#KingdomHeartsMonth
Thank you so much Josh for Kingdom Hearts month. These countdowns were amazing and brought me so much joy. The ending of KH3 left me depressed and these countdowns brought my joy back. Thank you so much and you deserve a break for making all these amazing videos! 10/10 on all of them!!
A fellow preston I see
Preston Rowland did the ending leave you depressed because you realised it was yet another cliffhanger? Cause it left me hyped but pessimistic to the idea that it'll come out anytime soon
Yes and no. It was bittersweet and sad at the ending. Which made me depressed bc it was sad. But I was also going through some stuff after losing my old principal to cancer when I first saw the ending which was mainly why I was depressed bc he was there for me all the time to make my day better and then just vanished. But I know that he is not in pain anymore and with God in heaven so I’m happy
Josh : Final Xehanort is only Number 9
Me:"Okay I believe you"

KEYBLADE
Also, my name spelled backwards is Disney.
Mansex
quack
I love how prevalent the Just a Pancake memes are becoming in the community. It's impressive how many jokes we've gotten from one creator.
Unfortunately he also started the meme that Xehanort was "redeemed" in the ending, which couldn't be further from the truth.
@@Kingdom850 I mean... he sorta WAS. He and Eraqus got to pass on happily to the afterlife and never had to repent his crimes. Dude basically got one ass whooping and then was let off Scot free.
@@goldencyclone4984 It's more like they made him admit defeat. Besides, there's no hell or heaven in Kingdom Hearts. Everyone goes to the same plcae when they die for good.
@@soul6733 Didn't say anything about heaven or hell, I said that they passed on happily to the afterlife. And sure they made him admit defeat, but he did not answer for or express remorse for any of the lives he ruined or people he killed. He got off easy.
@@goldencyclone4984 The heroes aren't as ruthless as he is. There's no need to make him suffer, especially when he was already dying anyway after the final battle. I thought it was pretty pathetic seeing him pour his heart out going on about how he's the only one who can set the world "right". Sora then telling him he doesn't get to decide his own destiny and has to accept that was perfect. You keep claiming he happily passed on, I see it as nothing but the characters pitying him due to how pathetic he is. He was so sure of himself, completely deranged cocky bastard who thought all his back up plans for his back up plans were going to help him win in the end. Yet Sora still beat him.
*Xemnas at number 2*
Axel: TWO?!
And Quibble Pants seems to have taken Josh over.
Um...the Nobody rant at the Xemnas segment was funny at first, but using captions to cover the fight over your rant called back to your super old text countdowns.
Never call back to text countdowns.
I think the captions are meant to represent his editor putting in his own anecdotes.
It was just meant for some comedy, and the text got the point across without need for emotion that can be told only through voice
Josh has talked about this fight so many times that if he kept doing it the same way it would get repetitive. It's difficult to task about how great something is and keep it interesting the whole time
*People who haven't played Kingdom Hearts: "Why does it matter that there's this old dude?"*
*Kingdom Hearts fans since KH1:*
Fun Fact: Final Ansem's space ship thingy is called World of Chaos. Probably cuz it looked like Numora designed it and never stopped.
To be fair, that could be applied to the entire Kingdom Hearts series. Just Nomura going more and more Nomura.
Well at least Nomuras belts and zippers phrase seems to have calmed down now. Since he's found a new love with Buttons and Plaid.
Number VI
"Sora believes in himself, Ansem turns into a boat, and the player mashes X a lot!"
Number II
"Sora believes in himself, Xemnas turns into a boat, and the player mashes X a lot. And sometimes Triangle."
Number IX
"Sora believes in himself, Xehanort turns into a goat, and the player mashes L2 a lot. Well, at least someone turned into a boat."
Men of culture, I see
Nana. Xemnas turned into a living castle Dragon. Because im near damn sure thet thing is MADE out of parts from the castle. Ansem only was a whale boat. Castle Dragon with throne brain is way cooler...Also did you look at Xemnas Cape in his armor? THAT MAN...knows what is stylish!
more of a dragon than boat.
