In bosnia we have 2 types of variants of rice pudding fast-slow. Slow one is mostly made if you have a fire place. You take a large pot you put rice milk and sugar (And other things like cinnemon etc) Mix it good place it on fire place at night ( usually when you lower the fire with a large wood and shutdown air wents for it) It cooks slow and you get creamy and soft rice pudding. Its literally like pudding you make. Second one is the easiest to make. You just have to first half cook the rice. I usually put as little water as possible to evaporate and just pour in milk sugar and let it cook for like 20mins
Lovely easy to make❤
MashaAllah always nice sharing may ALLAH bless you 🤲

Delicious, I will be making this. I loved the history & the recipe at the end!
I just bought some grape molasses (I'm in Australia so I had to go to a specially shop) so if you have any recipe ideas to use it in, it would be great to see a video in the future. I've been putting tahini with it & putting it on yoghurt or dipping bread in it 🤤
Thanks! yes best way is to eat with tahini, you can also make simit but it needs very less amount:)
@@TFT I'll google simit, thank you 😊
Wow
Yummy

Love the recipe, have you tried coconut milk?
We don’t have coconut milk widely so never tried. But if you already make custards and puddings you can definitely make it
Wa make it in Egypt the same
but instead of egg yolk we add milk cream liquid or powder
Yummy 😋 thank you 😊🫶
Thank you! You said long grain rice, but that looks like short grain. Is that correct long grain.. just double checking.. 🙂 Thank you!!
IT is preferred to have a long grain but short is ok too. Mine might not be long compare to basmati but it isn't that short :)
@@TFT thank you. I will attempt it with sushi rice,(that's what I have on hand)and since it's a sticky rice, maybe it will work well. Have a wonderful weekend! Love your channel!!
I was confused as well, looks like risotto round rice.
Hi Aysenur, is it a must to put an egg in the sutlac? Or you can make it without an egg? Thank you
Hi Yael! It is not necessary, just to make richer. You can simple omit it 😊
@@AysenurAltan thanks for your quick reply!
❤💗 💝 💗❤
I have almond or regular flour are those okay instead of rice flour?
If it thinkens the milk when you cook you can give it a try
Turkish way
How do you make normal rice milky rice without baking it it’s called kheer
I want to learn how to make harira
Starch is same as semolina or not?😊
Coconut milk would work for a filipino version of sütlaç right?
If you already make custards and puddings with coconut milk yes you can. It is something we don’t have widely so I have never tried 😊
Looks delicious... Plz mention name of ingredients and the amounts with the video... Your presentation will be more beautiful then.... From India, West Bengal .....
Thank you! I did mention the ingredients and amount in this video 😊
@@TFT yes, I've noticed that in the 'description ' later....
Is it possible to make it without rice flour?
Yes it is, just use same amount starch or add 1tbsp more rice
@@TFT
Very appreciated
How much vanilla extract?
About a half tsp or one, same amount you use in a recipe normally for a 1+1/2 liter of milk. Or add less then taste and add More if you want
In India many many don't have such ovens ... how to do the last process ??
No need to burn the top, you can eat like that or use wood fire oven if you have
Selamlar
إذا تضيفي كريمة خفق أو قشده قبل الفنيليا سيصبح خيالي

That’s not long grain rice
Will it smell of egg?? I don't like the smell of egg
No
It doesn't smell egg :)
@@tanyache215 thank you 😊
For me it's a bit thick.
But anyway, my daughter loves anyway kind of sütlach - it's her favourite desert
Looks short-grain rice to me...
You can use short grain rice as well
