Isn't The Khan also massively more popular these days than just a a handful of years ago? I'm no expert, but it seems to me he was the primarch with the most improved fan opinion from the Horus Heresy series.
In terms of increased popularity, there is no doubt it is Rogal Dorn. He went from a couple lines in the codex (I mean literally the Imperial Fists were a subsection of the freaking Ultramarines!) and was derisively called Guillidorn. He was thought as a mere yellow clone of Guilliman, terribly boring and vanilla. Now, Dorn has been developed into a much more interesting character. He has a few duels, including the epic duel with Alpharius, and he has some good friction with Guilliman after the breaking of the legions. He is the gene father of the Black Templars, the most fervent Emperor worshippers of the Astartes, while Dorn himself was all about the Imperial Truth. And of course, there’s the plot line of Dorn’s regret and anguish over the Emperor’s internment at his own hands.
He’s an easy Imperial character to explain to newbies or interested parties. Morally and ethically upstanding, self initiating, (independent of ideological bullshit) being a non white chad definitely helps expand the image of an inclusive human empire and squashes a lot of the “white power fantasy” arguments thrown at the community. He’s just an on surface easy to like cool dude, I think reliving into the character he portrays a lot of traits that we all appreciate or associate ourselves with.
Imagine the full power of Slaneesh forces coming against Commorragh and all eldar disgustedly helping the Drukari then the Khan and a few of his sons appear. After the first fast strike Fulgrim himself starts to lead the counter offensive and the Khan shows his new power, runs through a soul and uses it to teleport and return bringing back a few more of his sons and just like that he runs around Fulgrim killing bigger demons and using their souls to teleport more and more White Scars into the battle. The good thing is Slaneesh can be beaten and still get stronger than before the invasion strated given all the Drukari souls she would eat with his ever hungry mouth
"I heard from a contact on Mars, Jaghatai, that you do strange things to your ships." The Khan shot him a heavy-lidded stare. "I heard you do strange things to your warriors."
Absolutely love the white scars and the Khan. They had 2 amazing books in the Heresy and the Khan was an absolute badass in the siege of Terra just 1v1ing daemon mortarion. White Scars and the Khan ABSOLUTELY need more love and would be awesome to see him back
I agree. Thematically, Leman returning at the END TIMES makes the most sense. Not to mention his disappearance was due to him going on a quest to bring the Big E back. It logically follows that his return would herald the rebirth of the Emperor (if they ever decide to go with that story), so it makes no sense if the Emperor were to return a head of the other missing primarchs.
Jaghatai Khan is named after one of Genghis Khans sons named Chagatai Khan. Us Mongolians call him “Tsagaadai Haan” if that helps in any way of u pronouncing his name 😃
The khan is gonna sabbotage the gate of Khaine's defences to overrun Comoragh and use the commotion to get back to the palace through the broken webway crossing from the gate of Khaine to the webway connector in the palace making his way through the hordes of daemons.
Jaghatai Khan is the answer to the Abadadon crusades. Its time fo chaos to meet the barbarian horde. Second i think Russ and the Fenris always come back as an asnwer to the lunear wolves.
The Khan returning would be epic! He’s, so far, wildly unexplored as a character so anything that could shed some light would be awesome. Also, he’s an underrated powerhouse.
@MilkTankz Yeah also several Horus Heresy novels are focused on Jagahatai written by Chris Wraight lol. He's actually been one of the most explored loyalist Primarchs having many awesome moments during the Heresy and Siege of Terra.
I think we as fans know a lot more about jagatai than anyone in-universe knows about him. But your point still stands because the rest of the imperium learning what he’s all about would still be very satisfying to see
Both Robbie G and the Lion coming back served a purpose. Robbie stabilized the government of the Imperium and the Lion is perfectly suited to holding the line in the Imperium Nihilus. Corax and the Khan have the skillsets to effectively command the roving fire brigades that are so needed after the Plague Wars. I think Dorn will be after them, because who else but the defensive genius would serve to build a series of defensive rings that the enemies of man would break themselves on? Then Vulkan for the last minute Hail Mary that repairs the throne. And finally Russ come back with the means to restore the Emperor and act as his executioner again. To be clear, I think the Imperium will eventually be victorious over Chaos, at least temporarily (for a couple editions). Very few actually enjoy that faction and they're mostly a meme. The Tyranids are being built up as the next big bad anyways.
