I have an 07 m109r, I can say that top-end speed on mine is 140 mph, only because it’s governed for that speed. I hear if ya get the computer flashed it’ll roll past the 150 mph mark. But I’m all set with that, it’s the G-force acceleration that gives ya the shit eating grin, and not risking your ass at top-end speeds. Great video, thanks for sharing and ride safe👍👍
That is a beautiful bike!! Enjoyed the drone footage of it. 👍 you can tell you're really having fun with it. You're right when you say the bike has to feel good to you, otherwise it's not enjoyable (and in your experience, can end up pretty dangerous). Take care and ride safe!!
MotoKari thank you very much. I knew it was the bike for me the moment I sat on it. I wanted a muscle cruiser and this is it. You guys ride safe as well. We may end up going to the AIMexpo in las Vegas in October
I agree. Most video of this bike, the reviewer for some reason feels like they need to constantly be on it. It was refreshing to see this bike just purr along. Nice machine.
Love the 109M, I do love the power of bikes, had a really bad crash back 2015 so still of the road so race bikes are no more, looked at lots reviews on the 109M and you just sold it of me. Thanks and be safe out there
I'm glad you bought you that bike I made a good video of it I'ma say that's a nice color combination I seen one of those in real life that really pops man when you looking at in real life it's unbelievable great choice
Great vid! I’ve been riding a boulevard M50 for a couple years but I’m looking for something with more power and was even thinking a 6th gear. On the M50 when going at speeds around 75mph in 5th gear, the vibrations start to stiffen the back after about 10 minutes. Going 70 seems fine tho but sucks getting passed on the highway on a bike lol. How does the M109r feel cruising at those speeds for any length of time?
The M109R is a great all day rider. I have rode that bike for 13 hours in one day. I was a little sore but she has all the power you could want. She will cruise at 100 no problem.
Thank you. She is a beauty for sure. I will have to make an exhaust video one day. She sounds incredible with the cobra exhaust. And the power is insane. 127hp and 117 lbs of torque. That's why is considered a muscle cruiser.
With the stock tune the M109R is limited to about 130. The fuel drops off and the secondary throttle plates close half to like 40% to restrict top speed. With ECU tuning those limitations along with increasing the rev limiter to 7500 brings the top speed to 160.
Hey brother, Big guy here too, 6'0 280 lbs. I went the opposite direction and got a Z1000, she always tries to wheelie even with my big butt on it, but I love the clearance I have with my legs but sometimes I just want to cruise so I'm trying to switch over to a muscle cruiser. Your have my current dream bike and shes a beauty. Congratulations!
ObiWanChenObi that is about the same boat I was in with the GSX-S1000F. And I wanted a muscle cruiser as well. The Bulley is my favorite too. I suggest you go for it. Thank you. I don't plan on getting rid of her for a long time
Glad you enjoyed the video. That is a great question. Honestly I don't feel as much drag as I did with the Fury. I'm guessing heavier bike with a wider seat and more designed for long haul riding makes the difference. You get the same wind drag from crosswinds as all bikes. But even without a windshield it's not bad on the Bully! Hope that helps!
I just got an 05 m50 (with cobra exhaust sounds great) for my first bike absolutely love it so far love the styling of these bikes plus fuel injected, liquid cooled and shaft driven you just cant beat em for the price!
I'm 5'10" 230 my 2012 fits me like a glove, NEVER enjoyed any bike like this one, just so much fun to ride, love the way it feels, really really can't get enough of the m109r
I just picked up an '06 Limited with super low miles while out on a long ride with the wife and friends. Funny that you mentioned the Z1000 as I was riding a 2016 Z1000 all day and bought the '06 M109R on the way home. Had to go back and pick it up the next day. I have to say that I love both for different reasons. I love the looks I get and the comfort of the M109R, and it's plenty fast. I could ride it every day. Then....I get on the Z1000 and it's like a sports car compared to the M109R which is more like a PowerStoke Super Duty. Every time I get off of either I'm like...."wow, that bike is awesome!". Then I get on the other and I'm soaking up the different vibes. My dual sport is feeling neglected. :-( Any ride is a good ride. Great video dude.
