No Chop Vegan LENTIL SOUP - Instant Pot - Oil Free - SOS Free
Вставка
- Опубліковано 3 жов 2024
- I wanted to show you how to throw together a super simple, no chop, no prop, lentil soup in minutes. I did this one in the Instant Pot but it could be done just as easily on your stovetop as well. Just grab some dry ingredients, throw them in the pot with some water and you're done. Hope you will give it a shot. I love to eat this whenever I don't have time to prep the fresh ingredients, but I included the amounts for fresh vegetables as well. Enjoy!

My hero. Love the simplicity, and high nutritional value. I might even wilt in some greens when I open the pot. Great recipe. Thanks for creating it, and for posting.
Great idea with the greens!! Thank you!
Read this just in time to stir some greens into the starch blaster stew over potatoes I'm having for dinner. Thanks!
Saw this last night and knew that i had all of the fresh, not dried, ingredients. Got home from work tonight and threw it together in 5 minutes. Seasoned with curry and used fire roasted tomatoes and adder frozen fire roasted corn. Can’t wait until it’s done!!
oh yum sounds nice!
The signature bowl spin and first bite. Love it! 😂 Brilliant idea to use dried ingredients. Brilliant I say.
Thank you for great recipes that making eating plant based so much easier!
Very helpful! You're killin' it with these recipes!
Thank you!
Where's the dehydrated veggies link? This looks like an, easy and scrumptious recipe.
OK I just made this and.. oh my god. I can not believe how delicious this is. I was thinking for SURE I would need to jazz it up in some way with something but the taste is so good, well balanced and perfectly savory. After one bowl I am so satisfied and excited about how easy it was to make. Of course I did not have any of the dried items so I used fresh, per your recommendation.
Masterful, Dillon! Thank you!
Ok, I loved the video LIKE USUAL! You never disappoint! I also know you’re super busy, I imagine that we don’t even have any idea how super busy you are. But your videos are getting shorter & shorter! Just when I get settled in with a big bucket of popcorn (kidding, no popcorn 😁) the video is over!!
Ok, I’m through. I am grateful that you find the time with all you do for us. I know it’s a lot! Thanks! ❤️
Aw thank you Kathy, this one was only short because the recipe was so simple. I will vary up the length though. Thank you for the support!
Can’t wait for the SOS free sriracha!
It’s gonna rock!
Thank you love your quick and easy
Thank you!
Every single recipe that I have tried of yours ALWAYS tastes amazing!! Looking forward to trying this one too! Thanks for sharing Dillon!
Thank you!
Quick and easy
Thanks Randy!
I love lentils I could eat them every day--this is one soup I am gonna have to try real soon! Maybe tomorrow! Great video!
Thank you!
Lol love the waiting process for natural pressure release
I love it when you taste the food. It makes it look so delicious!
Ahhh, you never fail to please, Mr Fancy Pants !! That manual release was everything!!! ( I MAY have re-watched it a time or 2 .. ) This will be on the menu this week! Thank ya ! xo
he he .... thanks Lisa! XO
Hope to see it soon! Hubby hates heat, but I LOVE sriracha! Ordering more cheese sauce and trying your mushroom gravy soon!
Thank you Betty! I appreciate the support!
@@WellYourWorld it's good stuff!
Ahhhhh! Love all you do!!
Thank you!
SOOOOO good!! and EASY, thank you Dillon!!! I just ordered all the dry ingredients, had to chop for the 1st time......but worth it!!
I couldn't find the link for the dried ingredients. Where did you get yours?
Been wanting to watch this all month! As usual, sounds amazing. Just an FYI - I would pay extra for a glass bottle on the Siracha... I know you can't squeeze a glass bottle, but I will take less plastic wherever and whenever I can :) :)
This is excellent feedback! Thank you
Just started the pressure cooker...can't wait to try it!
am running out for carrots to do this RIGHT NOW!! I 😍..love these no fuss recipes..thx
Happy to hear it!
Can’t wait to try this one 👍🏻
Thank you, I think you'll like it!
Love this recipe-you rock Dillon. Oh man, I can't wait for your sriracha.
Oh man me too believe me. So many other awesome bottles saucing coming soon too!
you got me excited about the sos free sriracha
I’m so excited I can’t even tell you!