I doubt GW will give out all their heavy hitters in my lifetime. Also I doubt they will make it this easy and bright for Imperium. To give back another primarch you need to hit imperium hard enough as a compensation, on a scale of second warp rift, or death of a primarch. Or another martian schism.
@@Ewil.BluetoothBecause Primarchs are hope in human form. GW never wants to lose the grim derp. However, there is a way to have loyal Primarchs return without it seeming like the Imperium is winning. My guess would be that the Primarchs return to buy time for the Emperor to first be stopped from actual death, then to allow him to move around the Imperium again. That will happen when Russ returns, and the Emperor leads humanity in its last stand against Chaos. A final showdown where humanity either dies completely, or is elevated in some way that makes it possible for them to continue to exist while Chaos is weakened.
@@redaerf2b414 Who said anything about bright? We could have the real Tyranid invasion or the resurgence of the Rangdan. If you want real grim dark, have the Imperium genocide the Tau, that faction is well liked enough by most that it would upset people. However, with Chaos around they're in a rut. Chaos can never win anything major or it's the end of the Imperium, which leads to the writers with these false "oh no, whatever shall I do" from the Imperium. And note that I didn't say that Chaos should be gone forever, but that a Scouring: Electric Boogaloo would be good for the setting.
I think Jaghatai will likely have his arc be about personal development vs duty which would be a really cool exploration of his character, before he decides to help the Imperium in his own way. Sanguinius shut his eyes. Like that, he appeared drawn and tired, a funerary monument to himself. Dorn supressed a shudder. ‘My sight is not so clear as father’s’, said Sanguinius. ‘The Future is ever in flux. Only some events…’ He paused, finding the words hard to say. ‘Only some events are certain.’ ‘Do you see me? What will be the consequences of inaction?’ ‘I see fire, and blood, and a world laid waste if you do not act.’ ‘If I act?’ said the Khan. Sanguinius opened his eyes to look at him. ‘There is a grave risk to you. A confrontation unlooked for, and if you survive, a flight from one danger into greater peril.’ ‘Who will I face?’ ‘I cannot divine.’ ‘Will I save lives?’ Sanguinius nodded. ‘Many.’ ‘That is what I was made for,’ said the Khan. ‘I will ride out.’
Agreed or like accidentally releasing the Khan after burrowing thru his prison in the webway might b a cool idea 2 explain where he’s been. Maybe could add another layer of pressure on the Drukhari too! They would have to know he would come back for revenge! Maybe he is like amnesiac or something due to his imprisonment/torture/exile & has to regain his memories & whatnot… 🤔 a lil cliché I know but it’s a classic!😅 maybe u could also somehow tie in one of the other missing primarchs asp towards the end of story too 😗
I think less about who comes back. I think about what they will do. Who is their enemy? Who are they going to ally themselves with. Where will they go? If the Khan comes back, will Guillimann and Lion’el let him go off like he always does? Will that pit him against them if they don’t? Who will his target be?
The Khan could make Imperium Nihilus an absolute nightmare for the enemies of mankind lol, never knowing when or where a White Scars lightning strike will land and finding only blood, ruin, and tire tracks when someone arrives to reinforce, the ultimate hunting ground for the fastest predator around. CHARGE! RETREAT! REPEAT!
The Kahn fighting Fulgrim gets me excited because one of my favorite passages is where those 2 argue over who would win in a duel and Jaghatai just puts Fulgrim in his place
Im 100% convinced the laughing god had a hand in both the swapping of Fulgrim and the Khan's homeworlds as well as his current absence in the setting. Their stories are connected.
I feel like everyone says jagatai is the most underrated primarch, but he’s no one’s favorite. But he’s my favorite, and I think he’s also the primarch most likely to work with xenos if he saw it as the most pragmatic course of action. The day Jagatai comes back is the day I build a space Marine army, take notes James
I always find your videos and Luetins videos to be extremely well thought out and extremely knowledgeable about the lore of the 40k universe that I and so many others love. Keep the great videos coming! You've also got a great sense of humor, your true summary of the Horus Heresy was amazing!! 😂
Cegorach the Harlequin Laughing God swapped them. This is why the Emperor didn't at first expect Fulgrim to go traitor but Jaghatai instead. Because he foresaw primarchs scattered to certain world's going traitor. Fulgrim on Chogoris would have been interesting, I suspect a Chogoris Fulgrim would somehow end up being the son of the biggest city state, not of the plains tribes like Jaghatai.
