  • “We are making good advancements and we are definitely taking down Hamas one by one, but it’s a very long process. It will take time.”
Israel’s former deputy foreign minister Idan Roll says the IDF is operating as “cautiously” as possible in order to prevent civilian deaths.

As one Palestinian father stated in an interview he has martyred 4 sons as a sacrifice for his people. Try to reason with that logic.

@@jonye7511 when one have 20-30 children as their leader told them to reproduce to take over this world and not having to raise them because it is UN's job to do so as they said. I guess 4 is nothing and no pain to the pockets? I am not sure, we don't give birth to so many children just to take over this world and we pay out of pocket to raise our children with few exceptions who are beyond their controls to be living on welfare. We can never understand their logic of making the world pay for their children. I grew up with one such neighbor, a family of 14, their clan is over 100 now. We were in single bedroom public housing, their elder boys slept on the lift lobby next to their flat. I only have a brother, he has 1 child, I had 2....we haven't reach their 14 of last generation, even my next generation won't reach 14. The west have a lot to worry about for their immigration policies.

Get an interviewer who can ask straight questions without the cynicism oozing in their voice. It doesn't matter if you disagree with the position that the guest presents, when they are being civilized, then the interviewer should likewise be courteous. That sort of response is appropriate for a guest who is hostile, raging, or antagonistic... not someone who is providing calm and honest responses.

Ideas for Gaza End Game. Use digital technology to gather identities of refugees wanting to accept nonviolent solutions to this territorial conflict. On the ground volunteers offering aid and asking for volunteers to invite individuals to register as nonviolent problem solvers.
Benefit for registering nonviolent, future housing in a secure highrise building to be built in the Gaza area. Create a ten year Homestead program giving nonviolent citizens the opportunity to own a home, actually take title vs renting. Rise and Repeat.

How can it be that people don't choose to move because they fear being homeless, being refugees when the alternative means being crushed in a building or caught in crossfire! That's absurd! They're either supportive of Hamas in spirit and want to protect them or they are being forced by Hamas to be their cover, so either way with the numbers of people who have delayed they could have done so en masse and Hamas would have been seen as the killer of their own people if they tried to prevent it. You complain about running out of time but you keep asking the same question over and over just trying to make Israel look like the aggressor or heaven forbid being disproportionate as if that's the way to measure a country's self defense operation. So, you may like to consider that a huge number of us don't appreciate your specious narrative and suggestive tone as you try to make Israel the bad guy. Why don't you say Russia targets people with missiles when they are asleep in their beds and they were not even invaded!!!! .....I am truly tired of this constant attack on Israel as if they woke up one morning and said we're going to attack innocent people. No, they are trying to eliminate a threat on their borders that wants to have many Oct 7's.

It's impossible to both eliminate a military threat and impose numerically proportional losses on the enemy. To prevail in eliminating an enemy as a threat means to impose much greater losses on the enemy. When Japan attacked Pearl Harbor, 2,400 Americans died. The US did not respond by merely killing 2,400 Japanese. The US ended up killing hundred of thousands of Japanese perhaps ~200,000 of which were civilians. And the US lost over 100,000 sailors and marines in the process. Britain and the US likewise killed hundreds of thousands of German civilians in bombing campaigns in 1944-45. Imposing such losses is sometimes what it takes to eliminate a threat. Yet, in most of the Times Radio videos I've watched about Israel vs. Hamas, the host is relentless in giving the Israeli rep a hard time about casualties in Gaza. I wish that the hosts, instead of reflexively moralizing and virtue signaling, were more circumspect and eager to gain perspective.

What Israel is not prepared to do is form a siege of Gaza while ensuring its own protection from missile attacks. Israel prefers to create a war inside the territory of Gaza , it seems likely that this is part of a retribution policy rather than a military necessity. The better choice is in the hands of Israel m clearly Hamas are prepared to use civilians and Palestinians have a base reason to comply, if their political history had been more realistic and sophisticated there would be a rejection of terrorism, but the politics of the region are so entwined with myths that there is little evidence of a general desire to live in peace with Israel as it is.
