How do you warm up a cold warehouse? Bring in Band-Maid and extra fire!

Just this morning I watched a video on the making of this MV. Fortunately they filmed it in winter and the fire was a good heat source to warm them up! (It's on their website, but you have to be a member to watch it).
Your next Band Maid reaction could really be anything from their official channel, but I'll recommend Don't You Tell ME. I think it's a fun video. Drummer Akane gets to eat!

All hail the DuckQueen! BAND-MAID is a wonderful combination of instant gratification and infinite replay potential. They write catchy songs that make you smile (I don't understand that alchemy, but 100% their music puts a smile on my face). On top of that, the more you listen, the more 'new' stuff you hear because they aren't content with just being catchy. Every song is its own evolution. The music changes from verse to verse, they aren't just replaying the same stuff over and over. Their music is very much about the journey.

I can't really get how no one said a thing about Misa. Let me tell you something, then, from someone who played both guitar and bass: shining as a guitar player is not that difficult, for example finger tapping is not that hard to learn, but sounds amazing and gives the immediate impression to the viewer you're some kind of god player, even though Kanami is absolutely fantastic with that (and a lot of other techniques). On the contrary shining on the bass is extremely difficult. Playing on an instrument in which the strings are way more distant, thick and hard, and doing it as fast and perfectly as she does, often doubling Kanami's solos, mastering every technique and kind of sounds, from jazz, to blues, funk, punk, metal, etc., well, it’s another thing. Most people, even a lot of musicians caught in a guitar or drum (excellent) solo, don’t realize her amazing solos are often the easiest parts of what she does. I could go on, but i'll just add this: not a single bass player on "Rolling Stone's 50 greatest bassists of all time" can do what she does, when, during a riff, she hides her pick under a finger, continuing seamlessly with slap or finger stile, and easily going back on the riff. I'm not saying she's better than Tony Levin, Flea, Geddy Lee and others on that list, I'm saying she should be there, while others shouldn't. She's not a great player, she's stellar, one of my all time favourites, since i discovered her, and i'm quite picky.

They actually just released the making of for this today for fan club members. The fire is real, but they're used to it. Mincho dropped her pick in the water and refused to pick it up and use it on her PRS.

Saiki often gets a bit stretched by their evil lyric writer, Miku. Puzzle and Blooming for example have parts where you think she's going to expire if she doesn't take a breath, both of these songs are right at the top of my favourites list.

A thing about the maid outfits, Charis: as Fans and Maidiacs know, Miku -- the 2nd guitarist, lyricist, founder and who worked at a maid cafe -- wanted to show that everyday working "Kawaii" girls dressed as maids in high heels while having fun and smiling could rock as hard as any guy band sweating it up in their hip, poor tortured artists "outfits"... and by showing that contrast (the Gap), it would generate interest, which it so successfully has done! It also represents Woman Power (Equality), which is an important theme with the Maids.
Now they show up as Maids for all band business and interviews, etc. and have created a long-lasting, unmistakable, visual band brand. Very cleaver, Miku. Your diabolical plan for world domination is working, Po! Of course, none of this would work if their music and stage performance wasn't at such a remarkably high level. Band-Maid is considered by many of their fans and Maidiacs to be the best hard rock band in the world - maid outfits and all!

Great reaction, Charis! Misa is the best bass player of all time. This doesn't take away from other great bass players - Boh, Flea and Geddy Lee spring to my mind readily. But Misa is the most dynamic of any bass player I've ever seen before. Her bass lines in "Shambles" go a long way to proving this. In effect, Band-Maid have a lead guitarist (the genuis, Kanami) and a lead bassist. Misa is one of several reasons why Band-Maid are the best progressive hard rock band of all time. 🤘🤘💕💕
EDIT: I might be late to the party, but you might want to react to some of Band-Maid's pop punk material - "Choose Me," "Alone," Shake That!!" I think you will love these songs!

About stamina - they do this live for as long as two hours in live shows.
I read somewhere that they try to work out 3 times a week to keep up that strength.
A number of other Japanese all-female groups do this too. That's how Midori of Lovebites became interested in competition bodybuilding and has been placing well. Another amazing band.