The Khan has become my favorite primarch by far. Though the words of that shard of Magnus that was once said to the Khan fills me with so much dread... "Do you wish to know where you will die Kagen? In what dimension? On which world?... I'm still new to 40k but two things give me hope. 1. I don't remember a named world (thinking planet) in the webway. 2. Chaos corrupted beings are about the worst sources of correct info 🤷
The Khan will sabotage the defences around the gate of Khaine to overrun the city with daemons. He will then use the broken webway gate to enter the warp and find the lost fragments of Magnus's soul. When he is done he will reemerge making his way through the hordes of daemons that siege Terra and reemerge through the connector of the human webway in the golden palace.
Huh, hearing the possibilities for Jaghatai Kahn. I wouldn't be surprised if he feels & found freedom in the web way. And possibly a new mini galaxy that he is exploring & found peace in.
It could be cool if the Scars made it a mission of the chapter to begin mapping out the Webway. Apart from the Iron Warriors, and Magnus and his sons, I'd put the Scars up there as one of the best legions for that quest! They could make it so that the Scars naturally are particularly effective at 'rationalising' the madness of the Webway, in no small part due to their mystical culture. It also would be a really nice link back to the Pathway of Heaven book with them using that prototype Golden Throne!
Lemon Russ is next, not because of any lore, but because his Chapter is the only one left with its own unique model range but without a Primarch; one in desperate need of a refresh. White Scars, Salamanders, Imperial Fists, and Ravens do not have model ranges.
The Lion forrest walking to Terra as well as Jaghatai Khan opening a gate out of the Web way outside of Terra to meet Giulliman would be epic just befor Terra goes to battle
As someone who discovered 40k through the Henry Cavil announcement and I've since read about 30 of the novels, including a lot of the Horus Heresy (completed Siege of Terra)...Jhagatai Khan is hands down my favorite loyalist primarch. G-Man a close second. My favorite loyalist legion, on the other hand -- has to be the Blood Angels. Favorite traitor primarch is definitely Perturabo, and favorite traitor legion is the Word Bearers.
I've been a DA fan boy since the 90s. I do enjoy their lore, but I also love reading about all the other legions. This has been a great episode to listen to
I’d like to see Corax. Hes one of the least hyped Primarchs, but with Gman acting as the bureaucracy and The Lion acting as warmaster, having a “black ops” Primarch would be a good fit as far as complimentary skills.
I really enjoy these investigations, I feel like all the primarchs are gonna be in touch with their warp natures now and I'll be intrigued to see what the Khan has, I figure a Quickening sort of thing but we shall see. Lion getting forestwalk is already such a huge leap into which powers they have it could be anything tho.
I want Khan and Russ to come back but I think the best primarch to come back for the good of the setting and potential success of the Imperium is Dorn. Roboute can handle the administrative tasks, ruling and logistics. The Lion can handle the crusades and Dorn can build up a defensive network to hold what they have. Except the templars probably won’t stop crusading even for their primarch.
The coolest thing ever will be Leeman of the Russ being bestie with Lukas the Trikster and the two pranking the whole galaxy, starting with the Lion and Bobby G… lmao… juat imagine “ the art of provocation” but with the lion on the receiving end… hours and hours of laughter
This was an interesting examination. When you imagine the loyalists that *could* come back, the two we have are the most obvious, most believable, and most popular choices. The THIRD is really up for grabs as far as I can see. You raise some compelling arguments for why it could be the Khan. You could argue that Khan isn't popular enough, but they say that about my beloved Primarch, Perturabo, and I think it's crap. They just just don't have any models. New models go a VERY long way to becoming popular overnight. Build it and they will come. It worked wonders for space dwarfs, and it would work for White Scars twice as well. Personally, I like the Khan better than Russ and I think I'd rather see new Scars over new Space Wolves.
