You did a nice job on the exhaust sorry to hear about grandpa my brother has a 69 amc rambler american that made 700 on a little 406 we put on 3.5'' exhaust with 8'' blow through bullet mufflers it is louder than my open headers and he street drives it a little he has been asked by police twice if it has mufflers and they let him go have a great day kid be safe.
