Some of the organisers of the demonstration have links to Hamas; you have to question what a ceasefire means in practice. It means the survival of Hamas and Israel effectively waiting for further terrorist attacks on its citizens. Calling for a ceasefire is not neutral.

In international law, Israel had no obligation to provide food, water, electricity or power to Palestine, What international law requires is that they do not stop anyone else doing this provided the material provided id for the civilian population. If they have reasonable belief it is being distributed to Hamas combatants, then they may intervene. Hamas runs every aspect of life in Gaza. As a former UN employee I can tell you 100% that a significant proportion of staff recruited locally working for the UN and other aid agencies are also Hamas supporters and operatives.

Israel takes many many of them in their Jewish hospitals. Nobody mentions that. Most Arabs want to be treated in Israeli hospitals because they are treated as valuable humans. In Gaza, a human life is worth nothing. This attitude is based on the Quran, sadly.

Wish he had just said what he said here in the Piers Morgan interview. I get why he didn't want to answer Pier's questions, but it just made him look bad.
He said "a terrorist act" here, and moves straight on to justifications as to why it happened. A slithering rhetoric. We are still yet to hear him say they are "Terrorists" and they should be out of power. He's not a fool, it would be foolish to stop the war now, he knows that, so it's clear his motives are malevolent towards the state of Israel, and not humanitarian.
The real problem is that you've chosen to demonize him rather than listen to him in good faith. Corbyn is just someone who isn't interested in sound bites and black and white answers. You want the world divided into good and evil so that it's easily digestable, there are the good guys and the bad guys and you think Corbyn is one of the bad guys so nothing he says could possibly have any vaidation to it. If you invite diplomats to parliament, with a view to opening a dialogue to cease violence, then you use diplomatic language, and calling diplomats 'friends' when you have no intention of going down the pub, and hanging out with them is not only a diplomatic formality, but absolutely expected in that sphere. Clearly his enemies knew this, and argued with it in bad faith, and used that prey on those who didn't. It's like addressing an MP with 'honorable' in the commons. A word that only a very few MPs could legitimately be called, yet its diplomacy and parliamentary etiquette.
Besides, H*m*s has been funded and aided by 15r43L (according to their own officials) for decades in order to thwart a Palestinian state.

@skymoon4029 im not a big Piers fan but i prefer his style to this nonsense. Whats the point of asking questions and letting your guest completely avoid them without push back?
Corbyn was ridiculous in the piers interview all he had to do was call Hamas a terrorist group considering that in the past he explicitly said they were NOT a terrorist group.
If boris johnson had said that ISIS or the Taliban were his friends and that they definitely werent terrorists then you can bet your bottom doller that the media would be asking him what Piers asked Corbyn EVERY SINGLE INTERVIEW.

It's not self defence so much as it is war against the enemy hamas. In war against terrorists you have to destroy the enemy to get to peace & in war civilians always die especially when hamas use locals for shields.
He's a pathological liar. He totally misquoted himself regarding the friends remark. He welcomed them too the meeting, with a microphone, and INTRODUCED them as "our friends from Hamas and our friends from Hezbollah". Can't stop lying this guy, ever.
fatal mistake the West dont understand the difference between culture and values. multicultural refugees entered the West. its fruitful for every nation. The problem is with refugees from Arab countries, came different values. who are oppost Western values.
