I swear if I ever were married to a woman like Eva Green she'd get sick of me always asking her to just talk to me. Read a book, tell me about her day, recite the dictionary, I don't care; just the sound of that voice is so calming it feels like being in a safe place.

Maaaaannn, look at Mr. Craig. Looking like a baby in this film. And just to think, I was just 15 years old when this film first came out. Now I'm around the age he was in this film (a good couple of years younger but still).
A Sharp Bond of my time.
    Thanks Vesper.

I have always love this film because it shows the evolution of James Bond to 007. At the beginning he's not double 0, makes mistakes that almost got him fired, doesn't dress well, until he gets his first significant assignment and meets Vesper. At the end of the film, his transition is complete, he truly is James Bond 007 and it ends with the main Bond theme. Absolutely perfect!

The buildup of James and Vesper's relationship is paced so well in Casino Royale. Loved him and Madeline together in Spectre too but the buildup just felt too rushed and inorganic. It took me out completely when Madeline went from "Touch me and I'll kill you" to "I love you James" in the span of just a few days lol

Casino Royal was the first to introduce us to a bruising Bond. Even Sean Connery was not that physical. In between, they were more of smooth operators... Craig has his smooth moments too, but combining with his bruising style makes him the best Bond. I had the urge to hit the gym immediately after watching Casino Royal, but that only lasted a couple days 🙂.

Educated in the Confucian tradition, phan Boi Gu 1867- 1940) was one such nationalist.
