We love rice pudding and this is a good old fashioned rice pudding recipe. Use leftover rice and mix it with some eggs, milk, spices, bake it and it is ready to go. We love this easy recipe and hope you give it a try.
Here is another rice pudding recipe: it’s a stovetop cheesecake rice pudding recipe. Super simple and delicious.

You can also cook it on top of the stove, I think it's more creamy when you cook it. I suspect cooking it is more old fashioned because at one time people did a lot of cooking over an open fire. When you cook it on top of the stove you have to keep siring it so it doesn't burn or scald.

This is a good Rice Pudding recipe. I like using leftover rice because it is creamy or cook the rice in milk and not water. May I suggest to always buy a GOOD Cinnamon, not just any ol' Cinnamon. Vietnamese Cinnamon is what I saw and bought and the flavor is over the top. Buy the whole Nutmeg and grate it. The whole Nutmeg lasts 100 years on the shelf.
Thanks for including the recipe in the description below 🥰

Just be careful with anything other than Ceylon cinnamon (which is the true cinnamon and much less spicy while being much more healthful). The problem with the spicy cinnamon (which is REALLY cassia) is that it is toxic if you eat too much of it. I actually prefer that you call the "good" cinnamon for flavor, but it is NOT the cinnamon that it touted for health benefits. (And the "good" cinnamon is also MUCH cheaper than the true cinnamon.)

I grew up with rice pudding made by my German grandma and we would have homemade rice pudding at school once a month. I have seen a lot of recipes because I like trying different variations but I have never seen directions to stir it while it cooks. It's a custard, you don't stir baked custard, you don't even open the oven door while it's baking. If you have the correct ratio of rice to custard it won't separate. He had way too much liquid for the rice he used. This wasn't rice pudding it was custard with rice and raisins. I think that's why he didn't give us a good look at the finished product because I'm sure there was a layer or rice at the bottom with a layer of custard on top. His recipe would work if he used uncooked rice.