@WellYourWorld. Did you post the link for the dried ingredients?
I don't see link for the dry veggie ingredients?
Love lentils, thanks for this recipe 🙏💜
Thanks for the recipe, trying it tonight! Is it written out anywhere?
Working on a little book for that soon. Thank you!
Thanks for another great recipe!!
Thank you very much.
love it i have an instant pot want to make healthy food.
love it--thanks
So funny I just made basically the same soup earlier but did all the chopping except for some frozen mixed veg. Going to look for the dried veg and definitely sign me up for the no SOS Sriracha.
It's really tasty!! Thank you!
You crack me up!😃😁😀 Thanks so much.
My pleasure!
Sounds like no need to soak the green lentils first? If I did soak first, any idea how much less time it would be? (New IP owner here).
I'm hungry now! Thanks Dillon!
Made it today YUM👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👍💕❤️💕❤️💪🏼
You could use that dry soup mix from winco. Do you get your canned tomatoes without salt at Winco?
Yes I do indeed!
NICE!
Hi Buff! Thank you!
Well Your World you had me cracking up when you were waiting for the pressure release to finish (holding onto the counter and looking at the ground). Can also count on a few laughs and your quirky delivery to entertain as well as receiving some very useful info! Thanks for being there for us, we all need UA-cam friends to keep us inspired and happy in this world where we often feel like the odd man out.
Glad to hear you're planning on making an SOS Sriracha for sale to public, since I haven't found one yet that isn't loaded with stuff we try to avoid. Would freeze drying your finished product be possible for easier and cheaper shipping? Crumbled Sriracha? Just curious.
Gonna be delicious
I like to use 1/2 green and 1/2 red split lentils. The soup ends up being creamy.
Very nice, sounds delicious!
I want to dip some whole grain multi grain-whatever toast right into all of that.
mmmmhmmmm yum
Where is the link to the dry ingredients mentioned in the video?
I'm wondering where you buy your bulk cashews and also the dried celery & dried carrots?
making it... right now.
Looks good! Can't find crushed red pepper at Costco anymore...
Ugh I hate when Costco does that. You can ask the checkout person to see when they’ll have it back in stock. They usually know a while in advance.
@@WellYourWorld Ok good advice! I've been using off brand spices to get by.
I do too. It’s all spice
Whaaaaat!!!!!??! SOS Free ShreeeRachwa!!! Yeah!!
It’s gonna be so awesome I’m telling you
Have you noticed that Furhmans Gbombs are all really high oxalate foods. ? Thoughts? Or concerns. Confused plant based here
I suggest you just forget about all the reductionist blah ua-cam.com/video/uqTDPg3o8xY/v-deo.html
How do I get the recipe for this?
❤
Would it be advantageous to use frozen over dried ingredients? For better taste or nutrients?
Frozen might taste a little fresher than dried. I switch it up from time to time depending on how much messing around I want to do.
Tonight 👍🏼
With that, I will buy an instant pot!
Where is recipe ingredients can’t find
We do not have a written version of this recipe, but we do have a similar one here wellyourworld.com/blogs/youtube-videos/lentil-squash-stew
The intro to this video was Gordon Ramsey showing you how to make mashed potatoes with Yukon Golds and I didn't 'skip ad' right away like I normally do until he added 1 1/2 cups heavy cream :(
Ha ha oh boy. That Gordon.
❤️❤️❤️
I just can't get rid of the s Im a SO free person.
Don't you have to wait for the water to boil? What's the point? Seems like wasted effort.
Water boils on my stove about 150 times faster than in the instant pot. It saves a lot of time.
@@WellYourWorld 150x faster? That seems exaggerated but I'll have to give it a try. My Instant Pot heats up incredibly fast. I suppose it would make sense to boil the water while you're busy getting together all the ingredients and adding them to the pot.
Sweetened with figs? Figs contain wasps...ie. dead animals. Could I suggest not using figs to sweeten your sriracha or you will be putting off a lot of potential customers. Also, thanks for the great recipe.
Great video Dillon! Amazing coincidence I made almost this exact recipe this weekend!
Hi Michael, thanks for checking it out!
