- Avenged Sevenfold are back with a new single called "Nobody" from their upcoming album "Life is a Dream". I have never listened to Avenged Sevenfold before so this really is a genuine first listen reaction. I have really don't know what to expect apart from the fact that I love the name. Let's get into it!

People are hyper critical like they haven’t been killin it giving it their all since 2003.
People cry when artist keep the same sound through every album and cry when they do something different.
People are allowed to change their musical tastes if they want they’re in different places in their lives it’s art and it’s their art..
It takes more courage to change it up and do something different after they already made it.
They do the same thing with Metallica 😅

Metallica is THE easy target ! All the time ! I wonder why there are so many haters on a Metallica video comment section ? 😁 If I don't like a band, I just don't listen to their music and don't give a shit about them...
its just the production in some parts were lacking and ive seen some people not enjoying the vocals (i didnt mind them personally) ik he fucked up his voice or something a while back and the riffs seem a little bit too repetitive i would of enjoyed to see a bit more different riffs but overall i dont mind the song but it could of been better
I've disliked this band until now. The two pre-release songs have been very good.

Never was a huge fan of A7X, but their last album The Stage blew my mind. Definitely happy they seem to continuing on the same path. Really excited about the upcoming album.
I used to love them back in high school
They've always had a few songs similar to what they did on the Stage, albeit less existential/cosmic and more "metal." If you like The Stage, check out the songs Acid Rain, Buried Alive, Save Me, A Little Piece Of Heaven, The Wicked End, Betrayed, I Won't See You Tonight (Pt 1+2), and Lips Of Deceit.

The more i hear this song, the more it gets stuck in my head.
I'd highly advise going through their top songs from each album and watch their transformation. You'll hear the metal core at the start then the transition into more traditional rock/metal.
They are fantastic live and also the story behind their band is heart breaking.
Their story is heartbreaking but also beautiful. Five best friends that against all odds became rock/metal superstars in an age where that wasn't really a thing anymore.

You should give "a little piece of heaven" by avenged sevenfold a listen. It's a sinister song but songs like a Broadway musical.
I’m glad to see someone else describe it that way. To me, it’s always had a Danny Elfman/Nightmare Before Christmas type sound to it, which I absolutely love.

Happy birthday mate! Avenged sevenfold are one of my favourite bands so seeing them return was cool, and even cooler to see you enjoyed it! I wasn't convinced with the new single at first but its certainly grown on me. Their earlier stuff may have been what you were expecting, but soon after they really did breach a fantastic point of mixing a more standard rock melody with heavy metal instrumentation. City of evil, S/T and Nightmare is one of the best 3 albums streaks of all time imo.

I'd drop Nightmare and add WTF at the start of the run.
Self-titled is tremendous though.
This song is epic and has been on repeat for many days now!
I love how M.Shadows’ voice has matured and matured well. It’s like he knows he can’t do the higher notes that he once could but has kept it quintessentially A7X
