of shield weapon combined with Great Hammer or Exe Sword. Could also be useful for Huntsman for self-defence, but I would never take it on Merc or Foot knight. (The first because not enough cleave, the second because not enough stagger). 2. Trollhammer Torpedo: FUCK. YES. I suggested this weapon on the forums and got laughed at, WHO'S LAUGHING NOW WAZZOKS?! Seems very useful, especially if you already have snipers on the team and need more anti-patrol and anti-monster. I hope you can take this on the Engi, that would be sweeeet. Also, ammo refund on headshot trait? :D 3. Griffin Foot: Meh. Seems like the worst weapon of them all, can't really see a reason to take it. SP has some of the best anti-horde melee options (Rapier, Axe and Falchion), I don't see why you would bother with these. Mmmmaybe on Bounty hunter if you already have plenty of snipers on the team. 4. Sienna's new staff: Good choice for Unchained as she can drop the fire zone and then just get swinging, I wouldn't take it on the other 2 tho, especially over conflig staff, because you miss out on anti-special (and Sienna is damn good at that because she always 'has ammo'). 5. Elf Lazor Bow: Definitely not for Waywatcher as she has ammo gimicks that she won't make use of with this, but for Handmaiden and Shade I can see it being useful. Handmaiden in particular only wants to shoot SOMETIMES and this is a good choice for that.
Well, now we can do no-ammo line ups, thanks to that new bow. Kruber as GK, Bardin with fire weapons or throwing axes, Kerilian with this bow and Sienna.
I haven't used all the weapons, but Griphonfoot pistols I think are the most broken(infinite ammo engineer torpedoes is OP but will get patched). Even though its shotty like weapon its pretty good at medium range, get a few pellets on a head it kill most specials. What makes it super strong is the speed you can shoot, roughly shoots 16 pellets and about 4 of them equals BoP single shot. Hitting with all shots is at least 4 times the damage. So missing with half barely matters. It also seems to pierce through 3 or 4 bodies, I can clear a hallway filled with a horde in seconds. It struggles a bit with armor but volume so high it will blast them. Insane boss dps as well, try it with bounty hunter it's insane atm....prolly gettin nerfed
know that they're giving heroes more ways to deal with hordes besides mostly melee weapons so hordes can be dealt with even faster, they can add in stronger units mini boss units like the armored choas warriors, aka blood letters etc.....
Shield and spear for Kruber is exactly the same like the Shield Maiden. Don't really see a need for it with Kruber but ok... The rest are interesting additions. I do wonder how the Moonfire Bow compares to the Hagbane bow when it comes to damage. Sure, you can potentially shoot more arrows with the hagbane, but you tend to use the arrows fairly sparingly anyway so I wonder if this will make it obsolete.
how exactly do you get these weapons? do you buy the dlc and just get them insantly? or do you UNLOCK the ABILITY to randomly get them? also what exactly even is the chaos wastes? sorry i'm new to the game and thought id ask here cuz why not
Why am I hearing Korg from Thor: Ragnarok when he narrates....? XD "After saving the galaxy, Korg decided to settle down in Thor's house, with FPS games and UA-cam, he made a name for himself, like never before!"
I can't see myself using Kerillian's new bow over the Longbow as Waystalker (longbow is still my favorite) because ammo is never a problem for Waystalker the way I build her. But with Handmaiden who is CONSTANTLY low on ammo? Hell yes, give me that thing. Which is fitting that it works better for Handmaiden because its look says "High Elf" way more than it says "Wood Elf." It always kind of irked me that a High Elf Handmaiden would walk around with bows that obviously look Wood Elf made so this solves that. Shade already has its crossbow after all. Trollhammer Torpedo is a must have. Gimme. But actually, aside from the fact it's badass and looks AMAZINGLY fun, its ammo and range make it super limited in what it can do. Which is actually fine for Ironbreaker who should up front tanking anyway and only whipping out his ranged