NEXUS 5X Bootloop Fix via Fastboot

LG NEXUS 5X BOOTLOOP FIX via FASTBOOT
1. Extract the ADB and Fastboot tools in a directory and place the boot image in the same directory
2. Plug the Nexus 5X to the computer
3. Open a Command Prompt/Terminal in that directory and run fastboot devices to check if the phone is detected.
If not, reinstall the USB drivers (on Windows)
4. Unlock the Nexus 5X bootloader. This will wipe the phone’s internal storage.
Run the command

fastboot flashing unlock
---------------------------------------------
5. Once unlocked, flash the boot image with command
---------------------------------------------
fastboot flash boot N2G47Z_4Cores.img (for Android 7.1.2 : bullhead-n2g47o-factory-3ff32f55.zip)
or fastboot flash boot 4CoreOreo.img (for Android 8.0.0 : bullhead-opr6.170623.013-factory-203642e1.zip)

(Optional) Install TWRP with command

fastboot flash recovery TWRP3_1_1_5X.img
---------------------------------------------
6. Reboot NEXUS 5X with command
---------------------------------------------
fastboot reboot

ive done this procedure but with android nougat files 7.1.2 and TWRP 3.1.1 modified to use 4 core, everything works fine just a bit laggy, now what if i want to install the 8.1 Oreo ? Do i have to follow all of your steps ?

You can use wall charge charge your mobile 40-45 minutes . Nexus 5x can bootup then you can go to setting..... .don,t unplug because when mobile is cold it will bootloop again
