  • I wanted to show you how to throw together a super simple, no chop, no prop, lentil soup in minutes. I did this one in the Instant Pot but it could be done just as easily on your stovetop as well. Just grab some dry ingredients, throw them in the pot with some water and you're done. Hope you will give it a shot. I love to eat this whenever I don't have time to prep the fresh ingredients, but I included the amounts for fresh vegetables as well. Enjoy!

    My hero. Love the simplicity, and high nutritional value. I might even wilt in some greens when I open the pot. Great recipe. Thanks for creating it, and for posting.

    Saw this last night and knew that i had all of the fresh, not dried, ingredients. Got home from work tonight and threw it together in 5 minutes. Seasoned with curry and used fire roasted tomatoes and adder frozen fire roasted corn. Can’t wait until it’s done!!

    OK I just made this and.. oh my god. I can not believe how delicious this is. I was thinking for SURE I would need to jazz it up in some way with something but the taste is so good, well balanced and perfectly savory. After one bowl I am so satisfied and excited about how easy it was to make. Of course I did not have any of the dried items so I used fresh, per your recommendation.
    Masterful, Dillon! Thank you!

    Ok, I loved the video LIKE USUAL! You never disappoint! I also know you’re super busy, I imagine that we don’t even have any idea how super busy you are. But your videos are getting shorter & shorter! Just when I get settled in with a big bucket of popcorn (kidding, no popcorn 😁) the video is over!!
    Ok, I’m through. I am grateful that you find the time with all you do for us. I know it’s a lot! Thanks! ❤️

    Glad to hear you're planning on making an SOS Sriracha for sale to public, since I haven't found one yet that isn't loaded with stuff we try to avoid. Would freeze drying your finished product be possible for easier and cheaper shipping? Crumbled Sriracha? Just curious.

      Water boils on my stove about 150 times faster than in the instant pot. It saves a lot of time.

    • @orificium
      @orificium 5 років тому

      @@WellYourWorld 150x faster? That seems exaggerated but I'll have to give it a try. My Instant Pot heats up incredibly fast. I suppose it would make sense to boil the water while you're busy getting together all the ingredients and adding them to the pot.

    Sweetened with figs? Figs contain wasps...ie. dead animals. Could I suggest not using figs to sweeten your sriracha or you will be putting off a lot of potential customers. Also, thanks for the great recipe.
