Why are they calling it a m24???? M24 has a 24” barrel, not 20”
Idk. Different barrel makers offer different contours. Maybe the math works at the muzzle diameter to be considered the correct contour

Thanks for comment! I shoot a lot of NRL22, that’s where I first saw their rifle scopes. I was impressed at the value for the money. I was really happy with the whole warranty process. I think the issue with my illumination dial was an anomaly. What do you run your Arken scopes on?
@@workingmantactical I have the EP5 5x25-56 on a Winchester model 70 6.8 Western and a SH4 4x16-50 on a Winchester model 70 .270.

@@workingmantactical it’s about like a 30/06 honestly. It’s an awesome caliber. I love the .277 caliber
30/06 is a thumper in a light rifle! I’ll have to look into the drops of the 6.8.

My stupid neighbor burned a huge patch and the smoke was blowing at my house and I inhaled it while I was working outside. I was in the hospital for weeks and almost died because I am extremely allergic...it went through my entire body. Thank God for steroids!!😢

@Grumpyseabee22 it’s just a stock 17. I replaced the sight with sevigny competition sights. Weapon light is a streamlight tlr1.
@@workingmantactical I have a G45 which is basically a 17 lower and a 19 slide. Best of both worlds to me.

They usually do blemish releases around holidays. I got mine during Black Friday last year. It’s pretty cool they’re offering @aeroprecision chassis in all sorts of sizes!

Nice video, as always. 👍 I noticed that you have that new Arken 1-8. Any good options about it...?? You like it...??? It's oddly affordable, so I'm a little suspicious.
Thanks!! This match was my first time really putting it through its paces. I rolled the dice because of the price too, but it held up to bounding and crawling. The 34mm tube makes for a good bright sight picture when shooting 500 yards. 1x with illumination on 9 was plenty bright for close range. I’m definitely happy with it. We’ll see how it does in the long run.

Glue failed on mine after maybe 6 to 10 mags. I tried to contact the company to ask which glue I should use to repair it. They have not responded in almost a month to my emails and phone calls (went to voice mail everytime). Product was great for the time it lasted, company is 100% unresponsive.
Same thing happened to me. I ran a piece of electrical tape around it and eventually used old fashioned crazy glue. It’s been holding up so far.

It’s basically 1.5” wide beveled on 45 degree angles. 13” long.

Just curious why you have your optic so high?
That's a great question! I'm running 34mm A.R.M.S scope rings, they only come in one height. The 56mm objective was contacting my rail- no good. So I added a PRI 0.5" riser rail to correct the issue. The Magpul PRS Lite stock gets my cheek weld and line of sight right where I need it.
What bipod are you running?
Is a Harris 6-9 swivel with an area 419 arca adapter. It works great for me.

Are you pleased with the action? How is the bolt lift/cocking and will the bolt bind and gritty?
@robsreloading I’m really happy with it! I think when you’re running the action like you would in a match, you don’t feel the cock on lift. If you do it slowly you can feel it. The bolt is smooth. I made a solid purchase.
Debating picking one of these up but in the Bravo chassis. Are you happy with the velocity/SD/ES from the standard barrel compared to other barrels of the same length/caliber? I’m on the fence on getting a Solus in .308 then 6.5 if the .308 is nice. My hold up is the barrel being made by Ballistic Advantage. I’ve not had good luck at all with their barrels accuracy wise. And they are always on the slower side. 3x BA premium stainless .223 wylde, 1x BA premium stainless 6mm ARC, and 2x Aero nitride in .308. Have gotten some good groups with each, but not consistently at all. Hand loading for the .223 Wylde was frustrating to say the least. They’re ok for a general purpose rifle shooting 55/62 grain, but anything precision related builds I’m done with BA/Aero in AR barrels. All those barrels were replaced with: White Oak Armament, Rainier Arms, Centurion, Wilson Combat. All were noticably more accurate and less picky my first time out with each of them compared to any BA barrel.
Better pick it up today they are 30.8% off till midnight for 308 day. The extended the day through the weekend

@JGoodZX6R I don’t think you’ll find more value for the price. You can always upgrade the barrel later if you want. The action is fantastic.
Just got my Aero chassis. I have a Remington 700 short action reciever and the bolt release does not work after installing the action. Comparing it with my previous XLR chassis it appears they didn’t machine enough of a relief for it to work properly. We’ll see what customer service says. Anyone else have this issue?
I wouldn’t sweat it. I would just use a small hand file to fit everything together. DM me on Instagram or Facebook.

Have you tried Varget powder? It’s my go too in .308!
All I have is 8208 and cfe223. Varget has been tough to find bc it’s one of the best powders out there. A buddy just built a 22arc and is getting good velocity with cfe223 so I might try some 308 development with that.

I agree I wish it came with the folder. I still think I got a really good deal overall and will still be ahead of the game (as long as the folding adapter isn’t too expensive). Aero was just running 20% off everything for Presidents’ Day so I’m sure I’ll be able to save money on the folder during a sale in the future. @lukefarris556

Need some help here... just to make sure I'm understanding this right. If I own a Remington 700 or similar bolt rifle.... I can purchase this chassis and swap over the barrel and the trigger and use this chassis?? Is it a pretty a simple install??
It's a super easy install. There's two bolts, "action screws". That's it! There's a lot of how to content for installing chassis. Once I get me new Bergara B14R barrel, I'll make a video of the installation. It's really simple.
