I know it’s been a couple years since you posted this but I just have to tell you that I laughed my ass off!! We have all needed some thinking juice to get through a project. I’m glad you found and cured the problem.
Cut a piece of cardboard roughly the shape of the cylinder head. Poke the bolts thru the cardboard in the locations from whence they came. Sharpie marker an "UP" arrow on there for good measure. "LH" & "RH" too perhaps. Cheap insurance.
I had it happen not once but twice with a six cylinder Chevy. I over hauled it for my uncle and he put the same carb on it and had the screws back out again so i got to tear it down twice. Put a new carb on the second time.
this is fantastic, it's like you're rebuilding our 1980s farm on this channel...we had an 1805 MF and a Case 446 lawn tractor...now you just need to do a MF 750 combine :)
I fiddle with a lot of old mowers and tillers, it’s more common than you think! Me thinks a teenager had something to do with it! Maybe trying to get it running!
That's so cool you got it running man! I have a 446 that needs help, can you do a road trip? 😄 At least I'm from Racine where these were built, so I should be able to find the parts I need.
Holy cow, those are some big meats for a tractor that size! I've seen a few with truck tires, but the ratio front to back makes them very interesting to the eyes. If those were factory, it must have been the Deluxe Outdo Your Neighbor and His Neighbor package. 😁 Add: Glad it was something relatively easy! I was 'head deep' in an engine last week and found about 2 pounds of bottom bits in the top bits, among a bunch of pecan shells and fistfuls of dirt. The one thing I didn't find was oil... When bargain finds turn out to be nightmare fuel!
I have a question for you case 446 guys,I have a 85' 446 that ran great, then suddenly won't get fuel, has new battery & plugs so I put a new fuel filter in and it's getting to the carburetor but still nothing,it starts for a second with carb cleaner but won't stay running, is a a fuel pump or the carb?? I'd appreciate any input, love your channel!
If you have fuel going to the carb, but not into the engine you have either a stuck float in the carb keeping the needle stuck in the seat, or a plugged main jet. A good carb cleaning should fix that right up
I am catching up on your older videos....Good Stuff!!
Right on! 😊

Right on! 😆
Glad you got in running! Love that your cat likes to be a part in the action. Really cute commentary Joey!
That’s a high dollar machine. Hope you can get the hood. 👍
Useful tool you rescued there , pleased it was easy to get the nuts out of the port . Fluffy was the star , of course . 👍🇬🇧
😀 she steals the spotlight every time

I’m glad you had thinking juice to see the problem clearly, and a good mechanical background.
Right on!
Cool wee case tractor friend well done friend for getting it running and please please keep the great videos coming friend from Scotland 👍😀
You need to add a Fluffy seat so she can supervise whilst you mow or snow blow.
Thanks for posting JT
Thanks for watching!
That was a common problem with the Onan because of vibration. Always loctite them when putting them back
Nice , I’m glad you got it running. Thank for sharing JT , enjoyed watching!
I had that exact model. Great little tractor
Right on!
Good fix
Good video JT! Glad it was something simple for you. Thanks for putting up the vids and giving me some good laughs. Happy holidays too ya! -Cal
Same to you! Glad you got some laughs 😉

I'm always entertained by your "will it start" videos; and now, for some reason, want an apple busch whenever I'm dinking around on a project.
Now if everything wasn’t packed in like Daisy Duke shirts you would have fun taking it all apart🇨🇦👍🍺
You know I’d have fun with it no matter what 😉
@@jtsbarnngrill6873 and who wouldn’t
Now ive got to get mine going after years of sitting. It needs a dual coil. Great video👍

I definitely would! They’re getting hard to find
Great Video and cooool tractor!!
Thanks!
What tractor 😁
All I see is Farrah Fawcett 😊
😆😆😆
That fine machine is called a "high wheel" - a "big wheel" is a little kid's plastic tricycle.

Another good video. Keep them coming.
Awesome.
Each side had a screw stuck and no compression? Fluffy wisphers pointers to diagnose no doubt.
Yup, she always has the best advise. Had two screws missing on the air housing, one went in each bank lol

Wow, 1 year ago you had only 1500 subscribers and today just short of 12k, that’s awesome man!
Thank you! It amazes me that my little channel has taken off so well, but I sure am glad to have everyone along for the ride 😉
Good job
You need to add a fourth requirement - compression.

Been watching your videos for a while. This is the video that made me subscribe!
Right on! Glad to have you aboard!
J T I noticed you didn't consult Fluffy what could cause no compression.

Those were factory on those little case and ingersol rand tractors in the 80’s! Cool little tractors!
Maybe lap the valves too.
Points are a constant issue I have same Tractor .
if its been sitting blow into the fuel tank for a few second to push fuel up the lines !!
I had the same poster of Farrah, she is gone now. 😢
10/10 very cool

How much more money do you have invested in that lawn mower how much did you buy it for
It's an Onan. Needs money to run! O man!🤦♂️
nothing like knowing how
Shortages you say?? It’s called “ Building Back Broke”…
No lawn tractor