Yea I still look at the Z1000. Love the look of that bike. I had a GSX-S1000F but the throttle was too touchy for me. We have groms outside of our street bikes. SoRoc wants a motard for her next bike. But I agree any ride is a good one. Thanks for the feedback. Glad you enjoyed the video. Hoping to have a few more reviews soon.
That's a beautiful bike..the m109 is my dream bike I'm 51&disabled but still can ride want to before I can't anymore I've been riding over 30years last 2years no motorcycle been hard last few years lost my wife 3 years ago my children are grown I want to get a motorcycle &maybe live from it I'm not getting any younger love the video
I'm with you brother. I'm 55 recently disabled finally able to ride again so I took a ride on my brothers gsx s750 and liked it but the pegs are too high for me and it's very fast. If I was younger I would buy the same bike but the m109 is calling my name. I'm bigger than my brother so I look like a gorilla on his bike.
Nice bike killjoy I just bought another one Boulevard 2008 limited edition orange I had a silver one I had a airbrush one yellow and orange and gray silver so I got my third one now that's why I went back with it cuz I like
I'm 5'4" 180lbs and have no real problems handling my 2017 BOSS unless it's slow speed turning on gravel or the 240 back tire is a little wet with too much throttle, fish tailed about 50 feet one time from going through a small puddle in the driveway to the highway.
I've been scoping the bike for some time, have you had any issues with the transmission? I've heard R&D Transmission does a great job. I'm reasonably sure in 2010 and up the issue is resolved.
I didn't have any transmission trouble. I will say it does have a harder than normal shift though. But they did resolve the issues around 2010 or 2011 with second gear... overall this is a great bike and I would probably own another one down the road
I have a Triumph Thunderbird which I love and a Harley (I don’t wear a pirate outfit though thankfully) and this bike has caught my attention. I’m definitely interested in trying one
Got a 2006 Suzuki boulevard s50 my first it’s great for me because I’m small 5”6 and can flat foot it but it’s great around the corners and the 805 cc is no slouch. Would like to eventually move up to a sport bike like a 1000 but this is good for now.
Have you had any problems with it? I just got one that needs repaired, front cylinder blowing oil. My friends buddy, just Gave it to me. Free bike, ain't gonna gripe.
@@Laffy1345 depends on the year of the bike. Some of the older ones had problems. Mostly transmission issues but a cylinder issue wouldn't surprise me if they rode it hard.
I have a gxr 750 and my back hurts, I have been to the bike shop looking at the m109 and watched your video 4 times. And I'm ready to get mines. I'm getting the 2019 white and blue
Great color combo. I like to go on long rides and a supersport just isn't for that. Track bike all day. My next addition is going to be an FZ07 first of the year.
They make some touring kits for it. Not sure what all is out there because I didnt like the look of the bags. But they do have some options. I'm not sure where to tp you to look. Maybe try ebay?
I think they could move up to this bike after the fury or a smaller CC bike like I did. The power of the Boulevard is not really a beginner level bike. Plus the handling is a little different because of the big rear tire. But I do think it could be the next bike after a beginner bike.
I own a 09 m90 and love it. I've done roughly 4000 km on it in 3-4 months. Wondered what it would be like to own the m109. Looks and sounds mint as. Would the m109 be similar to the m90?
Ok so I am torn between 3 bikes at the moment. I have fallen in love with the style of the Fury. Also am intrigued by the Indian scout bobber. The m109r is the third. I am torn between them all. Since you said you came off the fury, would you say the boulevard is a better choice than the fury? If so, I would have it down to the muscle m109r or the Indian scout bobber. The fury is the only one I have ridden of the 3 and I enjoyed it very much. My current ride is a Suzuki GS 650 L. I would appreciate any input you can give me. Thanks.