Wanna know something ironic? There actually is someone who saw Roxas as his own person besides Axel and Xion. That person? Riku.
Please clarify, cause I genuinely don't at all see how Riku treated him anything other than cruelly. Maybe not as much as DiZ, but cold nonetheless. I guess he did pity him a bit though, but not enough to ever tell him the truth or give him any agency over his fate like he did with Xion. In fact now that I think about it, every single interaction they had over the course of the series was antagonistic up until the end of kh3 (and that's never explained).
@@DLxxx I say hes basically like Axel, he wanted to see his friend again. Thats the only reasoning I can come up with
Another person who saw Roxas as his own person, who certainly did not deserve what befell him and had every right to live for himself. Someone who refused to accept that Roxas was never meant to be and insisted that he should be given the chance to live a real life like everyone else.
That person?
Sora.
Except not really Riku deliberately fucks with him in Days by bringing out his inner Sora, making Roxas's already massive identity complex worse. If anyone Sora's the only person aside from his other nobodys that treats him like a person.
I wish, i wish, with all my might...
For a KH3 DLC secret boss fight with Gilgamesh. WITH ACCOMPANYING REMIX.
YES!
"You called, mongrel?" Wait wrong Gilgamesh-
May it be better than in FFXV.
Nomura only put FF characters he designed.
Union cross x fot heartless Gilgamesh so we going to get that or he and kefka stuck on mobile
Xehanort's actions perfectly fit his motives stated in BBS, he was spreading darkness because he believed there was too much light in the world and he was trying to balance it, and his KH3 motives fall in line with this. Also, yeah, Nomura makes shit up as he goes, we've known that
WATCH XIGBAR SCENES AND TELL ME THIS WASN"T PLANED LUXU
@@MrSailing101 The Luxu twist was amazing, but that was absolutely not what he planned from KH2. I can believe he planned it when he made Luxu, but not when he made Xigbar.
@@aneonfoxtribute then explain how Xigbar always knew more than he let on, if he hadn't always been Luxu
@@MrSailing101 Because he was Braig. He was in on Xehanort's real plans before everyone else.
@@aneonfoxtribute that neither changes nor contradicts my point. He had the knew more than what he let on attitude even in BBS, even to Xeahanort.
This was nice but the Ansem(Seeker of Darkness), Xemnas, Young Xehenort fight at the end of 3 will always have a spot on my list, atleast number 5. This battle had been a long time coming and the music that accompanies it(which is a mix of all three bosses' themes), is simply bliss. Their attacks compliment each other well, depending on your level if your not careful one combo from them will wipe you out. I even enjoyed their end dialog which basically boiled down to
Xemnas: I regret my choice and I miss my "friends"
Ansem: I thought about being good but things started going downhill so screw it
Young Xehenort: Suck my D*ck, Darkness forever
Well, Young Xehanort was a teenager, and as we all know, teenagers can be the biggest little sh*ts ever.
Edit: Whoopsie poopsie, I did an oopsie. *censors*
Favorite bosses per game (that I played/finished)
KH1FM: Riku-Ansem
KH2FM: Data Roxas
BBS: Final Vanitas
DDD: Wargoyle
KH3: Final Xehanort
Say what you want, Wargoyle is one of the few bosses in DDD that didn't annoy me
Eh, I liked Rinzler the best out of all of the bosses from the Disney worlds, Holey Moley and the Clawbsters had too much chasing down, Pete and the Beagle Boys are way too hard to block and are annoying since you have to fight them one after the other, Chernabog's fight was a bit too short and easy, Wargoyle hit me way too much in far too quick succession, Riku's fight in the Grid was okay, but nothing to write home about, and Spellican is just the worst
jrpludacrous fun fact, the Wargoyle fight was designed to dis-incentivise blind button mashing
@@DMDarren doesn't stop me from spamming Fire and Balloon magic till he dies
jrpludacrous lol
Wargoyle was a pain, but commantis is where the true pain in the as is. I'm going in proud mode so I may have a squed perspective, also I haven't finished DDD yet.
