Thanks for the explanation, I believed that the butterfly key board was bad but never understood why. Coming from someone whos only two laptops I’ve owned in my life being a 2011 MBP and a M1 MB Air I’m glad I never had to experience that terrible keyboard

Totally agree with you. For 4 years, I used a MacBook 12 Inch 2015, which used the 1st Generation Butterfly Keyboard. It was, of course, a nightmare. However, in 2019, I switched to the MacBook Pro 16 Inch, the first Apple device to go back to the Scissor Switch mechanism, and I am still using it today. All because of a keyboard. Incredible to see how badly Apple screwed up with the Butterfly Keyboard.

I have a butterfly macbook from 2018 thank god i got an sk61 because since it was a family computer, it became so crusty and it barley work