weapon for situational things anyway (Drakegun for Hordes, Handgun for Specials) so simply swapping that condition to be: Patrols, Monsters, emergencies vs Hordes actually works out for that class specifically. A shame Bardin's new weapon is only for ONE class but he just got an update that gave him a new Hammer that power creeps everything else he had and a boss killing Pistol that works way better in the hands of Ranger Veteran than it does for Engineer. All in all as a Bardin mostly main, I'm happy with all of it. Duckfoot ( i mean excuse me, Griffon foot) pistols, say they are versatile, don't look that way to me. I'm not a fan of the shotguns in this game, and thus don't plan to use this for Victor. Sienna's new staff (I'm just going to call it Flamestorm since it looks WAY more like Flamestorm than the Flamethrower staff does) Looks amazing and I really want to love it, but I know that I won't be able to use it effectively on Legend because it doesn't have a sniper option for specials. So same problem the other Shotguns have or her Flamethrower staff does. It'll be situationally useful that I can only really abuse if i have a good sniper class (Bounty Hunter, Waystalker, Huntsman, Ranger Veteran or Engineer) in my party. It looks super fun though. Spear and Shield for Krubs looks like it can FINALLY be a worthwhile Shield weapon that you can use for Foot Knight. I'm also curious. Can Grail Knight use it? That extra power on the stab could be really handy for Grail Knight who can never have enough options for melee weapons. My thoughts on these. Depending on price point on opening day in the US I might pick this up day 1.
I feel like I'm one of the few excited for the spear and shield for Krubs. Tuskgor spear is my go-to for Merc thanks to the range and stupidly wide sweep on both heavy 1 and the push attack. Combine that with a shield and for me, that's just bullying a horde. I've heard that hitting your special attack button while blocking also stabs, can somebody give it a try? the griffon-foot seems fitting for the chaos wastes where there things seem a lot more tightly packed, so I can see why went for them over something more range focused. Will be great if you pair it with somebody running any kind of shield weapon. Have them bash a horde into a tightly packed group and unload a few shots to quickly wipe them out. Moonfire seems like a great choice for Handmaidens that run with Hagbane for CC. The limited ammo of the hagbane (at least for me) limits my level 25 talent to quiver of plenty, meaning I miss out on a bit more HP or stacking on even more BCR, looking forward to it quite a bit. I've wanted a new staff for Sienna for some time, but I knew options were quite limited. Again, seems very fitting for the tight areas of the chaos wastes. BW with famished flames and unusually calm will you to just create a full area of denial to hordes. Again, the shotgun style attack also fitting the tight areas of chaos wastes. We all know about the trollhammer torpedo and how cool it is, not much I need to say.
did they patch the staff down already ? There is no "Firepit of Doom" its just a single flame with almost no use unless you set it ind small doorways or other points where only one enemie can pass after the next. its useless if you beginn to have a little more space. but its a nice magic shotgun
Spear and shield looks neat, but will be hard to use effectively (just like on handmaiden). Trollhammer torpedo is gonna be real strong on the engineer, he will be amazing holding hords on his own and taking down specials mixed in with the horde. The pistols will be great on the BH, with the crit trait he will have infinite ammo, also with the push he will be less susceptible to get flooded and with the reload on melee kills he will be really strong. Also the dmg looks pretty good per bullet so he might be real strong against bosses and monsters (with the blessed shots). The bow was made for the Handmaiden, he is going to be a crowd control beast and will not take up ammo from the ranged special killers. Shade can use it too, altough it depends how good it is against ranged specials. THe staff is meh.... its a mix of 2 other staff, honestly dont think the Sienna needs it.