So happy to see sköll on this list, he is my favourite boss in KH3
Not mine. Took 7-8 tries to beat it.
Even if the level before it was NOT the best it could have been...
And at least his Instakill time limit ACTUALLY MAKES SENSE!!!
Ok. After saying EVERYTHING YOU BELIEVE IN from the number 2 entry, and actually AGREEING WITH MY THINKING THAT ROXAS IS THE BEST KH BOSS EVER, you deserve some time off, my man. YOU DESERVE IT.
The false Ansem is Xehanort's Heartless and thus takes the form of Xehanort in his prime. Xemnas is Terra's body with Xehanort's memories making him both Terra and Xehanort's Nobody...from a certain point of view.
"I'm not talking about that here........That's for later."
When?
Also I'm personally hoping that 'Too Much Darkness OR Light is bad.' is followed up on in the next arc, and the next arc's villain(s) are Knights Templar for the Light.
Personally, I'd like if the next arc villain thought that Light was absolute good and targeted people like Riku, who uses darkness, or even people of nothingness like Roxas, Xion, etc.
Or heck, just bring back the concept of Nothingness they built up in Chain of Memories and KH2.
They technically already did that (horribly) with Xehanort at the last second.
@@AntiVillain26845 A little, I'm talking a whole game.
So effectively taking a Galeem VS Dharkon route
We do have the Lost Masters for the next saga.
The final boss Kingdom Hearts III you have to put that on the list and Sora vs Roxas I love this battle
11:20 Was this a JustaPancake reference? >:]
WAS THAT A MOTHERFLIPPING JUST A PANCAKE REFERENCE!
**MEGA DESTRUCTION DARK BALL OF DARKNESS AND DESTRUCTION**
And Knuckles
Considering you pumped out 4 or 5 videos this month as opposed to the normal 2 (at least for this channel), I'd say time off is well deserved
17:25
"Simple. Clean. BAM!"
Josh you sly fox...
Sköll Desperation Phase doesn’t instakill you if you run out of time. You just take a truckload of damage. Depending on how you’re doing in the fight it is often faster to let the attack connect.
Lol i had it connect twice my 1st time. Lessened the urgency after the 1st time
5:40 welp, at least they redeemed themselves for the 2.5 Remix
good list btw
EDIT: WOOOW You expressed my thoughts on Xehanort and the story perfectly. I 'll add this: in the BBS secret reports he says that he sees too much light as the problem, so that's a pretty blatant retcon for KH3
Ah, Kingdom Hearts bosses and Rules of Nature... I’m so glad to see you’re still doing that
10: JAEGER!
9: Definitely worth all the build up.
8: I expected this guy to show up, every other Kingdom Hearts Boss list I've seen has him on it.
7: Where was Sora during One More Day? He could have been a big help.
6: All we need is a freaking robot for Sora to get into and Kingdom Hearts would have become Evangelion in its first game.
5: I bet everyone had some heavy catharsis when they got to this fight (Also disappointed by the lack of the :D face when you mentioned mythology).
4: Basically the gold standard for brutal super bosses.
3: BURN BABY!
2: Predictable.
1: RULES OF NATURE!
My list
10. Rinzler (DDD)
9. Saix (KH3)
8. Ansem (KH1)
7. Xigbar (KH2)
6. Xemnas (KH2)
5. Anti Aqua (KH3)
4. Riku Ansem (KH1)
3. Terranort (BBS)
2. Roxas (KH2)
1. Xemnas, Ansem, and Young Xehanort (KH3)
Top 10 most memorable moments in KH series...no matter if good or bad.
Roxas is hard as all hell, especially the first ever time you fight him, but it doesn't make me rage like other hard bosses in KH. He's been through so much that you can't help but feel alright with letting him use you as a punching bag.
