Gentlemen, thank you so much for taking the time to go through all these intakes and share all the detailed feedback on each one; really brilliant resource and all I needed to know to make a decision on which one to buy.
This is an excellent video. Thank you for taking the time to make this comparison. I know it takes quite a bit of work and time out of the day(s) to get all of this testing done, and I'm really glad you guys addressed and discussed the testing conditions and IATs.
I enjoyed the video and do appreciate the time you all invested in making this for us. Only recommendation I have is to put measures in place to remove as many variables as possible. More specifically, control the time that the car cools down between each run for the intakes. If an install is faster/longer than control the time difference. Yes, I do know this would add to the invested time but do believe will contribute to data accuracy. Thank you again for the video. I’ll be moving forward with PRL.
@@ArigatoMatto beats me, in their youtube short on their official channel they said late 2024, though idk if things have changed Honestly kinda annoying cuz its the one mod i really wanna do before anything else lol
@@ShaiyanHossainI have been waiting on their short shifter for the FE1 for years now and they said “soon” forever ago. Acuity is a bit slow on product development IMO
@@wildairsoft1 ive heard the short shifter drops in January, but yeah it's a bit late given hybrid racing already has their full kit out for a while now
Intake hp/tq gains and sounds seem to be what’s commonly reviewed. It’d be great to see a test on how well the filters..filter. Might get great gains, but doesn’t do any good if the filtration sucks (hence allowing more air)..as dirty air will def impact life of an engine.
Good tests, Eventuri is great because there's always a demand in the used market for them. I had one on my FK2 for 3 years and after 3 years still managed to get a huge chunk back selling it on! Gruppe M ive had on the fk2 n fk8 but they over complicate it and its like a puzzle putting it together.
On the PRL - looks like you didn’t install the rubber gasket from the OEM air box in the close up images. It would possibly do a little better with it, as without it it will suck in some of the hot air in the engine bay. Mine sits in customs as we speak waiting to get the clearance. Can’t wait to install it.
This was solely down to time restraints as we were swapping them over straight after each intake. We also missed it out on the Infinity Design (day 1).
Welcome to Canada 🇨🇦 Eh!!! 😅😅😅 I wish I was close by to meet up with you guys… seems like all you journalist from the states are in Montreal for the unveil 🤘🏿right On
I have the prl in my fk8 and for the price you couldnt go wrong, you could still buy and intercooler with the money left in your pocket compared with that gruppe m intake😂
I recently removed my K&N drop in on my 8th gen civic si. I usually reset the ECU whenever I swap a part. Are these all on a base map or...? Love the videos regardless!✌🏼
They are obviously in England and Not in California. Just check in with your Communist Owners to see if they grant you permission to upgrade their car. 😂😂😂.
We have since overlaid the stock graph with the Ramair graph and there's plenty more power being made in the mid-range. In terms of value for money and the noise that it gives, it's awesome!
After 5 runs, they ALL lose power. All are hot air intakes. Can't escape heat-soak! Did I miss the dyno run with the K&N drop in filter with stock airbox😂 Nice chest on the guy in grey 😂
Thank you guys for the huge effort of making this test comparison. Big thumbs up
Thanks for watching!

Nice video. Thanks for putting this together. I’m sure this will help lots of people with their choices.
I personally chose the PRL.
Thank you for watching!
great work guys, thanks for going through the ringer to get this done
Great test - many thanks for taking the time !
great test guys! waiting on the Acuity intake to drop now before I pull the trigger haha
When is it coming?

Thanks, guys.
Great effort.
It really good that you kept it in one video I know UA-cam pays less and you could had stretch it out.
Amazing video and review. Nice one!

Any info about this ?
@@ryanrudolf10you don’t need sources. This is simple physics.
Thank you for this content ❤❤❤❤
PRL for the fit/finish and gains for the price
one of the best content out there.
Thank you! Awesome video
love my GruppeM

Some copium right here, prl has horrible qc and are not well engineered products

What's different between Gruppem and blitz intake air?
Thank you.
Can you do a comparison of all the different springs next? That would be amazing
I wounded what the spoon drop in will do compared to k&n🤔

Great test, can you make a picture of Eventuri and Infinity together? So the same as you do with Infinity Design and GruppeM (Day 2) 🙂
Is the car running a stock tune with these intakes ?
Yes, it is.
PRL did good and my choice. FK8 and FL5
Should've tried the spoon one
please test intercooler from WAGNER TUNING for FL 5
Thanks for this test, one question, ive just picked up my own fl5, awesome car! Do the intake kits affect the manufacturs warrenty?, Thanks again.
Thanks for watching. RE manufacturers warranty, we suggest speaking to your local Honda dealer to find out.
You guys should try to put in the drop in k&N filter first before you do the stock drop in filter
I have the prl in my fk8 and for the price you couldnt go wrong, you could still buy and intercooler with the money left in your pocket compared with that gruppe m intake😂
For the money the PRL is a bargain imo
I recently removed my K&N drop in on my 8th gen civic si. I usually reset the ECU whenever I swap a part. Are these all on a base map or...? Love the videos regardless!✌🏼
Yes, all the tests were performed on the base map
No afe?
Unfortunately it hadn't been released when we filmed this video.
I would never spend £1700 for a intake but the EVENTURI is probably the one.
Any of these carb legal?
Unfortunately we are unsure, it would be best to check with the manufacturers if you have any concerns
They are obviously in England and Not in California. Just check in with your Communist Owners to see if they grant you permission to upgrade their car. 😂😂😂.
None of them are CARB compliant
Damn I didn’t think my ramair was going to be so bad.
We have since overlaid the stock graph with the Ramair graph and there's plenty more power being made in the mid-range. In terms of value for money and the noise that it gives, it's awesome!
The power is made from a bigger exhaust from the turbo back. Stock airfilter is good enough unless you swap out the turbo waste of time
£1700 for a induction kit is an absolute joke
Welcome to modern cars for you
1700 of bling bling without adding much HP
jdm tax
50 grand for the car...
Ultimate lean test. Anything pre turbo that flows more that's not tuned melts pistons and rings
After 5 runs, they ALL lose power.
All are hot air intakes.
Can't escape heat-soak!
Did I miss the dyno run with the K&N drop in filter with stock airbox😂 Nice chest on the guy in grey 😂
those carbon ones are silly money and not even that much better
The carbon ones won't hold the heat like the others.