I love the Khan❤ I don't believe Sanguinius will return quickly, but my intuition suggests he might make a comeback in a manner reminiscent of Dracula, perhaps being reborn or regenerated via blood. 🤔
I am praying itll be the khan! My pretty much favorite primarchs are the lion, jaghatai, and corax! To get to read about at least 2 of them coming back would be so incredibly awesome to read. Im still holding out for corvus corax showing up too. Jaghatai is easily the most underrated primarch of all of them. He is an absolute beast of a swordsman and i have to believe he has learned more about his storm themed abilities. I just think his mental fortitude and integrity get forgotten about quite a lot because he is purposefully quiet. For me it seems like he is always, no matter what, focusing on soaking up every ounce of information there is
I think it would be cool if the Khan seizes a portion of the webway for humanity. It would be really cool if the White Scars become sort of humanity's protectors in the Webway, and if there was a safe passage betweem Imperium Sanctus and Nihilis.

my second favorite 40k channel and top 5 favorite youtube channel. Thank you Sandman of Terra for making good 40k videos. GJ
Of all the seige of Terra books I think Warhawk was just such a good book, really fleshed out the White Scars from me to fast speedy boys to diehard warriors who would rather rush into death free than die holed up.
Magnus's last words to the Khan when he says they will meet again are "sooner than you might think" which kinda supports that the Khan may be stuck in a time trap. It would make sense too, the only way to stop the fastest primarch is to stop speed itself.
I also think that we might end up getting many more books fleshing out the Great Crusade Era and exploring the Primarch's early relationships with one another in lead up to them being reintroduced in the 40k setting
I’m biased in favor of Rogal Dorn as an Imperial Fist and Black Templar fanboy. But I do think there are some really good story hooks for why Dorn should return. Obviously, there is his long running beef with old Perty and IW. There’s Dorn’s regret and anguish at believing he failed his father during the Heresy, along with the Khan placing the Emperor on the throne. But the really good story right out the gate is the friction he would have with Guilliman. Dorn and Guilliman were quite close until Guilliman broke the legions. While Dorn is very loyal, there could be some great stories as a returned Rogal Dorn sees the result of the breaking of the legions. More than that, Dorn, like the Khan, has obvious value to what the Imperium needs. The great fortification genius seems very beneficial right now. There’s the Cicatrix Maledictum and the fall of Cadia. There’s the growing power of Thraka and his Orks. There’s Necron tomb worlds being activated by a returned Silent King. And of course, there’s the Tyranids bearing down on the Imperium from all sides. Sounds to me like the Imperium must be fortified. Dorn could easily buy the Lion time to organize and start hitting back, and buy time for Guilliman to straighten out the teetering Imperial bureaucracy and supply lines. The Imperium needs Roga, Dorn. Of course, I want him back to see what he would have to say to Guilliman and especially Helbrecht.
The Khan and Corax are my favorites and i feel like they both have way more lore pointing at them returning of the loyalists than the others as long as its one of them im happy.
My personal opinion is that each Primarch that's returned serves a fundamental purpose, so the next would need to as well. So we have Girllyman taking care of politics we have the lion taking care of the warfront. What we need now is someone that can take care of making weapons and machines for the warfront and the Homefront. so my bet will be Vulcan. I'll probably be wrong but it makes the most sense to me
Just a thought, Khan is saved by the emperor's power right? What if khan comes back and he is carrying a small piece of the emperor's soul-what ever you want to call it and that starts the healing of the emperor? We all know the he knows all right? Again just a thought.
I am surprised that the Khan's relationship with the custodes wasn't brought up. When the phalanx was damaged the custodes broke out the special sauce to fix it. Rewards for the siege of terra. What kind of treatment will jagatai get? Will the custodes pit the primarchs against each other to neutralize the threat that each poses? Especially since the lion and roboute weren't at terra for the siege.
If/when Russ comes back I hope he's grown up and comes back as an Odin-like figure rather than the petulant child he was during the Heresy. Remember, this is the Primarch that did more damage to the Imperium than the bloody traitors could ever have done. With loyalists like Russ who needs enemies?