All 3 are great bikes in their own rights. BUT, each have their pros and cons as well. First, I need to ask if you have sit on a Scout Bobber yet? If the answer is no then I highly advise you to do that. The reason is I have owned the Fury, and considered the Scout Bobber before buying this M109R. I went to Indian and sat on the Scout Bobber only to be very disappointed. It felt like a very small and uncomfortable bike to me. The M109R sits close to how the Fury sat and the handling is close outside of the bigger rear tire. The Fury lacked the power and top end speed I was wanting. The Bobber has 100HP to the Furys 76HP but the M109R has 127HP. At the end of the day I went with what felt good to me when I sat or rode. I choose power and an "at home" feeling in the end. I hope that helps! Thanks for such a great question!! Ride Safe and Good Luck Bike Hunting!!!
I seriously considered the Scout Bobber too. It is also a powerful bike. My buddy bought one and I bought a 2017 M109R. There is a serious size difference between the two bikes. I determined I am way to big for the Scout. I am 6'3". The M109R fits me very well. My buddy is much shorter so the scout fits him well. The M109R has a better lean angle and more power. It is a better performance canyon carver cruiser. Also the Scout Bobber has an uncomfortably hard seat. It needs replacement. I like both it just depends on what suites you.
I love these 109R LTDs 2008 models in particular. Now since all my cancer is gone I have looked for one but all I've found was trashed. That red looks great on that bike. It's not all blacked out. This thing is beauty, except for the wheels. They need to be triple chromed.. Don't ride it like a sport bike or you'll be pushing daisies soon. Some of my (late ) friends tried that.
Hey man. I'd love to hear more about your thoughts on the 109R. I'm only 5'5 but have been riding a long time and am either going for that, a warrior, or raider.
@@johnw6806 I was suppose to wait till a Saturday to pick this one up but couldn't wait. I drove an hour in the rain to pick it up early lol. No problem. Glad you watched the video. Ride safe
How is it in curves as well as dragging/scraping the foot pegs? Is that a problem and was it something you had to get accustomed with? Thinking about purchasing this but afraid of the foot peg problem (if there is one). Thanks. I see you answered some of it in this video but still would like to hear what you think?
It's me !! It takes some adjusting in the curves with the 240 rear tire. I haven't dragged the pegs yet in a curve. I'm sure I will. I have been really close several times. But overall I'm impressed with the M109R. Overall power and handling is great for a muscle cruiser like this one.
If you don't mind me adding some comments pertaining to the pegs dragging. It all depends on how aggressive you corner. If there is no traffic, I take the corner with some speed and yeah, I drag the pegs all the time. That said, you can avoid that with proper body leaning and if I'm going really fast, I even get half my butt off the seat and almost knee drag to allow more ground clearance. At "normal" speeds, you won't have to worry about it any more than any other cruiser out there.
I drag my pegs all the time when riding more aggressively. in the twisties. I find it very satisfying. It has a good lean angle for a cruiser but its no sport bike. However compared to other cruisers it is a sport bike. The M109R has two personalities. Its a low end torque relaxed cruiser but at high RPM's it becomes a performance machine. I don't notice the common complaint about the wide rear tire affecting cornering nor has other people who have ridden it but I have ridden but never owned a sport bike so it may be my experience.
Unfortunately I think I’m too short (175cms) for this bike, but when I saw a good friends one l instantly fell in love with it just parked there. If anyone is about my stature and has one, like to read your experiences on owning this bad boy.🏍👌
The M90 is a great bike itself. I have never had a problem with the 109R in traffic or curves. The bike handles like a dream. But I have never ridden a M90 either.
Just tried the Hyabusa and the M109R back to back at Daytona this year. I felt the same power and acceleration of the Hyabusa in M109 but in a more comfortable seating position. I’m really contemplating if trading my Victory Hammer for one
Hi ! Do you still have this Suzuki Boulevard motorcycle ? What is your long term review ? Any problems coming up with owning this ? As I planning to buy one !
No I sold it after owning it a year. But I never had any problems with the bike other than a bad battery but that could happen to any bike. I would suggest buying this bike but make sure it is a 2012 and up. The transmission problems plagued the 06 to 2011.