Also fun fact about the xeanort fight in his final faze where he's armorless you can skip the entire fight by using the stich summon on him which if done correctly will reduce his health to a womping 1hp which then allows you to do the finishing move and beating him in under 30 seconds , yea I think this was a major oversight considering he isn't the only boss who can be destroyed instantly by the summons
Shame I'll be taking a week long Internet absence to bypass April Fool's Day when this goes live.
Guess I'll have to come back to it when next Sunday.
Nice list. Personally, I was expecting the boss fight against the combo of Ansem, Xemnas and Young Xehanort in KH3. Still I enjoyed the list.
You know? Now that KHIII is out, I can safely say that the Hunchback world is in the wrong game and should've been in this one, instead.
Here's what things could've been like had it been this way :
You make it to Notre Dame as there is fire and Heartless everywhere. Sora looks up and sees Frollo do his thing and fall.
But as he falls, he curses everything and everyone in Paris, swearing that all the wicked ones deserve nothing but *darkness.*
As he says that, darkness starts covering him and, by the time he reaches the ground, there is no more Frollo, only a DEMON WHO CAME FROM THE DEEPEST PITS OF HELL ITSELF WHO THEN PROCEEDS TO START *BURNING PARIS!!!*
Cue the bossfight against Frollo's Heartless.
I cried when he mentioned about Roxas and his past! Like if you agree
My favorite boss in Kingdom Hearts is Sköll from KH3 in the Arendelle world. His design is awesome, he’s a pretty good challenging boss and his attack is basically dropping a sun sized ball of destruction onto you.
My favorite line from the Axel fight is: Come here, I´ll make it all stop.
It sounds both menacing and mercifull at the same time, like a friend who knows how much you are suffering but in a realistic way cannot stop, so he does the one thing he can do, try to end your misery.
The key thing to remember about the plot for kingdom hearts and why Sora and Xaonort have so many different variations of themselves is because they are both similar in one aspect. They both have another person‘s heart within them.
And with all the other different variations of Xaonort they all had their own wants but the end goal was still the same and it didn’t matter if sometimes those plans conflicted with each other and eliminated some members because they just start over again they were technically immortal so what does it matter if they had to restart a few times. And what did it matter how many more lives he would ruin.
Totally agree with Roxas as number 1. His boss fight was so conflicting, I felt terrible while fighting him.
Hey you should do a top 10 list of your favorite kingdom hearts allies (besides Donald and goofy)
During the sköll fight I ran away from everything when he became giant dark thing and it still gave me the reaction command
Starting off the list with Groundshaker? Insta-like. It's amazing not only for every reason you mentioned, but the sheer SCALE of it. It's a supersized behemoth that you fight while being half or less of your normal size. That is an absolutely massive difference, making toppling such a gargantuan monstrosity even more satisfying. One for the history books.
Xemnas' name is a mashup of Xehanort AND Ansem. It's pretty clever, actually.
It’s not. Its Ansem with an x added and then scrambled to make Xemnas
My best guess for Xehanort's ever changing motivations is he's just simpły full of shit. He just wants to remake the world in his image and is lying to everyone to convince them to do as he said, one way or another. And his final explanation in KH3, another lie to try and save his skin. And it worked.
That somehow made the dumb plot twist makes sense but I doubt that was intended at all
That wouldn’t seem too out of character for him.
...But he died.
So... not sure if its true, but ive heard that in the japanese version Xehanort says that after the world purge he would "guide everyone's destiny with a tyrannical fist" which fit better with his character and makes everything he had done not seem like he was an well intentioned extremist. Definitely makes his "I merely guided them (BBS trio fate of getting completely screwed)to their proper places" work better because that was his (as stated in 3) goal from the beginning. Controlling everyone, and if they tried to rebel against that, have a faceful of X-blade to learn their proper place (groveling at Xehanorts feet)
My favorite fight is against Dark Aqua. The tension, the music, and the fight were incredible and I loved the end of that fight. Bringing Aqua back home to the realm of light. I have waited years for that chance.
