MDT Elite Grip Install

Quick video on how to install the MDT Elite grip on an Aero Precision Solus chassis. The MDT grip frame is a solid design, super robust. Flat dark earth compliments the clear anodized chassis pretty well, I’m really happy with the combo! This will make for a true precision 22lr trainer!

I just found out with my solus on a bravo chassis it will cycle rounds a lot smoother with the pmags but will not fall free. The ACIS metal mags take a lot more force to cycle but fall free.

That’s interesting! Why do the metal mags require more force? Is it a heavier mag spring? Does the bolt ride contact the magazine when cycling?

Heavier spring but 5 rounds in the 10 round magpul and 1 round in the ACIS 5 rounders is still harder. Almost sounds like they are rubbing.
