- Welcome to another FORD POV drive video!
Today, we take the Ford Fiesta for a quick test drive.
We have the ST-Line pack at the exterior, and that translates into a very sporty drive since the car is very light but very agile on the road.
In this video, we will show you it's exterior & interior (as always), 0-100km/h, and a quick drive around town.
*PRICE AS TESTED*: 24.400€

My wife still has her previous model Red Edition 1.0 140 very quick car, I can jump out of my 208 Peugeot Sport GTi and into the fiesta and not really feel a a massive difference , except for when you really floor the Peugeot .
I really love her Fiesta...this new hybrid seems much quicker than the previous 140... wondering if it is?
yes is faster
@@AkritidesAK question answered 😁 I think this is her new car😁
just brought a desert island blue one and my god i love it!
Big congratulations Lewis!! 😄
Got the same motor on a Puma Vignale, very fun to drive and the engine growls nicely, you can clearly hear the turbocharger blowing
I’m surprised how fast this looks. Was thinking about the Mazda 2 but this looks more fun and driver focused. Can see this being a lot of fun on a B road Great POV 👍
This is waaaaay better !!! I was also surprised with the power.
Thank you 😄
@Angelo Suchla Because that was relevant 🤣🤣
It is way more expensive then the Mazda 2
Bought a black one last week, arrives somewhere this week, cant wait to drive it :D First review I found on youtube, thanks for uploading !
with 125 or 155 hp?
Fiesta in Brazil is a very expensive car, but in Europe and US is the cheapest car.
actually for a rather older model fiesta st they are very expensive. 2017 ones still sell for up to 20k
They hold their value well in the States
Asian too I’m from Thailand see it everywhere
I must admit I miss my fiesta so much, the wife wrote it off last year. Not her fault I might add. But can’t complain really as she replaced it with a kuga sport 180 bhp 2 lite. No comparison really. I love fords.
kes
wowww filmed in Portugal. you should filmed that video at serra de Sintra , its the opposite way from the starting point ahaha. I love that car, one day I will buy it. nice video and amazing quality. hope you enjoyed your country and ours roads . love from Portugal my friend.
Um abraço!!
Don’t have that here in America we have a damn electric mustang 🤢🤮
Very nice and beautiful Ford Fiesta st =) good video. At 4:24min Fiesta 1.0i is faster than 6.3i amg mb gelik =D
Yes but jesus let it change up higher.. it's a petrol not a diesel..
Change up at 2500 rpm, not at 1500.. you feel the car struggle and shake if you do that.. I know cause i've had two fiestas with the 1.0 litre
Oil pump belt: shreds.
Motor:locks
Just 1.0 things
Ohhh belt driven oil pump? I prefer a mechanical one.
I had the Fiesta as a learner car but with 100 ps, going full throttle on a empty expressway was fun
I have a 2018 ST but this looks just as fast 😐
Trust me it isnt
it is not.. i have the 125 hp.. is fast, but aint an ST
Is it still as boomy and shaky below ~1900rpm in higher gears, or does the addition of the electric motor help there?
It definitely helps! You don’t feel any shakes whatsoever.
Check out 4:15 with appropriate speakers or headphones. I drove the 125hp version (also mild-hybrid), and I could not believe that buyers (and the press) just swallow this. I wouldn't call it shaky, though. Just very "vibrant" ;-)... but still unbearable.
@@UnlimitedAuto You're probably very tolerant, to put it positively.
i finally drove a 2023 (one of the last) model and it indeed is better than on the older model years. with some music playing you can finally tolerate forth gear in city driving, but its still nothing to write home about.
Is It fun?? I mean, I'm between this one and the Swift Sport hybrid
Go for this one! Much better than Swift Sport
Bought it this week and next week it will arive. Hyped !
Congratulations man! 😄
Me too 😂😂
Got it now. Really good car 🔥
you shift way 2 early mate but very nice video!
Hello Lasse!
Sadly we couldn’t push harder because of speed limits and other regulations, sorry about that ☹️
Still tempted by this car.
