Oh wow the quality of the animated drawing is unbelievable, it is so rich in meaningful details, well defined characters and realistic behaviors. No surprise kids were better raised in those days than anything after WWII to today.
Innocent pretend time for children...what a novel concept. I'm old enough to have similar memories like this before media-centered electronic gadgets got in the way of kids having fun with one another.

Why were the japanese always interested in human looking animals? I thought this was a late trend with those kawaii vomit anime sh!t, but it seems they were into them long before anime.
What do you think mickey mouse and bugs bunny are, man? Everyone likes those things, especially in old animation since they were more cartoony, easier to make look right

MrKenichi22 In the days of tinplate trains many manufacturers made trains that could do that.
Lessons in etiquette and being considerate of other people. People should watch this just to learn empathy.

Great video. My very first Christmas present that I remember was a train set that my dad while at sea sent me.

Those sweet kids, I hope they survived the war relatively unscathed but I know that may be wishful thinking. This was a fascinating watch regardless!
Amazing music
Charming and very polite. The expressions on the passenger’s faces are sharply observed.
the background music sounds like something straight from a pokemon game. awesome!