I love how I can follow Josh's rant during xemnas and his concerns are valid but I still think it can be explains when you use the power of fridge brilliance
xehanort's motivations, xemnas's personality, I think they were adjacent enough for me to believe it
1:22 i am the only one in the WORLD who kinda liked antlantica yes from KH1 i dident have a problem with it.
I'm kinda in the minority where I like both incarnations of atlantica. Maybe I'm tone deaf or something but I didn't mind the musical segments in kh2 atlantica
My only beef with KH1's Atlantica was that it takes a while since you need to clear out all the Heartless for the dolphin.
Sadly i only played the first game i was going to get the 2.5 but the store did not have it
@@GamingWarlord64
Keep looking and you'll find it.
Coincidentally, I was trying to beat the data organization on Critical Mode today. When fighting Roxas I thought “Wow, the Roxas battle might be my favorite boss battle of the series”. Awesome to see you placed him in #1!
Honestly surprised out of all the kingdom hearts 1 bosses that made it, Kurt Zisa was not it. He was easily the best fight in that game.
Agree
11:20 was that a fricking Justapancake reference?!
Indeed
The month started with Roxas, Axel, and Xemnas as the top 3, and it ends with Roxas, Axel, and Xemnas as the top 3.
Interior Crocodile Alligator Hah, nice!
Honestly, I just wanna give Roxas a hug after all the shit he's been through. He really deserved that happy ending in KH3
One of my favourite unsung bosses from Kingdom Hearts is Dark Aqua from 3. Sure she's not the most difficult, nor the most epic, but she's one of the few bosses that really displays her emotional state over the fight, kinda like the final fight with Xion. That one attack where a bunch of copies of her wander aimlessly is a perfect representation of how endless travels in the realm of darkness have changed her, to her various spell focused combos you used to play as suddenly being turned against you. It's a fight that really made me feel like I was bringing someone lost back to the light and there's few bosses in Kingdom Hearts that evoke such a feeling.
10. The perfect challenge for Simba and you
9. Everyone is giving it their all. I like that.
8. A true test of skill
7. Oh goodness yes
6. Lasers are the damned
5. This was cool (Get it?). But seriously, awesome battle. What's your opinion on Grim Guardianess and Dark Inferno (Given they share the theme with this)?
4. I hope I remember how to fight this guy...
3. The struggle is real (Get it?)!
2. That's a lot to take in but the battle is epic as always.
1. Poor guy...Roxas doesn't deserve all the crap he got.
In all reality every boss on this list should be from kh 2
In regards to the Arendelle level in KH3, I would recommend checking out Game Theory's video on it. Their theory on who the TRUE boss was meant to be REALLY makes the level a lot more interesting...
Beat kh3 on new game + (proud mode) and I can say with pride that I used the Oathkeeper for more tham 3/4 of my adventure.
Edit: For clarification, I beat it only within minutes of the original comment.
So, since I only got around to KHIII during the second half of my spring break, I actually haven’t faced either of the KHIII bosses on this list. Which hurts even more for the Arendale boss, since I stopped right before it with Monstropolis.
Also, while those boss segments were easy to skip, the number transitions were huge blindsiding spoilers. For shame, Josh, for shame.
I laughed a lot when John went rant berserk during Number, perfectly shows how fans feel on the retcons and KH story telling.
"mega destruction dark ball of darkness and destruction"
Phil Rytz ouchie ouch
@@emblemblade9245 you have to be an idiot to get hit by the mega destruction dark ball of darkness and destruction
*& Knuckles
My favorite is VS Saix in KH3.
Not just for the actual fight, for for what goes on around it, the triumphant return that happens, and the happy tears afterward.
Welcome back, Roxas and Xion.
I can understand liking the fight from a story perspective. Gameplay-wise, I always thought Saix was a little too repetitive.
At least, the remix version (PS3/PS4) of He's a Pirate is better than the original (PS2).