This is the one I'm hoping to get in may. Not 100 percent sure but is it a dry clutch? If it is I'm thinking about swapping to a wet clutch. Heard that is more forgiving
Duane Deane I definitely recommend this bike. I'm not a 100 percent sure myself. I know a wet clutch takes some power away from the engine since it has to spin in the engine oil. But the final drive and clutch on this bike are very forgiving anyway. If it were belt driven I wouldn't think it would be. The only issue is the shifting from the transmission. It can be hard from 1st to 2nd. A common problem with these. You get use to it after awhile though
I currently riding a Victory 8 Ball, but I'm loving the M109r. I'm looking for a nice used one now. I've always loved the look of the Suzuki. Now that I've seen your beautiful bike I'm searching harder for one. Ride safe 👍👍👍
Moore Mafia have just dropped a vid where they flashed the ECU and fitted and aftermarket ... be worth having a look at at they show how much the ECU is strangling the bike particularly top end and a patch in mid range
Beautiful bike , im about to drive to Florida to pick up a 2018 , up here in MD ,bikes are way overpriced. Florida is the go to spot for reasonable priced anything
Hey William, that's exactly how I thought, I was out looking for a Honda goldwing, and a couple of other bikes, but about 4 days before making my purchase my cousin turned me on to the Suzuki M109. I had already put about 25 hours into research on the other bikes.as I had never even heard of the M109. Well, I bought one and I'm so glad I did. It was a 2007 Black M109,when I had to move to Washington I had to sell, but when I get another one, the M109 will be my choice again!!😎👍
@@TheKylebreezy yes I was confused when I asked people the name of the song. I was like well excuse me haha. No I sold that bike a year ago next month. Current bike is a 2018 Suzuki GSX-S750
It really depends on the year of the bike. 06 to 10 were really bad from what I heard. Mine was a 2013 and it would at times feel like it was hard to go from 1st to 2nd at times. So I guess I would have to say yes it does but depending on year to how bad it can feel shifting... ride safe!
I have the m50. It was my first bike but after riding it for the last 8 months I feel I need more power. I put about 5k miles on it so far and ride in the rain and with another person alot. I'm also 5'7 350lbs. I think this bike will be more of a fit for me.
Your height may hurt you with this bike it is very wide and at 5' 10" my feet just hit the ground but I love the bike power for days this bike wants to buck you off every twist of the throttle
And i sold my m109r 2012, and got 2011 fury, the fury is a much more fun and i didn't think i would ever say that, i still have my VTX 1800CC, so if i need the power of an 1800CC i have it, the fury is got what i need
From someone that has the same bike, let me tell you what your first mod should be, it isn't glitter or racy, but in my opinion one of the top mods I have done. Put on the Hydraulic clutch kit. I was having trouble with constant clutch adjustment with both my factory and my aftermarket Motion Pro clutch cables stretching, so I put on the Rainy hydraulic clutch slave and line and bought the lever and master cylinder from a Suzuki dealer. I got my 2013 for $6000.00 with 2000 miles on the clock two years ago.
Hello I've been riding a honda shadow 750 for 2 years now and I'm thinking of upgrading and I can get a good deal suzuki blouvard. M109r boss, would that be too much ?
Once you get to a certain skill level in doing anything you will want to go to the next level. I find that the M109 takes me to the next level. The Triumph rocket was a possible choice but it did not have the reliability. The v-max was also a possible choice but if you are going to choose that bike you may as well get a sports bike so you will have the handling to go with the power. The same thing with Harley- poor reliability and over priced.
It looks big and mean but in reality it's a big softy. When I sit on it I feel like I am on a machine that will protect me. Unlike other bike that when I sit on I feel that I have to proct the bike. With that said, If you have been riding for a couple of years you should be able to ride anything.
I went from a 06 Shadow Sabre 1100. It's the same bike with bigger displacement as the 750. It was no problem for me. Others who have ridden mine have said it's size is intimidating but as some as they got moving were surprised how nimble it felt.
I would say that you can get a good deal now because dealers are trying to clear out their 2018 models. You will love the M109 if you upgrade. It's a good buy for the money.
