I struggle to even put in words how genious Braintap is. IT REALLY does do what it says it does. May sound unbelievable, it isn't. Thank you so much Dr. Porter, I cried in the middle of my second session.

I find the technology extremely helpful and makes the audio files MUCH more effective. As for Rob’s comment questioning the quality, I started out with the original system (Voyager) in 1993 and it is still operational today...that’s 23 years later.

    Hi Cody
You haven't talked about Braintap for a while. You didn't include it in your 2023 fave brain awards.
Is there a reason for this?
    Thanks

BrainTap Technologies is phenomenal! I find it much easier to relax and let go during meditation with the headset then I do without it. I love the wide variety of meditations to choose from. I particularly like the Consciousness series as there are many meditations that connect & opens up the flow of my creativity. The Sleep Deep and Awaken Recharged is my favorite when traveling & I have also had success with the smoking cessation series.

I have been using the braintap for many years and as a mind & body coach I advise all the athletes I coach to use it for mental rehearsal and affirmations. It's an awesome tool for personal development.

It just looks like a proprietary audiostrobe. I'd prefer the old tech, though it might be hard to find, plus there would be no Bluetooth connectivity.

I'd love to see a direct comparison of this to the roXiva lamp. Do you know if all research trials for braintap are done with this model? Or is a "stronger" model used for those studies?

I bought Braintap Pro a couple weeks ago, it was a massive spend but I was curious. I got caught out by excessive postage at the last minute of purchase to get it to the UK, but I really wanted to try it.... I was absolutely enjoying the sessions, very relaxing, like having two people inside yr head, talking over eachother with their dreamy American accents, telling you what to think, thus reprogramming your brain, while being in a brightly flickering and relaxing safe space.....A brain washing, but in a good way!
Then after nearly a week, my headset broke! So I have to disagree, the headset is most certainly NOT good quality. The cover had fallen off the ear piece, exposing a huge battery inside! They said not to worry the feeling of warming ears, after all, there are lights in the earpiece. But we all know its not good to hold our mobile phones close to our ears dont we, we"ve all felt "the burn" right??
The battery was such a tight fit and the clip in connectors had disconnected, so trying to gently reconnect them, the wires totally came out and now cannot be fixed, rendering the headset totally USELESS........
I take good care of my belongings, this especially as it was soooo expensive, so to get less than a weeks use out of it when I was really enjoying it was really disappointing.............. Im awaiting their reply to see what they will do about it but I think I will probably have to ask for a refund as Im not confident a replacement will stand the test of time, and Im not keen on the battery earburn.......................
Even though the general experience was good, unfortunately the design and quality lets it down and leaves room for improvement, as I dont fancy risking a brain tumour.......... I really hope the company will take note and do something.

      What in up happened?

    • @LittleMiska31
      @LittleMiska31 6 місяців тому

@@PP-ec6cw I complained weekly then daily for 4 months! It was too expensive to let it go. I found an email address for Dr Porter and said I would make it very public re the poor quality and customer service as it was doing the exact opposite of what its supposed to do- causing enormous stress and frustration ..... At that point the UK rep at last got in touch with me and agreed to send a replacement. Im so glad because over all I find the system hugely beneficial for my positivity.
Such a shame the customer service is SO poor. I love the led lights but I bought a basic set of headphones (that dont need charging) if I listen more than once a day as it does concern me having a battery right on my ear with EMFs etc...... Hope this helps : )

I've used this with thousands of my clients its a game changer. Does everything he says plus more. If you got a headache it means your brain is in a stressed state and you need to start slower without the lights and just use sound sessions until your brain gets into a more balanced state. This is like a workout for the brain so just like workouts if you're in bad shape and try to lift Arnold weights right away you're going to have side effects.
