Both shifter and rear break come stock adjusted for a giant that is to low for 5'11, forcing your feet too low forward and rather your foot gets stock underneath the shifter or you can barely push the rear break lever. All my shoes have the heels worn off the back outside. It’s an enormous piece of iron on two wheels. I looked up what Boulevard means, it’s…….adrenaline causing a grin from ear to ear.
This bike is the best looking Cruiser, and the Victory Magnum was the best looking Bagger. Indian Cheiftain Darkhorse is after the Victory....those are the must haves....Period!!!
In response to the 2:40 rear tire remark-my VTX 1800 will not spin but carries the front wheel instead. Kind of surprised me , because my old Vulcan 1600 Classic would spin the rear tire. Great video. May try one of these bikes in a couple of years.
So I have the M90 1500 cc It still has the nice curves and beautiful. I would cruise right past all the biker bars not knowing how I would be received. You know being on a Japanese bike. Well These so called bikers fell in love with my bike. They know damn well I can eat any Harley in a race. And apple to apple unless that Harley has been customized I will win hands down on the looks.
The M109R is a wicked bike. Great fun. Suzuki technology packed this bike with lots of punch and handling. The heads have GSXR Technology and the front end gives it great braking and handling. Can do burnouts on the move. 😁👍
I’ve always heard that they call these the “Busa Cruiser” since apparently the Hayabusa development team had a big hand in the M109R. I love this thing. If I was a bike rider this thing would be my dream. It’s basically the motorcycle version of a C4 Vette with a built 502ci crammed into it. It’s big, it’s brash, it’s bold, it’s utterly ridiculous. But my God does it look and sound good and have the personality of a Pit Bull.
Boulevards are the prettiest Cruisers.. Possibly a perfect mix of looks and Japanese refinement, reliability. Guess they didn’t succeed as much as they deserved ?
I had to make a decision between this bike and a 2015 yamaha raider bullet cowl. I went with the raider and I love it!! but Man.... It was a tuff decision. M109 is a bad to the bone bike.
I'm 6'2 and fit perfectly well on it. I've owned two M109Rs so far. I've ridden my 2014 from Cleveland OH to Washington DC right after buying it. No fatigue, no pain. perfectly comfortable.
I own one, 2017, BOSS, its an amazing bike. My previous buke was the vulcan vn2000, loved it, but this 1800 is nice too. Im a tall dude but i still threw on the handlebar risers because i want to sit back and relax. Shes got some power behind her though
Main reason to buy 109 over the 90 is power, nobody really needs that enormous amount of power So there is a second reason.......everybody makes cool stuff for the 109, but nobody makes cool stuff for the 90
Risen 19 109, great ride, however, like the ( more so) Yamaha Stryker it is a license losser Yes yes you think you can keep your foot out of the carb, but the first time you let it loose it's all over, might as well just turn your license in Yes you coulda done 0-60 a little faster Crotch rockets need 6 gears, they are close range with high rev motors Cruisers don't need 6, the reason so many think there needs to be another year is because they have shifted to high before they have finished acceleration You reach cruise speed in 4th then shift to 5th.........of course some bikes don't need 4th Stryker m109, m&c 90's ........ C90T cruises 60mph in 3rd with plenty to spare For about $200 get national cycle windshield made to look extra cool and blow the wind around and above you.
I've got a c50 i do enjoy it and I think I may get the m109 it does look really nice and I would like some more power but that price is looking pretty large is it worth it?
I know it's subjective, but I honestly hate the look of this bike. Well, maybe hate is a strong word. But it's definitely not attractive. Something about the curves... looks more like a perfume bottle than a motorcycle.
Make sure you point whoever is smart/lucky enough to pick that beauty up to the various Facebook groups like facebook.com/groups/209694252391978/ And to the M109ridersforum website as exceptional places for information, community etc.

I just watched “ the M109 is insane and you don’t want one”. And now this? 🤔 is it “insane” or is it “perfect “???
This bike is the best looking Cruiser, and the Victory Magnum was the best looking Bagger. Indian Cheiftain Darkhorse is after the Victory....those are the must haves....Period!!!
That bike is gorgeous
In response to the 2:40 rear tire remark-my VTX 1800 will not spin but carries the front wheel instead. Kind of surprised me , because my old Vulcan 1600 Classic would spin the rear tire. Great video. May try one of these bikes in a couple of years.
I’ve found that a convertible gives you a feeling similar to riding a motorcycle, especially on a cool summer night
GSD fan yeah no
Lifted jeep with no doors or roof and windshield down and stick shift you're close but with lousy gas mileage
Owned mine since 2007 ,and love it! Not missing my harley at all.
