The Beatles toured from 63 - 66 with albums released. They had been playing as the Beatles doing 6 - 8 hour night sets in Hamburg from 60 - 61. Then they started playing lunchtime shows at the Cavern in 61 and frequent trips to Hamburg as well. They had plenty of experience before their first single, even.
Information about The Beatles???¿? the BEST BAND EVER,...7 years ,2 LPs per year more than 400 millions in sales (only in those 7 years)...they were a Miracle more than a band, they changed the world as we know it.
Beatles had to stop touring because they were too popular. It became dangerous and monotonous with crummy sound. Once they had the time to stay home and record they created many masterpieces. They put out another 5 albums in 3 years. 12 albums total plus a bunch of singles in 6 years. Any band would be ecstatic if they had half the catalog these guys had. There’s a reason they are the best selling band. There’s something for everyone. Dive in.
@@rousse61 The Dating Game was a game show that aired on ABC in the mid to late '60's. I was referring to the music that was used on the show. By the way, the song that is being played is called Spanish Flea.
This song had some kind of ties to Mass Murderer Charles Manson. Not sure if it inspired him or that he claimed he wrote it and the Beatles stole it from him. Not sure but it went something like that.
Nickie, please. And as stated in the description of the video, I had tried numerous times to upload it. UA-cam continued to take it down. This is a preview. The full version is on my Patreon page if you are interested. Thanks.
Well handled at the end there, young lady. That was actually Ringo about his fingers (for real) at the end of TAKE 83. I love youngsters delving into The Beatles … 300 songs. Their last concert was at Candlestick Park where I used to watch the San Francisco Giants on August 6th or 8th. I was too young but my cousin Bill went. They had a hard time playing live with old technology because the fans were so loud they couldn't hear each other sing or play. It was crazy. Cheers from a Gringo in Nicaragua.
Think of it this way… almost every Beatles song, if it was from another band would be considered that band’s best song.
That is such an insightful comment! Never thought about it like that until now but I couldn't agree more!
Yup, high school security guard who was in Beatlemania in the 70s said that with The Night Before specifically.

I sort of agree. But The Beatles didn't change the music industry as much as The Beatles changed music

They received death threats in 1966 before their last tour in the US and even in the Philippines.
Their last concert was Candlestick Park in San Francisco. I watched the concert on TV. Four years old

@@amb2745 I know that! I am 59 years old and was around then and remember it very well.
One if my favorite Beatles tunes
Their last live performance was in January, 1969.
Nope, 1960 was right. Not '56.
And where's the reaction?
I subscribed as soon as I heard Herb Alpert in the intro
To crib The Beatles look for Howard Goodalls doc on them on youtube.
They formed during the 1950s.
It's Herb Alpert, sorry 😎

Yep! I'm not sure what the ties were either exactly, but I have heard that before as well.
You should link it to google drive