Wasn't Kruber's Spear and Shield supposed to have the option to attack while blocking? Maybe the special attack button that almost never gets used? Need to see how good Slatzpyre's and Sienna's new weapons are against berserkers/monks, since shotguns tend to deal with those pretty well. Also as an Elf main the new bow looks like it's somewhere in between a longbow an hagbane for sniping AND it gives her the option to take another lvl 30 talent instead of the ammo regen one.
Me - wait, how zalts pistols work? They have 1 shot, so he have very fast hands or a lot of pistols? I need ans... Fatshark - now Viktor pistols have 3 barrels! Me - ....okey, magic, I got it
@@flibbernodgets7018 are you joking? Hagbane was the best bow for at least Waystalker and arguably on par with Longbow on Shade/Handmaiden (though I'd take Longbow on both of these). It has CC / horde clear, enough special/elite killing power and great boss dps. This bow on the other hand will likely be of less use for Waystalker and more a Shade/Handmaiden weapon due to ammo efficiency
Question guys how do you get the spear for kruber and the flail for sienna do to buy a dlc or can someone take me to the maps and If I complete the quest I get them?

Probably not at all. And even if it did, it wouldn't be worthwhile since that saves you what ... 2 seconds of recharge? Bigger question is whether or not WS passive doubles the energy reserve, which would make it at least viable on her
Yeah I've been wondering that as well. Otherwise I can't see much use for the bow on WS since that career almost never runs out of ammo to begin with. Would be kinda of neat to melee a bit more and take another talent instead of ammo restore. Will test it tonight

Horrible hagbane? You ever tried using hagbane w the following. Monster and infantry damage and barrage. Use it on waystalker. Use bloodshot (2 shots for price of one after melee kill. Then using the ammo back in killing elites and specials w your ult. You dodge in kill a enemy. Dodge out and fire a charged shot that will hit stun and poison a good 15 square feet ish of enemies. Rinse repeat. Its excellent crowd control. I use w dual daggers for fast in and out kills. And when you spec the hagbane for infantry and monster dmg. You also melt bosses w the hagbane. Barrage helps w the extra damage. Can also use hunter if you prefer. Hagbane is very niche. But on a properly specd bloodshot build.... You can hold off hordes on your own easy. And just spec daggers for crit chance and crit dmg along w swift slaying.... And you tear through hordes. And w waystalkers assassin talent. Your headshots and crits will do even more damage. And when running low on ammo; simply use your ultimate seeking arrow attack on a group of elites or a special to get your ammo back. It takes some practice getting the rhythm of dodging into hordes to kill a few, then dodging back to hit w a charged hagbane double shot. Bloodshot also... On a fully charged hagbane shot... The 2 arrows add even more stagger. Its great for breaking def of a group of storm vermin etc. You just kill fodder. Shoot the charged hagbane in middle of storm vermin cluster. Then rush in w dual daggers to kill a few. Then dodge back out to stun the remaining elites w another charged bloodshot. My point is.... youll be amazed at the crowd control you get. And your ability to melt a bosses health w it too. Give it a shot. Its a really fun setup to play. If you have questions let me know. I too once hated hagbane. But when they updated the classes skill trees and gave waystalker bloodshot and ammo back on elite and special unit kills... I saw an opportunity to niche and exploit the hagbane. Its finally quite good. But only on waystalker bloodshot build.
@@ThePeacemaker848 lmao. If youre shitty at it. Jump and shoot over your team. And watch flank. As with this setup you can hold flanks by yourself easily. If youre not trash w elf. @@ThePeacemaker848 And based on your response I can tell your jaded and rightly so. But given youve never experimented w this build. Youre speaking from an ignorant standpoint. But I don't blame you for being salty about elf team damage. Most elf players are just kill seekers that dont care if their team is in the way or not. I rarely see an elf player use hagbane properly. Ie. No bloodshot and they arent jumping to shoot over team if team is getting overwhelmed. Nor are they watching flanks. Whether it be the sides or the rear depending on the situation. Its part of the reason why I wish they would get rid of the kill counts etc. Its a team game. And every class has a role to play. But the kill counter just makes some... But albeit quite a few... Kill chase. Elves are usually biggest culprits. But slayer mains and zealot mains can be bad about that too.
Kerri's bow looks amazing, I play a lot of elf and get stuck in melee a LOT with her either with Sword + Dagger or the Glaive so having a big AoE shot is nice, and I'm not a fan of hagbane as its all dot and no upfront
Try the spear on Kerrigan. It has a great sweep attack that clears and knocks back enemies if you get swarmed. Also, the range the speak poke has is amazing. Especially at higher difficulties where you really don't want to get hit, being able to stab at a long range and keep enemies away from you is clutch.