How comfortable is it for long trips?
@@mexcano1352 moved the foot pegs up 3 inches and it's super comfortable.
Most people don't know mine is a 109r ,because I've modified it so much.
All that matters to me is the wife loves the smooth ride ,and I like her double d's against my back.
Moved from an 07 M50 (first bike) to '11 M109R.. over all feel is as big the displacement.
Think so. In glider world just the best by all mean's🎉🎉🎉😊😊😊
My brother has the m109r. He can run with me to 150 mph. Awesome bikes
Really? Complete BS !! I owned a 2014 and now have a 2017 (see my videos). Top speed is 110mph and it's not limited. That's the actual top speed.
Wrong Ive been to 150 MPH on mine.
@@pythonman8103 You're absolutely right! Mine has 150 on the speedometer. I've had it at 130, with some more available twist left in the throttle!!!!
Thumbs up for the Suzuki🤠👍
That is one clean bike!!!! Love the color scheme as well!!great bikes brother blessings!!
Boulevards are the prettiest Cruisers.. Possibly a perfect mix of looks and Japanese refinement, reliability.
Guess they didn’t succeed as much as they deserved ?
Very few motorcycles are comfortable to ride more than a couple of hours at a time.
It’s a good looking bike sure, but have you ever seen an MV Agusta?
I had to make a decision between this bike and a 2015 yamaha raider bullet cowl. I went with the raider and I love it!! but Man.... It was a tuff decision. M109 is a bad to the bone bike.
I don't have a m109...but I love my m90.
Lumberjack Bike... Japan all the way......
I will own one in the near future. I always liked them when they were first introduced.
That’s a very good bike!
Not knowing anything about suzuki. What is that blinking light on the dash?
I have a C90 and a C50 just love these bikes!
Thank you for finally reviewing this bike 🙏 now you gotta do a current generation vmax 👍👍👍
there's no replacement for displacement
Which is why the Triumph Rocket eats the 109s lunch.
Saying it handles better than a chopper is like Saying your the world's tallest dwarf
🤣😂
I love my 19 m109r . Best bike I ever had .
Hey I'm 6'2" is that bike good for tall riders?
I'm 6'2 and fit perfectly well on it. I've owned two M109Rs so far. I've ridden my 2014 from Cleveland OH to Washington DC right after buying it. No fatigue, no pain. perfectly comfortable.
I own one, 2017, BOSS, its an amazing bike. My previous buke was the vulcan vn2000, loved it, but this 1800 is nice too. Im a tall dude but i still threw on the handlebar risers because i want to sit back and relax.
Shes got some power behind her though
Its duke nukem kind of bike.
Very beautiful looking bike. I want it. Any bike is good for me. Just want to ride.
The first time I rode mine. Tryed a wheelie up the highway at 40mph The back broke loose real easy.massive amount of balls bro
🤣😂🤣 @9:45 in this review.................That's freakin hilarious!!! 🤣😂🤣 Yea, I feel ya! that's what I say about mine on my bike (2003 Mean Streak)
I love driving my motorcycle. I drive it every chance I get. I think all motorcycle drivers love driving on the open road.
Love the gear indicator.
Main reason to buy 109 over the 90 is power, nobody really needs that enormous amount of power
So there is a second reason.......everybody makes cool stuff for the 109, but nobody makes cool stuff for the 90
Risen 19 109, great ride, however, like the ( more so) Yamaha Stryker it is a license losser
Yes yes you think you can keep your foot out of the carb, but the first time you let it loose it's all over, might as well just turn your license in
Yes you coulda done 0-60 a little faster
Crotch rockets need 6 gears, they are close range with high rev motors
Cruisers don't need 6, the reason so many think there needs to be another year is because
they have shifted to high before they have finished acceleration
You reach cruise speed in 4th then shift to 5th.........of course some bikes don't need 4th
Stryker m109, m&c 90's ........ C90T cruises 60mph in 3rd with plenty to spare
For about $200 get national cycle windshield made to look extra cool and blow the wind around and above you.
Make sure you point whoever is smart/lucky enough to pick that beauty up to the various Facebook groups like facebook.com/groups/209694252391978/
And to the M109ridersforum website as exceptional places for information, community etc.
I've got 4 bikes 2 Vulcan 1 Vtx1300 and a M109r I purchased a few months ago and by far it's my favorite and I had a vtx1800 years ago my only problem is when my youngest son and I ride he goes straight for the 109 every time
