- Nadine Dorries boots former Labour MP Chris Williamson off TalkTV as he refuses to call Hamas terrorists.
Former Labour MP Chris Williamson says Azhar Ali was wrong to apologise "because what he said was not antisemitic", before going on to tell Nadine that he thinks Gaza "is a concentration camp".
This comes after audio emerged that appeared to show former Labour MP Graham Jones use the words “f*** Israel” at the same meeting that led to the withdrawal of support for Rochdale candidate Azhar Ali, while also allegedly suggesting that British people who volunteer to fight with the Israeli Defence Forces should be “locked up”.
The Hyndburn candidate is understood to have been administratively suspended from the party, pending an investigation.

The Jews have every right to defend themselves from a war which Palestine started. Israel has had 13,000 rockets directed at it since Hamas slaughtered thousands of Israeli citizens on October 7th. Hamas has governed Gaza since 2005, so Hamas are the ones who should be supplying the citizens with water and electricity but they don't care about their own civilians, hence their extensive use of human shields and recruitment of child soldiers. I miss the quality of interviews of yesteryear, when it was acceptable to present a contrary view so that a topic could be explored and discussed in an intelligent, reasonable and civil way. Why is much of today's media becoming sensationalist and binary, so that if you disagree with the particular narrative or interviewer, a person is cancelled (platformed or whatever) or in this case booted off air. I think Chris Williamson needs to understand what the terms "concentration camp" and "apartheid" actually mean. For one Gaza is about 140 square miles. Not really a small concentrated area.

Well I would call Labour anti-Semitic on a large scale. Don,t say Starmer doesn,t know how many feel this way in his party. He backed that awful man and said he would cleanse his party. He done a wonderful job of they are still crawling out of the woodwork. Nasty man will lie through his teeth if it gets him the PM spot then see his true colours come out again.
I think for way too long labour ignored the extremist fringe in their party. And it festered. And we saw what happened then.