To that question about the emepoers recorded image. I think it was stated at some point that the inquisition washed many images and videos of the Emporer and locked away others. So gulliman has stated that just getting history from the period he was gone has been near impossible.
What if they are going to have Bjorn cross the rubric? That would be awesome to see him back and it would explain the delay for the wolves. Although, I would say that would mean that the legions would be reinstated. At least the “first founding” to balance the response to all the threats.
Having Jagatai come back as the third Primarch based on everything you said, makes perfect sense. I also think he will being some quality sorely needed in the Imperium. One of his biggest trait is that he is most likely Thee only remaining primarch alive that is able to live up to the Emperor vision of the Imperium. (That is upholding law and order above religious beliefs). The IRL Khan which Jagatai name is taken inspiration off - Chagatai Khan - was the second Son of Chinggis Khan, who was given the position to be the next in line after the great khan himself. And Chagatai was renowned for being a Just and highly competent ruler. Who imposed the Mongol non religious based Yassa law upon the growing Islamic laws which of the Islamic people under Mongol rule. (I.e seperating state from religion) If GW is taking any inspiration from our own history, then it makes sense for Jagatai Khan to return to help being order to the Imperium. And the combination of Guillimanthe ultimate statesman, Matured Lionel the ultimate military force and Jagatai the ultimate ruler/strategist would make thee most ideal Trio to bring the Imperium back in order and push back, and lay the fundations for even more primarchs to return. And I wouldnt be suprised if Jagatai has somehow found out hownto exploit the webway to his own advantages, mongols were renowned for their ability to adapt and utilize the knowledge of locals to fight the enemie in their own home territory. Who knows, he might have even started a mini empire within the webway, freeing worlds from the grasp the Drukhari and Chaos while hunting the Drukhari overlord.
I think how like immensely likeable and nuanced he became in the Horus Heresy like Khan needs to come back cause he's just such a wild card in the way it can go anyways. Whilst Russ he's a wild card but you can likely say it'll be a forceful fight in most situations
I feel like if the khan were to ‘abandon’ the imperium or go on some sort of quest or hunt in the webway, he would’ve gone it alone, or otherwise stopped his first brotherhood from following him into the webway portal. The way the passage in which he disappears makes it seem very much like an impulsive choice rather than a premeditated one. Or perhaps his desire to leave _was_ premeditated, and he simply saw an opportunity and took it. I don’t feel like that’s very like him to do so with others though. My new headcanon is that he absolutely is just adventuring and having a blast and smashing up stuff in the webway with a bunch of harlequins or something at his side.
A suprise but one that I think could be very interesting would be the return of Clone fulgrim. He has knowledge of the shame of his original self and views it as shame. What if he surrenders and wishes for a honorable execution by his brothers, but instead: Guilliman needs that extra help. And there just so happens to be a legion who doesn't have a primarch What if Clonegrim, instead of being executed, was ordered to watch and aid the Iron Hands. With the higher command having the right and permission to execute the clone at any time. A good redemption story that does sound like a spot that could hit some deep notes
I wager... (if I have any of this right) He's in the Webway right now. He's been learning as much as he can about it & the arts of the Aeldari for when the time comes that he must leave. He's got a working knowledge of the network & has finally found the way to Terra via what remains of The Emperor's Webway gate. In the moments The Emperor is about to die He grants passage to a bright soul he sense there. And before things start to fall apart, & the warp begins to pour into it, it's the Kahn who steps first out of the Webway. Along with his entourage of White Scars & Harlequins, he comes bearing a Soulstone fit for a human god. Upon the death of The Emperor his soul now has a place to reside while some miraculous scientific mastery is then deployed on his ravaged body. A small cadre will swift the body away through the Webway just before it utterly collapses & the daemons issue from its' frothy aetherial maw. The remaining escort, a legion of White Scars riding Aeldari jet bikes & Harlequins, doing what they do, stand with the Custodes to punish these daemons who are so eager to start the 'Second Siege of Terra' & extinguish mankind's greatest light. A swell of disappointment leaves the minds of those dying daemons & a lull of regret & hesitation occurs. The invasion ceases for a split moment. At this the visiting legion deploys something new never before seen on Terra. Custodes in the know take their gander with surprise; it looks awfully Vulkan-ish in it's aesthetic. A day of miracles truly. The specialists bearing the device begin it's transformation as Aeldari Psykers step out from the ranks in concert with White Scar Librarians & a spell is conjured. The device is a sealant used against warp breaches. Lined up behind the device they all summon their deepest will & commitment before the electro-aetherial beam begins doing it's job & weaving a knitting of reality across the exit point that only The Emperor himself was able to hold tight. Daemons dilacerated by an incomplete portal spew from the closing hole in pieces, if that was possible. Screams of anger, rage, and fear leak out in equal measure. In another moment the seal is breached, twelve Psykers find themselves unwhole, wilted, wavering & falling to their knees, a few die. Custodes surround the stage at the center of their charge, their once most important concern. A few stand in bewilderment & others turn to begin to ask questions the most important being, what to do about the sudden cessation of the Astronomicon? Just one extensive idea by an almost-noob fan.