Gorgeous bike. I’m a diehard sport bike rider but I’ve been looking at the m109r for years now. I’ve been in the market for a new bike for about a year and contemplating converting to cruisers. After hearing you be in awe of the bike it is making it quite difficult to say no. If you had one negative about the bike, what would it be?
Honestly I don't really have anything bad to say about the bike overall. Performance is top notch. The price is great for the amount of bike you get. Comfortable riding. And all the power you could ask for in a muscle cruiser. The ONLY negative thing is learning to adapt to the fat rear tire when it comes to leaning in the curves. It is a little different of a feeling. Hard to explain. You would have to ride it to understand. But it's worth pulling the trigger on if you have been looking at them.
Killjoy and SoRoc I was going to ask you about that rear tire. I just got a 2016 m109r and love it. Only thing was switching from a kawasaki zx14r sportbike to my first cruiser, it was weird not putting my feet behind me. And making turns, I'm always thinking about that fat back tire. Like I'm gonna slide. But this thing is awesome!
@@MotorcyclesforTallRidersNow definitely my favorite bike so far. That fat tire will hold better than ya think. I don't have chicken strips left on mine now lol.
I agree 100% about the rear tire, at the advise on the M109 forum, I installed a Dunny Elite 3 250, which is even wider, but the profile is rounder installed and not so flat as the original crap tires. Makes a big difference in cornering. The other thing that I didn't like about the bike was the lean forward position as it is from the factory. I put +4" risers on for a more upright position (and of course all new +4 cables and front brake line. This probably won't bother a sport bike rider as that is what you are used to. However I am 68 y.o. and bending forward all the time just didn't work for me.
@@tat2wheelz I know test rode one Already have a power cruiser you can see on my video but the m109 it's just massive & powerful really surprised the way hits the corners
So I'm 6ft 180 lbs .... have not had the chance to sit on one... but according to your measurements I ahold be fine? Has your wife rode on it yet if so how did she like the passenger seat??? Was it good stock or does it need an upgrade??? You have an amazing looking bike
Yea you will be fine on this bike for sure. I have never put my passenger seat on because she won't ride on the back. She prefers her own. But she has rode my bike herself and she loved it. She said the same thing. Different on lean angles but overall she loved it. Says it's a beast. Which it is.
@@tat2wheelz ya my wife will ride with me .. so I wanted to make sure I got enough power took a ride on a vstar 1100 with the both of us in the Arkansas hills... it was a nice ride .. but wanted more .. so I settled on this ... but still looking for one in my price .... but wanted to make sure the passenger seat was nice as well ... thank u for the helpful info
@@kylestoddard7911 the comfort of the passenger seat I can't comment on. Power wise this thing has all you want and more. It will spin rear in third. Lol
I wanted to buy the m109 but my legs are too long and the tank is very large so the pedal control were to much inside. I would had to twist my feet inside. Would have needed other type of control. My two favorites are that M109 and the Raider 1900 which I own. I’m not sailing it soon but if I change I will loose for larger pedal control before buying it. If I were rich I’d have those two in my garage.
How tall are you? I'm 6'5" and the controls are no problem. I did install highway pegs for comfort during long rides. You must be taller than me? By the way, the bike is absolutely incredible.

I got a 07 limited love it

Nice bike killjoy I just bought another one Boulevard 2008 limited edition orange I had a silver one I had a airbrush one yellow and orange and gray silver so I got my third one now that's why I went back with it cuz I like
Good review as I am looking at one
Great vid indeed, very informative. Two questions, how loud are the cobra pipes? And how many miles you get per tank?
ua-cam.com/video/cWbn0HYCPXU/v-deo.html here is a link to the exhaust. I'm not sure on Miles per tank.
I own the exact same bike. Miles Per Tank depend on how much I get on the throttle... But I average about 160.
Love the red
It is definitely a beautiful color on this bike.
130mph works just fine Awesome Bike /selling my FJR1300 Old Man needs a V Twin with a attitude.
