    Fun fact, since the "Amazon Best Selling" tag is given for the best selling product in that category. Most small companies put their tech products in super obscure categories so even a small amount of sales will get them the "Best Selling" badge.

    1: The desk has probably gotten to that best seller stage thanks in part to Kyle here using 2 of them in his home setup and videoing it. 2: I am surprised that the best seller webcam isn't the C920 considering ever streamer seems to use that particular webcam

    • @crisscrossam
      @crisscrossam 2 роки тому +8

      it might be right behind the one in the video, i wouldn't be surprised. the one in the video is more budget friendly and we all know that cheaper = more sales even if it's worth the 20 bucks upgrade a lot of people just wanna be able to record at all and don't need that much high quality if they keep their webcam feed in the corner of the video frame.

    • @GoneGYT
      @GoneGYT 2 роки тому

    • @wrob08
      @wrob08 2 роки тому +10

      The webcam probably has nothing to do with streaming. Think how many streamers there are and then how many people who started working from home due to the pandemic. I know I have a NexiGo, though I don't believe it's this exact model, just because it had a cover and was in stock when I was trying to buy it. Be careful with the chair. I had one that it's based on. It's usually hard on the back because it's typically unlevel, and it peels pretty quickly. You also can't remove the pump from the base once it's used, so if you want to fix it by re-mounting it, may the odds be ever in your favor. As for the Sceptre monitor, it's not state of the art but it's actually pretty great. The 75 Hz refresh rate is native, and I don't have a single dead pixel out of four of them. Another major plus for them is they have absolutely not backlight strobing, so they're epilepsy friendly. They instead use MEMC, and it's pretty damn solid. I enjoy gaming on them. For any who may interested in good budget gaming monitors, try to focus on the same style of VESA mount as he got because these aren't compatible with most. Though they're 100 mm, it's a matter of pressure on the rear of the display. Get VESA mounts with a bit of a dip. This is because the mount overlaps the stand mount. You need a little gap to adjust for the stand mount.

    If anyone is looking for a great bang for your buck desk I would definitely check Craigslist or Offerup. I snagged a giant IKEA desk with a 32" depth and metal frame in great shape for free because someone was moving and they didn't have the room for it. Probably my favorite desk I've ever owned and it was completely free and looks to be barely used. Definitely keep your eyes open, especially if you have a truck or SUV to haul stuff in.
    Another one I've owned in the past that was awesome was the Tribesigns for just over $100. It comes with a metal frame and is a very sturdy desk. I hate when a desk has any flex to it. I should be able to slam my fist on it out of frustration and hurt my hand lmao. Seriously though a lot of the $100 Amazon desks are pretty flimsy. Pay attention to the dimensions of the table. Get a thick tabletop and metal legs and you should be good to go.

    I have the Logitech G502 and it is great! I use it with the Logitech powerplay mousepad. It charges the mouse constantly and doubles as the receiver for the mouse.
    Edit: I have the Logitech G502 Lightspeed wireless.

    that's quite a good setup, but I wouldn't recommend a 1080p screen at 27". I've had one and I could clearly see the pixel grid, especially in games that used a less textured, cartoony art style like Life is Strange.

    I got the same mount for my screen, one problem with mine is I needed to use the longer bolts and a pair of spacers per bolt because II got a YEYIAN ODRAZ 2001 27", which is similar in design to the scepter most of the "hardware" is in the lower back hump, but on the yetian it slopes on the side closest to the top of the monitor. rubber spacer on the monitor side, nut on the inner, and a washer to keep the bolt head from slipping off.

    Does that pouch for your gaming laptop power brick have a good air flow? Or does it hold in the heat from the power brick? The power brick for my Lenovo Legion 5i with the GTX 1660ti and the I7-10750H is always EXTREMELY hot. Even sitting out in the open. I normally run a ceiling fan just to get some airflow in my gaming room and it helps keep the brick from scorching temps..

    I was looking at these CubiCubi desks to replace my IKEA Linnmons, good to know they can handle an arm. I'm planning on getting two for an L setup and to mount my two 27" Gigabyte monitors. On the Linnmons and with the stands the displays came with, I have very little room left for my keeb and mouse. Also not much room for my PS5, Series S, and PC all on the desk together. Right now I can barely fit my PS5, PC, and both monitors. Which is why I currently have no speakers lol.
