For enemy survivors you need to give the attack command for your cars to attack. Leave buildings inside near your perimeter fence you can use them as towers by putting your squads inside them. You forgot to return to the old man's safe house there are two guns and ammo crates there
I don't think I'd play this game myself but it's pretty interesting to watch.
The driver in your car keeps winding up with the assault rifle; you need to swap them out of that position so they can fire.
For other people playing this game, the first person in the squad is the vehicle driver. Don’t equip them with assault rifles as they can’t use them and drive. If you are driving around only, they don’t even need a pistol.
Crazy the infected can use the radio! :O
I counted 73 dogs at 41:32, not including those already killed and if some were kinda merged together.
You can use shift to queue multiple commands. I will often queue up 17 buildings and then my headquarters so that anytime I see someone at headquarters I know they are out of buildings. You can also use control one through nine to designate squads for quick access.

This game makes me wish you could bop down and play it on the ground, State of decay style.
Ive noticed that the ones you use for fighting have ranks by them. Do they go up as they fight and get better? Or do they lose all their xps when you disband them and they have to start over? You would think after a year of fighting now, some of them would have lvled up if that is possible.
They all level up with the experiences they have in the squad. They do not lose it when disbanded.

Any idea if it uses European architecture and European stuff for European cities? If not no problemo I'll just play on US-cards. I would hate to ruin immersion by finding random Assault Rifles in buildings. I mean... It's Europe maybe there is a hunting rifle somewhere in a rural area but assault rifles? That I wouldn't buy.

You can put squads in any building and they will defend.
Put a squad in the research center.
Not a bad idea. I’m simply drawing them to the building either the highest HP, but that one is close enough to support the same strategy with swarm control.
Its not a good idea. The infected can invade any building but the HQ. The HQ is the only building the infected have to destroy before getting in

What if you can use the demolishing workers to do one demolishing job at a time to quickly break it down and use the extra workers to do the demolishing of another building

I wouldn't be surprised if some people wrote cease and desist letters to the devs demanding their own house or place of business be removed from the game
That would be very silly. There are no references or remarkable characteristics about any residential building in the game, and most of the home shapes are inaccurate.
Then again… this is 2024. People will complain about just about anything.

Really enjoying your play through and commentary. Watching another person and he takes his unites and has them que up many places to search. noticed you don't do this. He doesn't have commentary wondering if you can show us how this is done. Cant wait for the April 11 release of the game.