I'm 5'4" 180lbs and have no real problems handling my 2017 BOSS unless it's slow speed turning on gravel or the 240 back tire is a little wet with too much throttle, fish tailed about 50 feet one time from going through a small puddle in the driveway to the highway.
I freakin' LOVE my M109!
Great bikes for sure.
I have an '07 LE 109R Awesome bikes!
I have a Triumph Thunderbird which I love and a Harley (I don’t wear a pirate outfit though thankfully) and this bike has caught my attention. I’m definitely interested in trying one
You have to ride one at least once. You will love it
tat2 wheelz I’m sure I will. When I can afford another bike, I think I will get a Boulevard
Got a 2006 Suzuki boulevard s50 my first it’s great for me because I’m small 5”6 and can flat foot it but it’s great around the corners and the 805 cc is no slouch. Would like to eventually move up to a sport bike like a 1000 but this is good for now.
I think you chose a perfect starter bike. Keeping learning and ride safe. 😁
Yes I did...I rolled my handle bars more up...in Florida its called harley eater! You should be able to do 0- 60 in 3.6 sec.
Ah okay. Good idea. Yea I have let her loose a few times lol
The best bike I have ever ridden. Solid like a rock on the highway.
Couldn't agree more with ya!
I've been quietly looking for one used in that scheme, shhhh, don't tell the wife.
I just picked up a 2019 in the red and black and am absolutely loving it. Just tipped the first thousand miles on the odo.
Getting me a 2001 Suzuki intruder 1400 for my first bike. I think the m90 or M109R will be my next bike after I get proper riding experience
Heck Yea! I think that is a great plan!
Hi mate love ya vids, was thinking of buying the M109 , can you buy all the kit for touring on it , not a lot of info here in OZ about it cheers Garth
They make some touring kits for it. Not sure what all is out there because I didnt like the look of the bags. But they do have some options. I'm not sure where to tp you to look. Maybe try ebay?
Currently looking for one to buy.
Cant wait to saddle up and get riding
Mark Holmes you can't go wrong with this bike. It's a beast
Could a beginner get used to this bike versus the fury? I ask because you drove both. Thanks.
I think they could move up to this bike after the fury or a smaller CC bike like I did. The power of the Boulevard is not really a beginner level bike. Plus the handling is a little different because of the big rear tire. But I do think it could be the next bike after a beginner bike.
Thinking of purchasing one... 2018!
Which color? I think I will keep this one for a year or two before buying another M109R or different bike. I'm happy with this one.
I own a 09 m90 and love it. I've done roughly 4000 km on it in 3-4 months. Wondered what it would be like to own the m109. Looks and sounds mint as. Would the m109 be similar to the m90?
Yes very similar to the m90. Just bigger motor.
M 109 all day.
Congrats on beating cancer. I still do not see many of the 109's for sale. I got lucky when I found this one.
Hey man. I'd love to hear more about your thoughts on the 109R. I'm only 5'5 but have been riding a long time and am either going for that, a warrior, or raider.
I would just sit on them and see how you feel on it. Maybe even test ride one. I love the 109r for styling, power, and handling.
@@tat2wheelz thanks for the tips!
Much appreciated!
@@bobbysweeney5377 no problem
I spent $60 to lower my M109 two inches. I'm 5' 6" and can flat foot with a bit of room.
Which bike do you think is better for a tall rider (6' 4") this or the honda Fury?
Either one would feel about the same. So it depends on power and top speed. The fury is lighter but also only a 1300cc
Just bought one, pick it up this Saturday. Super excited. Whats the whistling song at the beginning?
Congrats man. You will love it. The song is Theory of a Deadman - RX (medicate) just the intro to their song.
@@tat2wheelz, Saturday can not get here fast enough. Thanks for the song info, and the reply.
Killjoy and SoRoc Thanks sir and enjoy the ride.. Living the dream lol!!
It's me !! Doing the best I can. Ride safe on your new bike when you get it.
That's a cool machine. In Switzerland they'd be too expensive to run. Here I've not seen one.
Beautiful bike congratulations
Thank you very much!!

