1. Become aware of the emotion and its sensations in your body
2. Name the emotion
3. Accept the emotion. Dont deny or push it away.
4. Remember the emotion will eventually pass.
5. Figure out what made you feel this way.
6. Let go of the need to control the emotion. Be open to the outcome and what unfolds.