Amazing video had so much lore about my favorite primarch that i had missed! I personally think that it would possible to khan to side with yellow king after we found out that the yellow king is valdor.
My money is on Jaghatai x Lady Malys. Hear me out. Jaghatai has had his fate manipulated by Cegorach since the beginning, when the laughing God switched Fulgrim and thr Khan's ships to crash on opposite worlds. Cegorach also lives in the webway, and could have been looking after Jaghatai since he entered the webway to hunt the dark eldar that raided Chogoris. Lady Malys is not just the second most powerful Archon in Commoragh, but she's also Cegorach's puppet. If the laughing God is looking after the Khan, then it's possible that Lady Malys could help Jaghatai if he's in Commoragh. Jaghatai x Lady Malys CONFIRMED Guiliman and the Khan would get along just fine.
We desperately need new bike models and units (maybe even grav bikes) - my last space marine army was a viable white scar biker army, that’s not really possible now. The Khan returning with new bike units (that could be used on other chapters too) would be huge!!
I do not know where I heard this, so this first part take with grain of salt. But from what I remember from an excerpt somewhere, the Webway portion where jaghatai is frozen. Like being in a block of ice. This happened when the portal closed. But the next part I feel like could lead to his return. Vashtorr and abaddon are currently drilling through the webway. I can totally see the khan stopping them. I think that would be amazing.
When discussing the Khan's relationships with primarchs I was surprised you didn't talk about Magnus and the Khan. They were close enough where the Khan was able to speak to a fragment of Magnus.
I love playing the White Scars, my favorite legion. They fit my play style with fast attack, fast and brutal, hit hard and move. Not for everyone, most people I have play them on youtube do not play well and basically break the personal theoretical rules for building an army. Granted I have been playing since first edition so have seen a lot of battle, far more that most people can imagine. I really like the White Scar lore and that they mostly fight xenos, I wish more people played the zeno races as I get tired of playing other space marine players all the time and most peeps around here play chaos which has some really over the top characters. That said; I have been immersed in the lore for a long time. The one thing I am not sure about is when the Khan went to chase the dark elf raiders that plundered Chagoris in the armies absence, well did anyone go with him, am not sure. It says he chased them; seems likely the Solar Hawks or Storm Reapers went with him as we never here anything of those successor chapters ( I blame Guilliman) and the main White Scar army went to defend and rebuild Chagoris. well, I hope so anyway. What we do know from the game is every codex seems more powerful in table play than the ones before it so coming back near last has some benefits except that you dont have any updated rules for a few years which sucks.
on his journey through the webway he had in a vision a glimpse of Gorlock the destroyer .... and instantly sprinted into the eye of terror tearing out his own eyes .
I can see that the next few releases for the Space Marines could possibly be dual Primarchs releases for the non-suppliment armies. Maybe the Khan and Vukan for example.
I know there are several lore issues with my idea and it will probably not happen. But I would love it if it was revealed that the Drukari had captured the Khan and GMan and the Lion found out and went to rescue him. I would like this simply because it would be fun to read that story because you know GMan and the Lion would go medieval on the Drukari to get their brother back.
With Vashtorr being introduced and Wyrmwood(Caliban) warping around the galaxy, we need as many Primarchs back as possible. Bring The Khan and Corax back. Russ and Vulkan can come too. The more the merrier because humanity is about to get wiped out of existence. It's been enough decades where we can bring more Primarchs back into the setting. Nobody will be butthurt for long.
