Yes, Shambles is the Akane show with special guest stars Kanami, MISA, Saiki and Miku. But wait! Was it really the Kanami show, because she wrote the song and played it with such forcefulness and exquisite abandon. Or was it the MISA show because without MISA, the rapturous drive of the song would be a ride on four flat tires. Or was it the Saiki show because she focused the sonic chaos into a song with melodies that could express Miku's lyrics like no other singer could. Without Saiki, Shambles might sound like a familiar instrumental. Or was it the Miku show because, damn, she wrote the lyrics, played the important rhythm parts, and added her unique brand of backup vocals that have become a defining "sixth instrument" of Band-Maid. So exactly whose show was it? It was the Maid's show, as usual! 🤘🎀🤘Thx, Corkyey!
That guitar is Miku's "Signature Zemaitis" a MF24-FP "Flappy Pigeon" built to her specs with a few small modifications that Kanami's guitar tech Daisuke Kondo added.
I witnessed the live debut of Sha.bles when they closed their Sacramento serving with it last year. What an INCREDIBLE surprise ending to an AMAZING show! Thanks again for another great reaction. 🤘🤩🤘
If you bend an ear towards Akane on the kit for the whole song, You will see that this song is made up of 67% drum fills. Do it. For a real treat, take a look at the double live video 'Manners/Black Hole'. Bass & drums are so good. Black Hole will mess with your senses.
It’s always great to watch BAND-MAID newbies discover BAND-MAID. I’m a newbie myself, but I got here as soon as I could! “Thrill” randomly popped up on my feed on January 17th, 2024, and I was blown away! Not a day has passed since where I haven’t listened to BAND-MAID. LONG LIVE THE MAIDS!!!
They have always rocked. Try Real Existence (OMV or live, or both) or Nonfiction Days for their early days. Freedom or Domination live are great. For a lighter side, try their newest Bestie, or Memorable OMV, Endless Story live or Sayonakidori acoustic.
@@brunobryant4846 I said fierce tiger, not drunk tiger! Now I'm imagining tigers out on a tear with their buddies. Chaos ensues. Stop giving the tigers beer Roger! :-)
Think of the bands around the world on the top tier of music, go up a couple of more tiers and you're sorta getting close to where these Rock Goddesses reside, cheers from Australia Po 👍🍻🍻
Great reaction and Akane serves up more rolls than a high end bakery. Thanks for reacting to Band-Maid, your helping spread the word about the best rock band in the world. Shambles is the 2rd season closing song for a Netflix anime series "Kengan Ashura", a brutal fight anime, starting on Sept. 21st. 2023 It was written (music and lyrics) to match the anime theme.
Well done and welcome to the Maidiac Family 🎉 🤘🏽 Here are significant “gateway” or milestone performances still ahead for you: “Domination,” official LIVE (not music video) “Thrill,” the opening salvo that saved the band “Daydreaming,” a completely different lane of travel, an uptempo alt rock ballad with Kanami channeling her inner Santana
There are some great suggestions in the comments. I'll just add 2 personal favorites: BAND-MAID / alone (Official Music Video) ua-cam.com/video/axF56i4spio/v-deo.html And from Kyo Higasa's channel: BAND-MAID / Turn Me On (Live in Tokyo 2018) ua-cam.com/video/4q5rHaYrKr8/v-deo.html Kyo doesn't add any comments to the video and is the only source on YT for this performance.
You should check out domination live 🔥💯. I saw them perform live last year in August best rock show I ever been thanks to band maid and baby metal I got into rock music I'm not fully into rock but I'm getting there 🤘
Rock is great. Im originally a country fan because im born and raised down south so thats all i grew up with. then as i got older i started expanding into more heavier stuff like rock and heavy metal. all music is good just have to find something in each that you like
Another new band alert. BAND MAID has been the best find for me in years and I haven't listened to much more since discovering them. But on the weekend I found a band called "The Sixsters". No comparison to BAND MAID as they are in a league of their own. However, The Sixsters are a band everyone needs to hear (in my opinion). A five piece all female group from Ukraine - I read they were in Germany now because of the war in Ukraine Try "Feels" - "Hold" - "Fever" - "City" ... and there's more. WELL worth a listen. Darren from Aust
If you want to jump over to their earlier stuff try their first video "Thrill" ... But I can recommend the live performance of that song, too. Or another instrumental? Then "Onset". Po! 😅🕊️
Try Corallium from Eggman. (Capacity 250). It's not in their official channel but it is on UA-cam. :D It's not a fancam. It was recorded for a post-production LIVE Stream by the band. It was the first song solely written by the lead vocalist Atsumi Saiki. HATE? would be #2.
Heavy stuff - "Puzzle" official live - "Warning" MV - "The Non-Fiction Days" MV - "Onset" Official LIVE (Another instrumental - but live) - "Afterlife" MV - "Rinne" MV ... This is just a few, I can go on because they are that good. Then there's there softer side ... but maybe next month haha.
Misa (base player) one of the best in the world along with Fami ( LoveBites another band from japan) IMO. Kanami its a FENOMENAL guitar player and composer ( her riff are INSANE) and AKane ( drummer) to me its a ALIEN. TO MUCH TALENT IN ONE ROOM
Band-Maid is one of those bands that uses the bass as an actual instrument. MISA is often called the lead bass player because she is more busy than Kanami the lead guitarist. I think this is Akane's best work on the drums. I think you are ready for the 'Manners/BLACKHOLE' rollercoaster: ua-cam.com/video/iaf94nNSRGE/v-deo.html

Great reaction! I would suggest 'Domination Live' and 'Freedom Live' next. Great showcases of their joy on stage! 😎🤘
Hah! So many people hear this the first time and when it ends, they are sad it ends abruptly and too soon.
