I always get teary-eyed hearing this song. It takes me back to when I finally got back into Pokémon after years. I hadn't had the chance to play any of the DS games, as my family was a tad broke throughout the mid to late 2000's, but upon graduation from high school, I was able to get a 3DS, and got X night one. To say that this game holds a lot of sentimental value to me is an understatement. It's easily up there as one of my all time favorite games in the series for the comfort it gave me, and the fact that it was the first time I got to experience pokemon with friends. It makes sense that this is the theme of the opening town, cuz it sure as hell feels like home to me...

Ah X, this was the first mainstream Pokémon game I ever played. Sure I played Pokémon Ranger before, but again. This was the first mainstream one I played. I made so many memories from this game. This is where I got my love for Lucario. I suffered and succeeded with my Pokémon, even going as far as managing to get Terminus Hex, my Zygarde. Terminus Hex is a Pokémon that stuck with me even into Pokémon Sun and Moon, where you can get different forms of Zygarde.
R.I.P Ash and Pikachu from the anime series you guys have finally found the gym badge you were looking for and are living stress free with old and new friends old Pokémon fans will remember the very first episode of Pokémon I will always remember Ash getting Pikachu for the very fist time and Pikachu hated him but as the episodes went on they became friends i hope Ash will make a cameo in upcoming or in updates of the next Pokémon games thanks Ash Pikachu misty and brock and all of the characters from the 2000's Pokémon your fans will forever miss you guys 😔😢
Even though XY was not very good, the beginning of the game was nothing short of magic, seeing a mainline 3D Pokemon game with new music sounding far less pixelated for the first time.
I remember getting the game in January 2014 and spending a lot of time playing it, now it is January 2024 and I hadn't realized ´til now how joyful and precious those memories are for me, makes me feel a bit sad too cuz I know I will never be able to live those times again