Firebow on handmaiden seems useful, as you don't really use the Longbow all that often
I get a bow thats both a hagbane of sorts and a longbow in one with no concern for ammo so it will fit perfectly. Use spear and Shield myself. So I do understand that in your build where you use the ammo buff the moonfire bow gets a bit redundant.
@@henrikandreason7261 I'm actually very hype for the moonbow because it will make me have more build, but I'm afraid the moonbow doesnt give much damages over specials and armored. I kind of very appreciate the one-shot one-dead long bow build and if i want to kill special with melee, I just play Shade TBH
It's nice to see Vermintide content every now and then.
I always had trouble figuring out a good secondary to go with a great hammer as IB Barron, as I always needed something that was just exceptional at removing quality targets, that wasn’t the rifle. The torpedo is the Valaya-sent answer to my prayers.
Bardin, Sienna and Kerillian definitely steal the show here, those are some crazy weapons right there
"push and stab... push and stab... push and fckn' stab. *feels nice* "
got a chuckle out of me, that:D
You don't need to use the griffonfoot sparingly whatsoever actually. Just put conservative shooter on it, and aim somewhere at head height. If even just 1 pellet from it hits anything in the head, you will get the ammo back you used. This thing sustains itself better than any ranged weapon I'd say
You get a like for listing the elf as last and definitely least
Absolutely everyone received unique weapons.
Meanwhile, Kruber with his shield and spear.
Well, seriously, it's very disappointing for Kruber 😅
It is somehow boring, but it looks quite playable while others looks questionable. If the sienna flames do not stagger, is it actually better for something than conflagration? salts with shotgun, idk... elfs bow might have osme perks - meny questions for niche picks while spear will be there anytime and everytime
Flail + shield would be cool!
-the shotgun pistols look cool, but are objectively worse than the original pistols
-Sienna's staff doesn't stagger so it's useless at higher levels.
@@trapical except that now you dont have to worry about ammo with shade and hm, bot can be melee focused, not care about ammo and/or have an extra aoe weapon.
@@trapical I found that it was actually decent against bosses, the dot is brutal. What's your ranged option to burst down bosses usually? It might not be the best bow but it very clearly doesn't suck, I admit it's much better on HM and shade than on WS.
Energy bow is perfect for handmaiden since she is always low on ammo and close to melee fighting anyway. Spear and shield with this bow :P
Still holding out for a whip or skorge for Saltzpyre, so I can go Belmont on some rats. Though the pistols are nice and an eccentric addition to the arsenal, that will easily serve my zealous fervour. Thanks for the video.
I don't know if this is still around but with waystalker, there is a skill where you get 30% of your max ammo back every time you kill a special with your special ability, which also gives basically infinite ammo
the moonfire bow go really well with the spear and shield, you shove enemies down then do 4 quick charged shots to apply damage and clear out an area, also its a great boss killer too
feel like kruber got the short end of the spear, compared to the others, his weapon just looks like the rest of his arsenal
It's almost as though his weapons look like Empire weapons from tabletop.
Omg can't wait to run Bounty Hunter with those gryphon foot pistols lol. Sienna's new staff's charged attack is the coolest thing ever period. Kruber's spear and shield is a bit less exciting thematically but it looks like it adds some really strong new options and playstyle to Kruber gameplaywise.
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand sienna staff is nerfed ç_ç
The moonfire bow is gonna be superb on the handmaiden!
Does handmaiden's 50% ammunition bonus do anything with the new bow?
You get shafted
You mean waywatcher? Probably no.
Now all we need is some new enemies to fight in the waste imagine fighting caos themed enemies for each god we already have nurgle
THIS IS SPARTA!!
...I mean VERMINTIDE!!!
And then they took the duckfoot pistol from real life...and changed it into a triple barrel mini shotgun.
I image it's for leading ranged attack for every new encounter. It could be used for switching mid-combat like the bounty hunter.
I was a die hard sword and shield fan on Kruber but then I decided to use the executioners sword and I’ve never looked back.
FINALLY fatshark remembered that Sienna is a wizard =__= ….a staff for the wizard instead of a sword or a flail
Battlemages tend to wear heavy armor with a weapon thougb
@@plaguemarine7767 But their main and strongest weapon no matter what ... Is their magic
The melee weapon's suited for the Unchained.
U can just sit there and do that as long as you start it at the 2nd swing in rotation, just alternating light to heavy
Another example is the halberd, I never liked the halberd until realizing this was possible, the halberd normal rotation for light swinging is, one wide swing, one forward stab, and then an over the head chopping swing from top down.
Its something really cool to play around with and can make you a much more efficient rat slayer
Hopefully I was able to explain this properly and it made sense.
Personally I'd prefer if they fired a pistol ball out of the middle barrel and pellets out of the side barrels
The bow looks like a nice addition to the assasin class. I rarely used the bows on her.
Which careers can you use the new Spear and shield on?
I'll probably use the Moonfire Bow when I get around to getting my Legend Completions with the Handmaiden. Since that class has low base Ammo, I can utilize the Unlimited Ammo and still be a good Defensive Melee Fighter.
How did you get the staff spell area of effect so big? Please respond back, thanks!
Thoughts:
Needs more dakka
Honestly was hoping for a axe for Kruber and so my wait will continue xD
He technically does with the Halberd.
how exactly do you get these weapons? do you buy the dlc and just get them insantly? or do you UNLOCK the ABILITY to randomly get them? also what exactly even is the chaos wastes? sorry i'm new to the game and thought id ask here cuz why not
Why am I hearing Korg from Thor: Ragnarok when he narrates....? XD
"After saving the galaxy, Korg decided to settle down in Thor's house, with FPS games and UA-cam, he made a name for himself, like never before!"
Bow can be fine on guardian or shadow Elf, bleeding will be better. Unless quiver skills will give more energy to the bow
I want sword and shield for Kerillian. In the other hand Sienna's staff looks lit.
Depending on price point on opening day in the US I might pick this up day 1.
you realise its free?
@@Horusa1 No, it's not. The Chaos Wastes is free, the weapons are paid DLC.
@@ktvindicare the bow silly. Horrible choice since the other bows are stronger. It's good for maiden
Does Kerillian's moonfire bow recharges when you use her ult with the good talents?
5:55 how do you create this large of an area? I only get really tiny ones
i think they nerf it for some reasons or its a bug, cuz i only get a tiny one too.

