They came out at the decline of hair metal, and they were more than that, but got thrown in with it and went down with it. They are being rediscovered by the younger crowd. Seems to happen every four or five years, lol.

You guys should check out The Last Mile by Cinderella that is one of my favorite songs from Cinderella. Or their power ballad I'm coming home. I'm Coming Home brings a tear to my eye when I listen to it. I don't know why? It just does. Probably the lyrics of the song or how it's sung?Luca just woke up to this excitement, he is probably disoriented from the nap? Doesn't know what is going on? Lol. But he is getting big. I am happy he is walking now, but he is probably more of a handful for you guys, I remember when my son first started getting around on his own walking, well my kid waddled in his pampers more than walked.. He used to get into everything his fat chubby baby hands could reach. I never got a time to relax when he was on the go in the house. Lol. Good times.

The next day I was going into one of the casinos, and Tom was sitting on a bench outside. I said hello and told him how much I loved the concert. He told me to sit down. We talked for about 10 minutes about music. As I was leaving he asked me what my favorite Cinderella song was, I told him, “The Last Mile”. He gave me a big smile and a thumbs up. Love this one! Great Call! Cinderella was a fun live band with lots of emotion and vigor in those songs. There is a great live performance of Nobody's Fool that they did at the Big Moscow Music Peace Festival - was the first Monster's of Rock Show ever allowed in the Soviet Union before it changed Names to the Russian Federation way back in like 1987 even before the Berlin Wall came down a few years later. They had Ozzie, Bon Jovi, Poison, and all the greats over three days at Moscow's Olympic Stadium. The second day there a new band Cinderella took the stage and just blew the Audience away - realize the audience doesn't speak any English and they have never seen Rock Banks Live due to Censorship in Russia - and had never heard of Cinderella. The Audience absolutely loved this song and the heart that Cinderella performed it with, and did they ever love this performance. I've seen interviews of Tom Keifer the lead singer of Cinderella who said this was one of the most Significant Performances of their Career - they are still loved throughout Russia to this day because of that performance - I have the link to it for you ua-cam.com/video/PvvHlRgn7Xo/v-deo.html. It's really intense and a real piece of history. Love you both and enjoy! This is a Great Band! And also check out the details of the Moscow Peace Festival Wikipedia - Amazing Bands played there and was huge!

Especially when u realize these folks have never heard of this bans, don't speak English and really have never seen a Rock Concert due to Soviet Government Censorship - but this was under Gorbachev who began opening up the Soviet Union or USSR as it was known before the Russian Federation as it I'd today.

It’s pretty cool that you did Cinderella and Bon Jovi together. I had the pleasure of seeing those two bands together on the Slippery When Wet tour, many years ago. Cinderella opened up and put on a great show! Everything you see in the Bon Jovi videos was what we witnessed live! The pyro, the glam, the cable wire: all of it! I was fortunate to have seen them 5 times in concert, the first, back on June 27th, 1989 in Columbus, Georgia. The bands "Winger" and the "Bullet Boys" opened for them at that show. The ticket was just $15.00. My most recent concert with them was on July 26th, 2011 when they played The Fillmore in Charlotte, North Carolina. That ticket was only $25. Crazy!

A Cinderella song that I think you two will love is "Long Cold Winter." It's not an uptempo one like "Gypsy Road" but is an electric blues that'll show off Tom's vocals, blues guitar, and will scratch that blues itch for ya. I couldn't find any live versions with decent audio so I'd suggest sticking to the album version for the best experience.

This really takes me back to when I was in my early 20s and into the entire metal scene: getting albums from various bands on cassette tape, listening to KNAC 105.5 FM in Southern California (THE metal station), checking out and sometimes even buying Metal Edge, Hit Parader, Circus, and Rip magazines at the 7-Eleven to see what was going on in the world of hard rock and heavy metal, wearing concert tour t-shirts, jean jackets with band patches and buttons on them, fingerless black leather gloves, mirrored aviator sunglasses, leather bracelets with spikes on them, skull rings, black leather boots, jeans (of course; and doing your own ripping with a box cutter, none of this pre-ripped silliness), smoking Marlboros and occasionally getting wasted on a six pack of Miller Genuine Draft after a long week at work, hanging out with sketchy people who also loved the music, waiting in line to buy tickets to the next big gig at Irvine Meadows or the LA Sports Arena or some other venue at Music Plus or another record store (and having friendly arguments about whether Lemmy and Ozzy were gods or not), and going to the clubs on the Sunset Strip in Hollywood to check out some up and coming bands... those were some wild days.

I hope you appreciated the fact that they recorded this video in Yucatan and featured Mayan pyramids and other ruins. As an archaeologist, I *do* cringe a bit when he's drumming on the stelae and they're sliding down that small pyramid's side, but ah well, they ARE rock and rollers after all. Also, unrelated to the song, your little one is adorable! You are such a lovely family! Keep on keeping on! 😀

I was lucky enough to catch them in 2012 in a club in my hometown. I took my husband with me who had heard some songs here and there so didnt know much and let's just saw that he says that's the best concert he has ever been to. We've seen kiss , def leppard , motley crue, etc.. and he chooses that cinderella concert everytime. Our ears were ringing for weeks after.

I have seen Cinderella and Tom Keifer solo several times. They never disappointed. This song is one of their greats. The album Long Cold Winter has so many great songs. Bad Seamstress Blues/Fallin' Apart At The Seams kicks the album off with a bang. If You Don't Like It and Last Mile are a couple of my other faves. Shelter Me, Heartbreak Station and Sick For The Cure are ones to check out from the third album. The first album has greats along with newer stuff too.
