I have already purchased my home down in Bluffton SC but I have to say these videos are amazing! I am even learning things now after doing all my own research before we bought our house! Bravo!
I am so happy to hear that! I appreciate you watching and for the nice comment. I saw your other comment and we have something else in common than NY. ;)
were set to re locate in 2021 to 2022 went from Maryland to Bluffton many times got bided out of every house we bid on we wore out but a great house in PA and visit many times a year now..
I moved to Bluffton last summer. Really like it here. But, how about Port Royal... the farmer's market on Saturday is top notch. And Sea Sea's Honey Hole breakfast burritos, on Saturday morning's, are awesome!
WELCOME and thank you for watching! Port Royal is beautiful. In fact it's one of our favorite spots. Have you gone to the Cypress Wetlands and Rookery? If you go around dusk you will see thousands of birds coming back to roost (and a lot of turtles and alligators). The lookout at Sand Beach is neat and Fish Camp is one of our go to places to eat on the water. If you have a chance to visit Habersham it is absolutely beautiful their Harvest Fest in October is very cool. Thank you for the tip too! Can't wait to try the Farmers Market and breakfast burrito!! Enjoy the lowcountry!
Also growth of construction creates stress on the environment. One of the big draws to Bluffton is the nature and environment. So how is the area dealing with that if at all?
Hi Keith! Great question. There are good resources on the government website: www.townofbluffton.sc.gov/27/Government On this website you will find information on growth management, projects and watershed resilience as well as Bluffton's yearly strategic plan which involve those initiatives among others. I hope this helps!
We moved the health care was awful hospitals just are NOT good :( Move there just never get sick or need an ER do your research low health ratings for sure !! We moved … shortly after moving there. I will say the crime here is better than Beaufort !
Thanks for watching and commenting Maria! Yes the infrastructure, including healthcare, needs to catch up to demand a bit. Because this area is expanding health care most likely will too. If you have special medical needs you may need to look for specialists in larger areas. This is not necessarily uncommon to have to do in other areas either. In NY we would likewise have to travel to larger areas for certain reasons and higher level of care. So your point is well taken! Always do your research.
@@HeartoftheLowcountryHomes thank you ! Thankfully I do not have health needs my mom did We had a very bad ER visit if it ever catches up I would return in a heart beat ! We live in PA and while the taxes are higher Penn Medicine has top notch health care …. But I hate snow lol

I am glad you have your mom where she is getting the best care possible. I know the snow gets to you after a while. The good news is you’re entering spring so hang in there. My best to you and your mom hope you can come back to visit some day!