I have the same bike but 2023. Picked up used with 700 mls. Love the bike . 1 to 2 is clunky.
I ride an M90 Suzuki Boulevard.1462cc, same styling as the 109R, lighter, quicker, more managable in traffic.
The M90 is a great bike itself. I have never had a problem with the 109R in traffic or curves. The bike handles like a dream. But I have never ridden a M90 either.
Nice choice man!
Thank you! Love this bike!!
Just tried the Hyabusa and the M109R back to back at Daytona this year. I felt the same power and acceleration of the Hyabusa in M109 but in a more comfortable seating position. I’m really contemplating if trading my Victory Hammer for one
I loved my m109r
As is with most modern motorcycles it is a wet clutch.
Great muscle bike for sure!
Indeed it is.
I currently riding a Victory 8 Ball, but I'm loving the M109r. I'm looking for a nice used one now. I've always loved the look of the Suzuki. Now that I've seen your beautiful bike I'm searching harder for one. Ride safe 👍👍👍

290 pounds! That is the perfect bike for you. Lot of low torque. That why I love my Raider 1900. I am a cruiser rider but like your’s too
I looked at a raider too. But I agree this bike fits me well.
I own 600 gsxr. Do you recommend to switch to a boulevard ?
If you are ready for the cruiser style riding then yes. It has the power you will want on that change
I did turn signals installed at the end of the bars mirrors turn down
I bet that looks awesome.
Moore Mafia have just dropped a vid where they flashed the ECU and fitted and aftermarket ... be worth having a look at at they show how much the ECU is strangling the bike particularly top end and a patch in mid range
I'll have to go check that out. Thanks for the tip

Florida is the go to spot for reasonable priced anything
Why the M109r and not the Harley night rod??? Just curious to know!!! Great vid btw!!!
Just didn't like the night rod. Plus the m109r has more HP than the Harley.
I really love the 109 too. If I twist off for a bike... I'm afraid it's gonna be a Goldwing.. I'm old LOL
William R nothing wrong with getting a goldwing. When I get older I'm sure I will get one myself.

Great video. Do you think a new rider could handle it?
I wouldn't recommend that
Would this bike be too much or long for someone whom shorter. About 5'5 in height?
It would be a bit of a challenge I do believe. Best advice I can give you is go sit in one at a dealership and see how it fits you
I have just recently purchased a new M109r... Do you find it's a bit clunky, especially from 1st to 2nd.
Thank you and safe riding...
It really depends on the year of the bike. 06 to 10 were really bad from what I heard. Mine was a 2013 and it would at times feel like it was hard to go from 1st to 2nd at times. So I guess I would have to say yes it does but depending on year to how bad it can feel shifting... ride safe!
I just picked up a 2023 with 700 mls. 1 to 2 is still clunky. What a good looking bike. Love it.
I have the m50. It was my first bike but after riding it for the last 8 months I feel I need more power. I put about 5k miles on it so far and ride in the rain and with another person alot. I'm also 5'7 350lbs. I think this bike will be more of a fit for me.
I would definitely go test ride one if I were you. All the power you could want.
Your height may hurt you with this bike it is very wide and at 5' 10" my feet just hit the ground but I love the bike power for days this bike wants to buck you off every twist of the throttle
What's the song in the drone shot?
The name of the song is "Go Fuck Yourself" I know I know. I didn't understand that until i searched it

@@martymac5372 I will definitely look into that mod. And you got a steal of a deal in that bike
Hello I've been riding a honda shadow 750 for 2 years now and I'm thinking of upgrading and I can get a good deal suzuki blouvard. M109r boss, would that be too much ?
It would definitely take some adjustments but I don't see why you wouldn't be ready to move up.
First thing is to change the rear tire, makes a big difference
Agreed
Be careful with the early ones get the 2nd gear undercut if you get one pre 2013
Love the M109 maybe buying one in a year or so

I wanted to buy the m109 but my legs are too long and the tank is very large so the pedal control were to much inside. I would had to twist my feet inside. Would have needed other type of control.