Josh, the reason Xehanort's nobody looks like that is because the nobody is the animated body left behind and Xehanort was possessing Terra's body.
The reason nobodies are considered as nonexistant is because as far as they've aware they have no emotions and will not have an afterlife if they die, as opposed to Heartless which respawn eventually if anything that isn't a Keyblade kills them, and the Keybkade frees them. The fact that their hearts regrow wa skept a secret.
As for Xehanort's motivations...ehh, I'll go with "The Dark side Will Make You Forget." Kind of like how it screwed with Riku in game 1 even before Xehanort's heartless got involved. And that's not to mention all the Voldemort levels of self experimentation and mutilation he did to his own heart and body probably screwing with memory and the brain in general.
Xemnas is still in my opinion, the best final boss of the series. Final Xheonort was a bit underwhelming. I also don't like the music. To me, it sounds messy and synthetic and it's becouse it was not composed by Yoko Shimimora. I promise you that if they update the game to a theme that Yoko makes it would be infinitely better.
#1 RULES OF NATURE
Boss Roxas is so awesome, even his Re:Coded fight is good.
Please review the Fatal Frame games. Also, I completely agree with everything Josh says about Roxas.
Best bosses in Kingdom Hearts series: nearly every boss in Kingdom Hearts 2. They are just amazing. Especially the data organization battles!
Yup.
Only bad ones are Data Demyx and Data Luxord.
Swordking X4 yea I agree. Those types of bosses become a game of chance instead of skill
GIANT MEGA DESTRUCTION DARK BALL OF DARKNESS AND DESTRUCTION
AND KNUCKLES
Thanks for the month of really great countdowns Josh!
I know you probably don’t want to even think about kingdom hearts for a year, I would totally be up for a video specifically on Kingdom hearts story. Maybe a year from now.
1:20 IS THAT A MOTHERFLIPPIN' JUST A PANCAKE REFERENCE?
Nice to know my fav KH3 boss is his fav KH3 boss hehe. Yeah I was loving that Wolf fight too Josh.
I never played KH2 Final mix, so I never got to fight Roxas. Needless to say I am kind of glad I didn't because fighting Roxas would have torn me up inside. So my Fav Boss fight is your #2. That was epic!
I love the choice of bosses. Ill admit, fighting roxas brought me to tears
Actually when I did the boss fight against the seeker of darkness in the first kingdom hearts game with V1.5 HD remix on the PS3, there must’ve been a glitch in my copy because there were a few times I died and instead of being taken all the way back to the beginning of the fight I was left right where I left off which was wonderful :-) especially like I said considering that I am a girl who is partially blind the pitch black room is just weren’t going to do it for me!
Damn, I HATE Sephiroth! I can't beat him no matter how much I try
When you think about its probably why Roxas is so aggressive as a boss, especially in his data battle.
I can see a little bit of me in him, the play-style of hit first & win the fight.
Which makes it more feelsy since his AI is similar to me, to which this was one of those fights where I had to play on the defensive. It was en emotional ride after watching 358/2 days, and I could only feel a small rush of passion after finally putting him down.
Let's be honest, the Riku fight in Days was the best (and only good) one.
I love all the dragon ball z abridged references. Nice throwback to some older episodes
Actually, you can survive the giant dark Madara meteor of death. First time I played, I didnt beat all enemies and I healed at last second, making me survive with a bit of HP. Its not insta death like Demyx.
The Sephiroth theme song gives me flashbacks to trying to beat him in KH2 during the one summer my brother let me borrow his copy.
The satisfaction of finally doing it was IMMEASURABLE
Fiery joker that was a damn good list, I especially love the jokes you're did, from Sam and Max a Devils play house to total drama action and even......RULES OF NATURE!!!!!!
