People can spend their money on whatever they like. I have an Ikea lamp, but also an expensive office chair :) My initial comment was only meant to critizise the fact that a large piece of MDF, couple of metal legs and a simple electric motor somehow cost 1000 $, for which you can get e.g. a very good computer or TV for.
Ah the dream desk I will never have! It's funny when they first made a desk I was on chat to them asking them a few things and said this would be the perfect desk if it was a sit/stand...now here we are haha That sponsor, had me in stitches btw, need more of that, or these two lol
@Ian Visser One of the safety challenges from that kind of approach is you'd need to figure out a way to make sure everything moves at exactly the same speed. Otherwise you get gaps opening up between sections, which them close and potentially remove fingers. You'd also need to make sure motors are aligned so everything stops in the same places. Not impossible, but will add a fair bit of expense.
@Ian Visser I do believe a lot of powered desks have a daisy chain system for the legs and making an L shape desk shouldn't be the hardest thing if you just bought two sets of legs and an extra cable.
@Ian Visser Or just add encoders and follow the actual position of the legs instead of guessing how much they've traveled. Most manufacturers probably do this already . There also are desks that have a third leg in the same system. The only calibration needed is the initial zeroing where the legs are set to their shortest position. All of my electric desks have already had daisy chained legs. There's on controller connected to one leg. Then the second leg is connected to the first leg and power. Most of those systems wouldn't care if you added a third leg in the middle of that chain as long as they had enough power to run.
I feel so betrayed. i bought a good height adjustable table for 800 bucks like 2 years ago.. and now something like this exists. Wont upgrade now but the advantages are definetly there! Maybe my girl can have my desk someday and ill upgrade..

Surely, it definetely is a preference thing, and sitting will kill you eventually, but people are also lazy by nature.
Secondly, you do not know where or how I live, so don't pretend to. I do not have space to have any more shelves nearby and a huge desk with only dust under it is a huge waste of space in a tiny apartment.
I also didn't say that people shouldn't buy this desk.
I've got one of these on pre-order, so seeing everyone like it so much is very encouraging.
I feel like Dennis is just a man who lives life always saying yes to his impulsive thoughts.
I love DBrand so much! That ad was the best I've seen in years.
Ah the dream desk I will never have!
It's funny when they first made a desk I was on chat to them asking them a few things and said this would be the perfect desk if it was a sit/stand...now here we are haha
That sponsor, had me in stitches btw, need more of that, or these two lol
I think you all just found GOLD! This duo needs filming and contracts immediately
If there was an L-extension for this, I would buy it right now. Sadly, it appears that only the non-standing version has such an add-on.
12:25 amazing final thought dennis thank you
LMAO
I like how they don't mention that the computer mount prevents the cables from being pulled when you lower and raise the desk
Problem with the mount is it wouldnt fix tower cases (full tower). I wouldnt try to put my 719 on that thing.
Quite possibly because that is, for most people, the only reason to buy the mount? lol
Why is that something you like?
Every video with Denis in it is automatically 10x better xD
Please keep him forever!
I feel so betrayed. i bought a good height adjustable table for 800 bucks like 2 years ago.. and now something like this exists. Wont upgrade now but the advantages are definetly there!
Maybe my girl can have my desk someday and ill upgrade..
Why does the release of new things leave you feeling betrayed?🤔
@@SupraSav His girlfriend probably feels betrayed being given his older crappier desk
@@SupraSav It references themself. As in if they had just waited and got something a little cheaper they could of then gotten this. But because they spent so much on the desk they have it would be a waste to buy this now. They feel betrayed at themself.
@@TeraAFK imagine getting a thing for free and feeling betrayed for that
I bought my motorized desk stand on aliexpress for $250, free shipping.
This has been the best video out from ltt and lmg, and this is a desk I need.
Coltan and Dennis are embodiment of chaotic good
The chemistry betwixt these three made this video fly by. New fan, subbed. I can't wait until you guys review Project Sophia.
This desk is beyond awesome and I loved Dennis and Colton. The team up we never knew we needed. If you want to check out another desk with a similar design philosophy, have a look at what @wyrmwood is doing with their modular sit stand desk. A completely different vibe but still really cool!!
Thanks for looking at the desks, and I always love seeing my brethren Dennis ❤
The struggles are real lining up the magnetic mat straight and even
Denis is by far my favorite! Every video with him is so hilarious!😂
Colton and Dennis, the dynamic duo
Are you sure this wasn't a channel super fun video? Colton flipping upside was gold.
This makes me wish I could afford nice things like this desk.
Hope someday you do mate.
Idk your situation but what I can say is you can most definitely get this desk.... Even if you can't get it immediately you could save for it! But never count yourself out .
the cut to the ad was so funny and random😂😂this duo entertains frr
I dunno where they found Dennis but he's quickly becoming the best part of LLT media
Dennis been here for years at this point
Mine comes in this week I'm freaking pumped right now glad a video popped up so I can see it
Dennis is such a gem to this world
I love Dennis, cracks me up everytime he's on screen
Give Dennis and Colton more screen time!
Wyrmwood is coming out with a beautiful wooden sit stand desk with accessories on kickstarter on October 18th. They are looking like the most beautiful desks ever.
Honestly the price is very reasonable and the cable management looks very impressive.
Yes, the magnetic and hinged cable management looks really nice. I agree with Colton on the headphone bracket though - that should be affixed better.
It’s been crazy to hear Denis’ English improve so much from when he first started. Not to mention he’s a treasure ❤️
Dennis is one of those people that need adult supervision 110% of the time
Quite impressive finding the two employees in the company that are more vertically challenged then Linus to do this unpacking.
Put them next to a big mac and it will look like a mountain of food