Before starting the car by pressing the clutch, just press the start button, and when the system is ready to start the engine, it will tell you, press the clutch and the button, you will preserve the ECU and the fuses!! 👍🏼👍🏼
Doesn't make any difference
It's not fair, in Poland the 155 Hp Hybrid is also sold while here in Italy only the 125 Hp Hybrid is sold
Import
@@Femhara Yes ok, but being an import, who knows how much maintenance will cost me
Remap.
@@brianiswrong Yes ok, you remap it but with these hybrid engines right now I wouldn't trust it, too much too much electronics
@@brianiswrong and then your warranty is void
Lindo carro amo carros da Ford
A Ford sabe fazer carros bonitos e bons.
Quite nippy ain’t it . Fiesty little fiesta
How does the electric motor work with manual? Is it engaged all the time or only at low speeds (as long as you have battery)? Can you somehow drive with electric motor only (with the combustion engine turned off)?
The electric motor only “helps” the combustion motor when it needs some “push” to get more speed.
It’s engaged all the time, and you can’t turn it off or drive in fully electric mode.
The engine shut down if you release the clutch in some occasions (in town).
Also, the electric motor provides to operate the AC, so you can save some fuel!
@@UnlimitedAuto Interesting, thank you.
Driving it for 5 years soon. I'm happy the automatic transmission is sometimes iffy but all around ok.
4:41 "I wish I had a girlfriend."
0:44min I first time see thats thing on doors . That defend doors not to scratch/broke paint from other cars/doors?
Yes it is!!
Have ford replaced the 1.0L 140HP Petrol engine in the ST-Line with this hybrid engine at 155HP. Not a problem if they had, just wondering as we have a 140HP 1.0L in a 2018 mk8 st line fiesta and doesn't seem to be available brand new anymore.
this is the 140hp, the extra 15hp from a battery under the passenger seat,
@@stangordon1046 What I am saying is, the 140HP model, without the hybrid technology, is no longer available from what I see in the UK, so wondered if this was the case across Europe.
@@AGH01 it’s also the case, there’s no diesel option either
Nice Video. You drive like me with my Opel Adam 1.0T. Max 2000 rpm. Sorry for my English
What a weird review guys a nutter
average consumption please? and what about noise at high speed?
Honestly we did 6,8L. Driving normally and sometimes pushing a bit!
If you will drive most of the times aggressively, it can do around 7,5L.
About the noise, can’t complain about anything! All good and very smooth 😁
@@UnlimitedAuto the same as an ST 😂 on A16 do 220 there ahah
any problems with a/c on?
No problems at all!
By the time I get a car this will be it
Gosto mais do Puma !
Great driving, very nice to watch. Greetings from Russia
Thank you very much Michael!
A hug from Portugal!!
Acceleration looks quite peppy.
Anybody who has one of these have any problems getting used to the brake regen in Sport mode? Quite a few reviews online mention it’s quite aggressive.
I have one of these, and it's the first car I have with brake regen. I don't think the regen is aggresive, but you do feel it. I also got used to it fast, and it's nice to just let go of the speeder when you're going off ramps etc. instead of wearing your brakes down.
whats the best drive this ford fiesta or HYUNDAI I10 HATCHBACK or peogeot208 ?? and whats the best overall car ?
This Fiesta for sure!!!
@@UnlimitedAuto do you think it would be big enough for a big and tall person as am quite big so just wondering and thanks for replying am from the uk
@@UnlimitedAuto what about the Renault Clio,
and VOLKSWAGEN T-CROSS and polo vs the fiesta you think its better than these too ?
@@UnlimitedAuto do you think its the best car which is affordable
Nice video bro
Thank you very much Luke! 💪🏽
Sound system?
seems great !
2:07 dump moment with gear box.
In have FORD FIGO. FORD ❤️❤️
It's such a shame that in Italy Ford doesn't offer the 155 hp version
remap any other version and you get the same power in the end.

at last a decent vid , i was in 2 minds on getting 1. but after watching this now i know what to do .
I use to have the 140bhp ST-Line and got my 155bhp ST-Line X on Tuesday. I have zero regrets, it was worth the extra money.
