1:46 Maybe my favorite SNL skit of all time! Eddie Murphy is running a Stevie Wonder Impersonation business, and Stevie Wonder shows up to ask for a job. Eddie won’t hire him because he doesn’t do a convincing enough ‘Stevie Wonder.’ Then he takes pity on him, and decides to help Stevie fine-tune his impression of himself. Maybe Eddie Murphy at his best, and just another glimpse of the loving genius that Stevie Wonder is.
@@beaminotyou he has at least some vision. Theres a video of him catching a mic stand that fell over. He can see some movement most likely. He doesn't full on catch it, but he could tell it fell and reached out for it.
It was alright.. wasn't exaggerated enough. Take it from me. I mafe impressions of carrey on stage for 30 years. Its a crazy boost of energy. Anyone can do the head movement ect. You gotta think clown on crack if you wanna go carrey😊
@@DsignMediaUK made... if you check out the keyboard f&d are one besides another... really easy to press on either one by mistake when in a rush.. alllllllllllllllllllrighty then

A couple of others: John Belushi as Joe Cocker singing with Joe Cocker. Former US Senator Bob Dole breaking into a sketch with Dan Aykroyd as Bob Dole. Former US Attorney General Janet Reno breaking into a sketch where Will Ferrell playing Janet Reno.
The Joe Cocker/John Belushi as Joe Cocker bit was comedy gold! Watch the video and you can see Cocker was trying not to bust out laughing. Legendary. 🤣
The Janet Reno one was fantastic, it was the last SNL before the Clinton administration left office. He had been doing Janet Reno's Dance Party for years 😄
I was 16 years old when SNL FIRST came on the air. Living in Sydney, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, Canada...our City just got cable for the first time, out of Bangor, Maine in 1976. SNL was so good back then, that as teenagers, we would make it a point to be in front of a TV for that hour almost every Saturday night, if you didn't, you could only listen to all the jokes that were made on Monday at school instead of being the guy to tell them. The power of that show was incredible, it was so much a part of us living in 76'...I had just gotten my driver's license, was using weed for the first time...too bad it was 300 dollars for ONE little ounce back then. Comedy was GOOD in the 70's ... people like Richard Pryor, George Carlin, Robin Williams, Lenny Bruce, hell....eve Fostor Brooks could make us piss our pants with his drunken routine on Celebrity Roast with Dean Martin.
Some are ok, some are incredible. Especially few people did terrific voices. And kudos for Fire Marshal Bill bit! Not sure if Jim knew it was coming, but it felt like he really laughed genuinely for a second there.
During the monologue, the REAL Former President Bush, Sr., live via satellite from Houston, TX., defended himself against Dana Carvey's impression of him! I remember that!
Top three, no particular order: Jim Breuer as Joe Pesci, Jay Pharaoh as Kevin Hart, and ... it kills me to say this ... Jimmy Fallon as Jerry Seinfeld.
Three classics you left out: Belushi and Joe Cocker, McDonald and Bob Dole, and Carvey with John McLaughlin. I seem to recall someone doing Dennis Miller alongside him as well.
So far in my 51 years of life, nothing has made me laugh harder than when Eddie Murphy tells Stevie Wonder to "watch this..."
I thought the same exact thing hahahaha 😂😂😂😂

You know Stevie ain't blind right
Actually-- blind people use visual metaphors and language ALL THE TIME. It ain't no thang.
why is no one talking about the PERFECT seinfeld impression!!!
Ya...and how Seinfeld's ego falls apart when it's done.....lol.

That head turn 😂😂
*perfect VOCAL seinfeld impression

When Stevie Wonder was asked how he felt about Eddie Murphy's impersonations of him, he said, "I haven't seen it."
HAHA :D
conspiracy 👀
This is antisemitic
What a class act he is.
eddie gave stevie a cheesgrater for xmas and steve said "that's the most violent book I've ever read"...
Tina fey as sarah palin is terrifyingly accurate
It's what destroyed her political career. It was so damaging that she, the real Sarah Palin, had to come on the show to do damage control, lol.
Lisa Ann was pretty accurate too
1:46 Don’t forget Eddie Murphy’s Stevie Wonder.
@@gamble777888 Kind of crazy that was the role that put Lisa Ann on the map.
@@gamble777888 India Summer as Palin in "Drill Baby Drill" was a better impersonation, I thought. 😁
When Eddie asked Stevie to "watch this"... 🤣🤣
Considering Stevie was busted faking blindness, its even funnier.
Best ever!

Rachel from Friends was spot on 100%
She was so salty it was amazing

Yep. It was as annoying and terrible as the real thing
My favorite impersonation. So funny!
It was so spot onnn OMG lol
The fact that Nicholas Cage never even came close to breaking confirms he's the legend we know him to be.
Love Nicky Cage.
Love Nicky Cage.
In his own mind
As long as you don't ask him to ACT!!!! 😂 😂
Great actor but I think he was being dead ass serious, lol
Breuer as Pesci is pretty dang amazing
He doesn't look like him but the voice was on point.
Breuer is the man, so funny
My favorite one in this whole clip for sure
Yeah, that was the best one by far.

The Mike Myers as Mick is made even better with Mick playing Keith.
Totally agree! That really made it. 👍
I thought it was Willem Dafoe for a second I don't know why. But yeah it's totally Mick
SNL cast as Christopher Walken was the best. 😂
And Walken doing Walken was brilliantly done - bigger than him but not over the top. Guy's a brilliant actor. And a lovely dancer, too.
More cow bell!
Especially bill hader
10 out of 10 to the Celebs being such good sports 🦋
Christopher Walken, doing an impression of himself.
Holy cowbell!
Idk why but Hilary Clinton shaking Kate’s hand and saying “Hi I’m Val” always gets me
Me too but I can't think why exactly. It's like she took deadpan to a whole new level.
(For better or worse, HRC is a surprisingly good actress.)
Eddie Murphy to Stevie Wonder.. "watch this".
1:58 I wonder if Stevie was impressed with how Eddie looked
💀
6:17 Why you gotta end just as Christopher Walken be spitting facts?
"sings the freaking FCC song from family guy"
Fallon’s Seinfeld impression was perfect!
List is incomplete without David Spade doing Michael J. Fox while Fox is doing Danny Bonaduce.
Mike Myers’s Mick Jagger impression is hilarious 😂😂 I don’t even know about accuracy, but it alone is hilarious
The Jim Carey impersonations are awesome
Jim Breurer as spot on. I watch the Walker skit two or three times a year. Classic
Do you mean WALKEN
Joe Pesci..?