Because i have Vermintide 2, and this is still so Epic.
Not at the Moonfire bow part of the video yet.... I WANT it to be good, but it's probably outclassed by the Hagsbane, especially with the ammunition recovery of Kurnous' Reward on Waystalker.
EDIT: "And last, but definitely least" DAMNIT!
Can you explain how to acquire them?... i bought them but i cant just immediately craft them.
I bought the dlc but the items aren't red and have like 5 power. How to fix this?
He probably just upgraded it himself
can you aim the gryphin foot the same way you can do with the bop or do they have the push instead?
i believe it's just a push, like how markus kruber's blunderbuss is, but don't worry pal we will see soon enough.

Yeah, I had heard the Hagbane bow was the least desirable, now it seems even moreso.
@@flibbernodgets7018 are you joking? Hagbane was the best bow for at least Waystalker and arguably on par with Longbow on Shade/Handmaiden (though I'd take Longbow on both of these). It has CC / horde clear, enough special/elite killing power and great boss dps.
This bow on the other hand will likely be of less use for Waystalker and more a Shade/Handmaiden weapon due to ammo efficiency
you didnt mention the "special" block attack with spear and shield
Can Foot Knight use spear and shield, I guess not but there is always hope....
Somewhere on the official Fatshark Site they stated it's for everyone but GK. I also have seen FK use it in Gameplays of chocoB or Core not sure.

It looks very interesting. In any case, I will definitely must buy it.
But I’m unlikely to be able to use this weapon effectively in my private solo games. For me or my bots.
Except, perhaps, for the spear and shield. Do you think this is good for the Mercenary?
yeah i would think so. it's a nice defensive, yet versatile, weapon that can help you alot and your allies at times.
let alone the alt fire the spear has where it can attack while parrying, according to the youtube comments that is, so there's that as well.
I'm wondering how the moonfire bow interacts with waystalker's ammo regeneration talent. Does it replenish the bar?
Probably not at all. And even if it did, it wouldn't be worthwhile since that saves you what ... 2 seconds of recharge? Bigger question is whether or not WS passive doubles the energy reserve, which would make it at least viable on her
As much as I like saltzpyre's new guns, I can't seem myself using them more than once...
Bounty hunter with griffonfoot on chaos wastes is literally overpowered I fropped 18000 damage just using the pistols
That bow looks awesome! Really great for handmaiden, but I wonder if the waywatcher's bonus ammo will mean you get more of a charge?
Yeah I've been wondering that as well. Otherwise I can't see much use for the bow on WS since that career almost never runs out of ammo to begin with. Would be kinda of neat to melee a bit more and take another talent instead of ammo restore. Will test it tonight
Is moonfire usable by all Kerillian's classes?
I think so, but probably best for handmaiden.

So Kerrilians bow basically replaces the horrible hagbane shortbow.
Obviously best used on the handmaiden.
@@LemursManLemurs1 nope, hagbane just tends to deal friendly fire damage team mates which is annoying.

Which you shouldnt have to shoot over them anyway. As your role is watching flanks and making sure clusters dont get too close. And its easy when a charged bloodshots stagger area is so wide. Youre just jaded bc a lot of players that play elf are trash and team damage alot.
