This video made me flood with tears. Pokemon X was my first Pokemon game I had, even though I've not even been a Pokemon fan for a year yet this still absolutely overwhelms me with feelings because I strongly emotionally connect with Pokemon and I think to most people who still like Pokemon to this day will always remember the fisrt game that they played weather they're new to the franchise or not. The first time you play Pokemon is always special.
+周歡悅 X and Y are far from my first or favourite. But I'm so extremely happy for you. I know firsthand how special your first anything is. These games (while not special for me) can be very special for others. I'm so glad you had that experience. I hope you try out the other Pokémon games.
Pokemon X and Y just turned 10 years old. This and the other gen 6 games ORAS were what got me into pokemon, along with the anime. So much came with this game. Mega Evolution, the jump to 3D, a beautiful new region to explore. I had so much fun with Pokemon X.
Even not playing the game for years, while still on your sprint to complete the game, you are still anxious to see your home again. Perhaps to see what changed after your journey, or just to hear this beautiful melody.
Sounds very emotional in ways and especially nostalgic. Upon first playing the game, it represents a warm, welcoming establishing character moment for the region. Now, it represents a withdrawal of the said awesomeness and beauty, and all the good and sentimental memories and moments that are long gone with very little trace and records left
7 years ago this was released 😞 those good memories and nostalgia, I met so many people on this game, and I come back to my 3DS to see they haven't been online after who knows how long
Man its been nearly a decade since this game game out and my parents got this for me when i was a wee lad (im 15 as of October 2022) and hearing this theme again makes me wanna cry and go back to the good days with my Greninja, Butterfree, Talonflame, Pidgeot, Venasaur, and Gengar. Thank you game freak for making a game that i hold dear to my very heart
Farewell online battle and trade servers of gen 6 and gen 7 games that has all Pokémon coded in from gen 1 to gen 7. You will be remembered all those years 2013-2024.😞
My godmother passed on memorial day this year, and now this song takes me back to the days when she was still around. I love you madrina, rest in peace
I remember playing this game everyday with my brother. We would spend the whole summer hunting for shinies or battling and trading. I remember always getting to the eighth gym and failing. I miss this game and will miss the online services.
Sigh... This music... It starts with a lovely, solitary note that draws you in and continues throughout; sweet and bitter, melancholy fills the air as the day begins, that fantastic day where you (and your friends) are leaving on your journeys. But it also means that you are finally leaving this small hometown of yours that you have resided in for fifteen-plus years (not entirely sure what exact age the protagonist is; I'm saying sixteen), and, while it may be saddening to have such a comforting thing like home be gone in just a day, there is also the sense of adventure. You will no longer be waking up to hear your mom making pancakes or hear Fletchling chirping in the trees with the sun shining into your face. No. You will be on your journey, meeting all new Pokemon, of every size, shape, and color, discovering fantastical new places that you could only dream of before. It is soft and gentle because it is of your hometown and nothing really has ever happened there except for someone new moving in that would be met that day, yet there are also little bursts inside of this overall calm music, representing excitement for something to come, meeting a new Pokemon. It represents beginning, elation, and fear, all bunched into one quietly-excited town, and that is how it should always be. It is perfect. (There, happy?)
ThoughtsOfALeo if your guess of 16 is correct that's a whole 6 years they've been waiting. Given the in universe statements of trainers starting around the age of 10.... Then again with the jump to 3D it's getting harder to convince me these characters are in fact 10.
Lol I don't know. I wish there'd be a fanfic of why they waited. I wanna write one, but writer's block is sadly a thing....): In ORAS, the characters look very short and look 10, in my opinion. Also reminds me that I am a bit older than the target audience for this game.
ThoughtsOfALeo best thing i can come up with is waiting for Shauna or what ever her name was she seems to be the youngest of the group. even that has it's flaws, like how do we know this four year old will even want to go on a journey?
;-; almost 10 years, time flies, what an amazing game the pokemon game i played the most lol finished it in like a few weeks after i got for my birthday in july 2014 along with the 2DS
I've been a fan of the home town themes for quite a while. They're all wonderful to listen to, but this one has definitely taken the cake. The beautiful instrumentation, the signs of a wonderful beginning, and the hopes and dreams of an awesome adventure that awaits. Also, I wouldn't mind coming back home to this theme after beating the Pokemon League!
I think that this theme resembles multiple moments such as a moment where the music gets low key to me it resembles your family missing you the rest i believe in new awakening.
I still remember hearing this them for the first time. After skipping generations IV and V, my parents surprised me with a 2DS, and hearing this and seeing the beautiful 3D almost brought tears to my eyes.
I just, adore this track. The moment I began playing, the moment I heard this while starting off in my room, just so much nostalgia. It really takes you back to the very beginning of Pokemon. I don't know what else to say. No track in any Pokemon game has ever touched me so much.
i feel you so much, i dont listen to game soundtracks, but something about this track just reminds me of the old days when everything seemed so much simpler and better, i miss the old days so much and no video game soundtrack except this one has ever brought this feeling, of straight up nostalgia for me ever, i love certain songs dont get me wrong, but none of them can compete with how this amazing piece of art makes me feel, it really captures the feeling of the start of practically anything, and even almost 11 years later its feeling more & more nostalgic everyday 😅
this song is bugging me so badly. it has sounded really familiar since the first day i played the game. i want to say it sounds like something out of one of the Pokemon ranger games, o_o
Does anyone else find this song to be profoundly sad for some reason? it's not nostalgia, I just got done beating the game for the first time. Something about the melody just makes me feel down haha
It's 3 houses and a gate with a town like 20 feet away! It should be called Vaniville Fort!
Vaniville Town - "A town whose flowers is about to bloom."
Lets hope that "flower" isnt the ultimate weapon eh?

