Just bought the Ford Fiesta ST Line 125hp 2021 ! Upgrade from a 2003 Citroën Berlingo 90hp HAHAHA What a car, brother ! So fun to drive and pretty quick car for such a small engine ! Best choice for me
It's quite a lot of work for the synchros in the gearbox going from 2nd to 5th, but also there was a fault where the clutch release bearing was not fitted correctly and was a ford recall
Might be a little late for you to recall your memory but i want to ask you or anybody whos driven an st line if the suspension is too firm in town, i am looking at one because i like the st line styling and it being lowered and a bit stiffened but i wouldnt want it to be too stiff and harsh either...
As you say it's been a while since I drove it, but I don't remember it being particularly harsh. I don't think I'd want the larger wheels (18s I think) that are standard on the ST line x, they may make things too harsh. I actually think the 17s look better as well.
@@andyguk Keep up the great work with these POV driving videos. Its immersive to watch as a viewer and we can tell how a car feels like to drive. Hope you get your hands on other engines of the Fiesta as well as other fun cars to drive.
It’s definitely enough, remember it’s not only the horsepower but the torque that also plays a big part in how an engine performs. If you ever want more power you can remap it to around 180 horsepower which is in fiesta st territory!
I love the ford fiesta when I'm old enough to get a licence this will be my first car.
Great first car!
How old are u, I’m 15 I have 2 more years 😞😞
@@mclovin1463 I'm 13 almost 14 so I have about 3 more years

Finally ive got uk pov drive channel. Subscribed.
Thanks for subscribing. More drives coming soon 👍

Great video - just what I needed as a possible buyer
Glad it helped 👍
the turbos make lovely music with an induction kit
Looks like such a smooth drive, I’ve had a 2010 corsa for 6 years and I’m desperate to upgrade

Find something that will not explode , and a company thet cares about its customers , just advice.

a friend of mine has this card but he titanium version. What stands out on the car was the audio. I have never heard such good audio in a car
Gonna get a black one of these in a few months hopefully. It’s also gonna be my first car
Enjoy. Great car
I've had 8 since 1981 ,,and no problems sad day when they stop making them 😢,,
Im doing my driving lessons in one of these but will 140hp it's a pretty nice car when you get use to it
👍 Thank You So Much 🇬🇧
Got mine yesterday still haven’t tested it out due to insurance 😕
9:55 ouch 😬 poor car
You must live local because I’m only a 5 minute walk from St Mary’s church.
Great video also.
Nice driving a good driver
I’m getting one of these in October in grey just not sure weather I like the 3 door better or the 5 door
It’s one car I actually think looks better in the 5 door
Please get a 3 door
The 3 door is beautiful ordering one this januo
January
Like how it can still go fast in like 2nd gear 😂 9:33
9:54 how did that happen? Clutch not pressed down? Poor thing
It's quite a lot of work for the synchros in the gearbox going from 2nd to 5th, but also there was a fault where the clutch release bearing was not fitted correctly and was a ford recall
Is this Warwick Castle ends?
Is This Warwick town? Wow!!
Yes it is 👍
@@andyguk I’m very very local !
What happened there at 9:55? Did you grind the gear?
synchros gone lol
@@john-peters funnily enough (since this comment) my mate had a rental one of these and did the same thing when he went into 3rd lol
clutch throwout not good enough for the gear change, used to be a fault on these mk8s where the clutch release bearing was ill fitted
@@insertnamehere5660oh I see, my mate had a courtesy one last year and it had the same issue once when going into 3rd

How do you use cruise control on that car? Cus I can't see the button for it
It's on the steering wheel
what would you reccomend as a first car im thinking of getting a ford fiesta
Avoid ecoboost like the plague. Most garages won't touch them. Go for a Fiesta Zetec instead or a TDCI
Might look at getting one of these on motability as me first car

It will have no problems on the motorway, there's enough juice for overtaking
Broom Broom!!!
do these models have sports mode
Does anyone know of the 19/69 plate have car play?
Nice video is the 100 bhp enough for this car
I was very impressed. I think it is enough, but would love to try the 125 or 140 HP version!

Anyone got one of these and drive it country side? any good on hills or nah??
i have the mk7.5 st line with the same 1.0 engine but with the 140hp power figure, i’d highly recommend it hot country roads and hills
I climb hills in 3rd with tight bends easily
I'm looking to upgrade to this exact model and trim. Does it come with AC? I cannot find any information about AC online.
AC is standard on the ST Line in the UK
@@andyguk thanks
What’s the name of the colour ?
I think it’s called Magnetic Grey
The sound of your jacket/coat ruins it all
Could have took that coat of mush
What combined mpg do people get with these 1.0 eco boost engines? Thanks in advance!
Around town I get around 40 but that doesnt include many straight runs
Advertised as 57ish combined.
Warwick?
Yes it is. Beautiful town!
Why only 100bhp?
What kind of question is that? Because that’s how much power the engine has..