@@sofinium HI also getting 155hp, seems a good all round car. at least the insurance wont hit the roof. enjoy yours.👍
I got mine just after Christmas. Incredible car, zero regrets.
In my country this car is cheaper than a Peugeot 208 with 100 hp and a VW Polo 1.0 with 95 hp..
Not this one with 155hp for sure
@@BrateTebra123 You did not read what I just wrote? It IS cheaper !
Couldn’t buy another fiesta after all the crap with the powershift transmission. Lost all faith in Ford sadly.
Why would you buy a Fiesta with an Automatic anyway?
@@edipires15 because I was born without the part of the brain which allows you to be able to drive a manual!
@@shannonalder6415 well too bad because the manual in the Fiesta is very good
@@edipires15 overall I think Ford's attitude and customer service is just plain crap which is another reason I will never buy another Ford. Each to their own though :)
This new design of the Ford Fiesta is so bad I like the 2017 st line and under design it was so much nicer and sporty
Fortnite profile picture= 12y old
This will be my first car when I finally get my license. But without the hybrid in the 125PS automatic. Will be driving a normal Fiesta Trend as a work car which is a manual but when I buy my own car I want it to be automatic 😊
Just found out it's a hybrid as well 🤣Good for me 👍🏻
excellent video greeting from Greece 👍 prefer this or polo r line??
Thank you very much!!!!
Prefer this Fiesta all the day all night 😅
@@UnlimitedAuto 155 hp is value to buy instead of 125?
Yes it is! We tested both engines and the 155HP is much more “alive” and you can really feel the difference.
The 125HP is fine, useful for everyday use.
But if you want more power, some fun while driving around corners, go for the 155Hp!
@@UnlimitedAuto in Greece is 2k more to buy it with 155hp y think worth it? I ask because will be nearly 20k
@@AkritidesAK In our honest opinion is definetely worth buying it.
If you go for the 155HP you will be more than happy with it!
Mi piace!
Kosiarka 😂🔥
It’s weird to hear a conventional engine sound with a electric motor noise
Is handling the wheel like this (e.g. 7:00) the youtube-test-driver shtick? Looks very inexperienced... and the "cool" inside-the-arch grip (9:24) doesn't really make up for it.
Anyway...
155 hp for a car of this size is definitely cool although a complete waste in this day and age. Also, to me, a car needs to do 200k km in about 10 years without any major problems. I don't see this with the high powered down-sizing engines.
I'm kind of glad the Fiesta's interior is butt ugly, even more so with the red accents, so I've never been really tempted to get one.
I have had this car for the past 3 months, if anyone has some questions about it, let me know!
How much fuel consumption with smooth driving?
@@PLAYRIDER13 Hi!, as you say this car depends how smoothly you drive it, for example when I commute to work (70km in total) with like 5 km inside the city, and it's a pretty 'flat' travel it does around 4,5-4,7 l/100km. But for me most normal is to do around 5,5l/100km on a daily basis, and if you I have a heavy feet that day it can go around 6-6,2 or up.
Also wanted to say that mostly I change gear when the indicator asks me to, so I drive pretty 'economically' unless my feet is heavy :P
Would you recommend this as a first car?
@@aria6709 simply Yes , but that's because this car for me ticks many boxes. I like the exterior, fun to drive, hatchback (I don't need a bigger car for now), Economically enough, 1l engine so I pay less taxes, powerful enough it has 155HP so the car is more than happy to do things safely like overtaking ( I always felt safe driving it).
I used to have a second handed Mk7 Fiesta, and I loved it and since I wanted a new car I tried the Clio, 208, Corsa and others but I loved the feeling of driving the Fiesta (it may be only inside of my head though :p )
Does it have stop start at traffic lights & when you’re driving slow (on electric power only)? If so, can you turn it completely off, and if you do will it stay off or come back on when you restart the car?
I have the 125HP Vignale but stage 1 remapped. I'd love to see this remapped!
iHi, you done remap to 107kw or more? :) And how is the feeling, it much more lively with remap?