About 10 years noe
@@jackichan1651 ;-;
I deleted my original file too.
I consider tht to be the greatest mistake I ever made.
I miss my Talonflame and Tyrantrum.
i feel you so much bro 😂
This theme is almost perfect, taking in effect kalos being like France and that this is the start of the game. LOVE IT!!!
I just love this. All of the home town themes for pokemon are awesome
the nostalgia, i miss the old days so much, everything was so much better i swear
This song can go perfectly well with any 16-bit RPG.
+Chaos_Knight I'd like to hear littleroot town mixed with this in sync at 1.25 speed on this.
Yeah
@@BenSchubert1995 that's what I had dream about
this song is sad :( but awesome at the same time :)

You get the feeling that this would fit quite well as you go home after what felt like a lifetime of suffering and danger to finally heal in peace.
I remember playing this game everyday with my brother. We would spend the whole summer hunting for shinies or battling and trading. I remember always getting to the eighth gym and failing. I miss this game and will miss the online services.
This is perfection.
Fits the atmosphere PERFECTLY.
Can anyone say something else with "perfect" in it, please?

Fun Fact: Gen 6 is one of the most important Pokémon generations since it's here a new era of Pokémon truly began.
i love this theme! its so calm and peaceful
This song almost had me tearing up cause this game is so beautiful :')
This is where the 3DS era started..... so nostalgic
Man, what a way to start X And Y. This song is just soooo gooooood... most beautiful pokemon track ever.

Omg the nostalgia hurts
Ah, sweet memories... of four days ago.
It’s been 8 years, how are you?
Hi
I think that this theme resembles multiple moments such as a moment where the music gets low key to me it resembles your family missing you the rest i believe in new awakening.
I still remember hearing this them for the first time. After skipping generations IV and V, my parents surprised me with a 2DS, and hearing this and seeing the beautiful 3D almost brought tears to my eyes.
IV and V are incredible.
I'd check them out.

I can’t believe it’s been 7 years since X and Y released.
Honestly my favorite pokemon game bro
same lol im glad im not alone
Ohgod, I'm glad someone uploaded this ;-;
Glad I'm not the only one who noticed!
This song should've been our alarm clock instead of that Fletchling tackling us while we were asleep, lol. So relaxing.
How many feels...😪
this is how you start an adventure
The kingdom hearts vibes are unreal.
Reminds me of pallet, it'll be sad leaving your hometown Saturday
this song would give me nostalgia when i defeated the elite 4
this sounds like a lullaby
I love that game so much
This will soon be nostalgic to millions, remembering 12th October. ;)
This feels like home
Reminds me of Zelda and Pokémon Colosseum/XD. This is so beautiful...
Just beautiful.
i miss this game
HAS IT REALLY BEEN THIS LONG
After doing the league many times too train new pokes, I started looking forward too being done, so I could be greeted by this beautiful song :-D.
Goodbye 3DS era
No, no. Still helps if I don't.
NOSTALGIA
This music suits the theme of the game perfectly! since the game is based around beauty, It's beautiful!
Morning Time!
Goodbye Unova...
Gen 5 seemed to go by too fast.
10 years...
They went by so fast.
@@RebelliousTreeckoWould do anything to go back 😭
The best beginnigs Town theme
It's so amazing. ;__; It's simply the best hometown theme since Littleroot Town.
Know the feeling mate, this is so relaxing :)
Has a pallet town feel to it. Love it! :D
I should not be clicking these.
Ah memories of trying to get ryhorn to come with me on my adventure
I just fly to vaniville town just to hear this
i would too if my 3ds still had sound 😅
Well, it seems as if the field themes are 1,000,000x better than the battle themes so far, in my opinion.
now that you mention it, it kinda reminds me of relic forest.
I feel terrible. I WANT THIS GAME NOW DAMNIT!
This is looks like from
Pokemon brick bronze
I hate how repetitive this music is. It's not bad it just drives me crazy listening to it so many times in a row.
This is so kawaii '.' But Littleroot town is much kawaii >.
FFFF nostalgia
The whole game isn't ruined for you just because you watched a few spoilers.
Beautiful though, wowieee
So dragon quest, you're right!
Yes, but I was hoping they would improve the length of songs in this, or at least give us an option to mute.
this song is bugging me so badly. it has sounded really familiar since the first day i played the game. i want to say it sounds like something out of one of the Pokemon ranger games, o_o
reminds me of the starting town in Kingdom Hearts 2
¿Is that a Spanish guitar in the background?
So pretty.
That's what we call the volume slider.
Reminds me of Twilight Town of Kingdom Hearts 2 :D
Good morning Crono.. oh wait, wrong game. :P
Does anyone else find this song to be profoundly sad for some reason? it's not nostalgia, I just got done beating the game for the first time. Something about the melody just makes me feel down haha
Sounds like Sinnoh Surfing Theme
Sounds like something out of Kingdom Hearts. I mean this in a good way.
isn't that how everyone pokemon music is since gen 1?
I've always wondered; Why does Serena look different between being your rival or your player character?
***** I meant different in terms of hairstyle and hat.
Hah! I see I was not the only person then xD
There is audio in the game besides music.
id assume this is the new starting town?
Awesome but nothing beats Pallet Town's theme :)
I'm kinda getting a Disney vibe from this.
Why does this remind me of grandma's house from wind waker?
The beginning reminds me of Phenac City from Colosseum/XD
"It's a Wii U! The GamePad even has a screen!"
Well if the GamePad didn't have a screen it would just be a Pro Controller...
I thought this sounded like Kingdom hearts 100 acre wood theme.
reminds me of KH
I want to hear sound effects and stuff like that, just not the music which is really loud by comparison.
Yeah. Except less sad.
Lake floria theme from Skyward sword is nearly identical to this.