SKOLL is a pretty Wickid Fight. Also josh their as SOOOOOO MANY RULES OF NATURE MOMENTS IN DMC5
So here are my top ten bosses:
10. Gigabyte Mantis
9. Dark Hide
8. Master Eraques Armor
7. Symphony Master
6.Skoll
5. Terranort
4. Anti-Aqua
3. Wargoryle Riku Side
2.Lingering Will
1.Xenmas (KH2)
I'd Knew Axel made the list and I'd actually remembered playing Kingdom Hearts 2
A good end to Kingdom Hearts month! Well done Josh! Rest well, you have earned it. 👍
15:48 - 18:05 geez he talk a lot that long i just died laughing
I'm shocked that you didn't include Anti-Aqua on the list
11:17 or perhaps his wolf-GANG budumtum tish. Sorry I'll se myself out
How do you feel about Kingdom Hearts Union Cross ? It's on tablets .
Groundshaker is also great because it shows just how freaking evil Scar was that his Heartless turned into that monster upon death.
I thought that final xehanort was better than xemnas
I feel like the replica xehanorts before Final Xehanort could've been an excellent boss if they were fought in a more clearly-defined space and had more blatantly telegraphed attacks as well as a more clearly-defined individuality aside from weaponry.
Like the Vanitas Replica summons little Floods if you don't interrupt him, the Ansem Replica uses some of No Hearts martial arts move, the Xemnas replica does his sick ballerino moves, that sort of thing.
Also Xemnas is indeed mostly Terra's nobody; He has vague inclinations towards treasuring memories with Aqua and Ventus as friends (Even if the second one got retconned into just being all-in on Xehanort's shit, I am 100% behind you on how bloated this fucking plot has gotten with obvious retcons and forgotten threads.) and keeps Aqua's armor in a personal study.
You know, with Skoll, you don't actually insta-die if the dark sun crashes into the ground when the timer runs out...
But you do take a TONNE of damage!
Believe me, I had it happen to me during a Lv.1 run I was doing of the game... It was brutal.
11:20-11:23 ...& Knuckles.
OK I believe you.
No Phantom Aqua?
Okay...
Just a quick top 5 bosses from me:
5: Marluxia - Re:Chain of Memories: His multiple forms and eerily beautiful themes in Graceful Assassin and Lord of the Castle make him very memorable for me.
4: Demyx - Yes I did find him a very frustrating boss, but I like how it showcases Demyx's character. He is skilled at fighting, but he doesn't like to "I can be imposing when I wanna be. Which admittedly is... almost never."
3: Lingering Will - For reasons stated, this is very memorable secret boss that actually tests you. It also begs the question: has Terra's separated will been training alone all those years? Cuz he could not do any of that stuff in BBS
2: Roxas (KH2): All I gotta say is, I'm glad he can finally catch a break with all his old new friends.
1: Xemnas (KH2): The ending of KH2 holds a special place in my heart as what I believe to be the best ending the series should have had. Due in no small part to Xemnas. The boss isn't terribly hard, but you still feel the weight behind it, fighting the true mastermind (at the time). Add on Sora fighting alongside his bff Riku, along with the conclusion that follows, and you have a truly amazing ending to a game with so much payoff.
I am a bit surpriced that none of boss fights from so called "pre-quel" to Kingdom Heart 1 (the one with Aqua, Ventus and Terra as main characters) got into the list. Surely Aqua vs Terranort in their final confrontation was both very challenging and satisfying. (Also, I take it that fight to free Aqua is considered a honorable mention, considering it is as cover in between each bossfight).
I know that I was supposed to be reading what the editor was typing but I just kept agreeing with Josh's rant.
Tyler Witt That’s the fun of it lol
You made Anti-Aqua the number transition scene.
You're really trying my patience Joshua.
Just my opinion, but the Nort Court should have been on this list. Fighting Ansem, Young Xehanort, and Xemnas at the same time with the sound tracks of all three fights mixed together was a amazing.
WRONG DARKNESS!!!
Darkness: **Yelps in pleasure... She's a masochist, okay?!**
... Oh, boy. That's just... Darkness.
Ew, good list but cringe video