I think Corvus Corax would probably be *The* last primarch to return since he's a warp demon, short of dante and the sanguinor doing a fusion dance to bring warp ghost sanguinis to being.
Interesting thought. Corvax separated his soul from his body. The body is locked in stasis in the raven spire. His ability to not be seen keeping him hidden from every chapter master of the raven guard. All who have been into corax private quarters has left shaken.
So when the lion came back the way that book ended it made it seem to me at least that the “key” was going to unlock something in the web way. The way vastor (not sure if that’s how you spell the mech demons name) described it tunneling through the warp I think the “vault” will be the way that the Khan comes back
I love the idea that the Khan pops out of a Webway portal, the remaining First Brotherhood still with him, their armor stained with Drukhari blood. They look a little bewildered, clearly not sure where they are at the moment, but this was to be expected. The webway is capricious like that. The Khan makes contact with his White Scars, eager to resume cleansing the Chogorian solar system of the Drukhari filth that has infested it, now that he's cleaned their Archon from the galaxy. And all you hear is "My sons, I am returned. What did I miss?" He chokes on surprise. "10,000 WHAT!?"
I have said its going to be Fulgrim, the Khan, then Vulkan. After that its Logar, Corax, Perturabo, and Dorn. Finally will be Sanguinius and Russ with the Emperor being healed.
I have a theory about the drukhari and that is that they have had their flesh crafters working away with a one of a kind specimen, a being of great power that hates humanity, a soul that is pleased by suffering and fear, a being that should never have been on their side and a being that "died" in a way that defied all kinds of future sight. I think there is a Primarch on the side of the Drukhari, named Konrad Curze and the flesh crafters are almost ready to let him loose.
He could be completely changed, more drukhari than man or something in-between, extra limbs and other flesh crafted parts, he could be that big centerpiece model that army needs that brings back another Primarch without aiding chaos necessarily.
It makes eminent sense to have Leman Russ return rather late in the sequence of returned Primarchs, because having one of the most popular Primarchs return early in the cycle would make the return of less popular Primarchs to be anti-climactic. Having him return later has the more desirable steady build-up of excitement with each subsequent Primarch return.
Isn't The Khan also massively more popular these days than just a a handful of years ago? I'm no expert, but it seems to me he was the primarch with the most improved fan opinion from the Horus Heresy series.
I'd say either him or Corvus Corax. Compared to the others, they have relatively little official lore but they are very interesting.
I'd love for him to come back. Russ sux. Magnus did nothing wrong.
It's ironically because of the profile of Mongolian culture in the last twenty years.
Fulgrim breaks into Commorragh: I HEAR YOU DO TERRIBLE THINGS TO SLAVES!!!
Lone voice from the shadows: I hear you do terrible things to your sons.
Jaghatai emerges with Lelith and Lady Malys as his concubines
I hear Rylanor did terrible things to you!
"I heard from a contact on Mars, Jaghatai, that you do strange things to your ships."
The Khan shot him a heavy-lidded stare. "I heard you do strange things to your warriors."
This is why I agree that Russ will be the last Primarch back "In the END I will return. For the FINAL battle. For the Wolf Time." emphasis added.
Us Mongolians call him
“Tsagaadai Haan” if that helps in any way of u pronouncing his name 😃
Not really...bungled the pronunciation and ended up summoning a demon of Tzeentch
@@derrickallen8138lmao hahaha
Genghis Khan is alive in 40k. He a human become a demon of Khorne. It would be cool if Jaghatai and Genghis will meet each other in the future
Best regards to heirs of Great Khan.
@@knighttemplaroftentacult7123I mean, there are quite a few heirs of Great Khan xD
There's 2 ways this can go; the Khan has become a space pirate, or the Khan is gonna get the Emperor's golden jetbike
But your point still stands because the rest of the imperium learning what he’s all about would still be very satisfying to see
him returning with like an entire large company with him, hunting down the tyranids would be AMAZING.
Dramatically. On the bridge of a Norn queen ship.
Khans like “I’m going out for smokes.”
Jetbiking off to get the milk
'Robbie G' 😂😂
I doubt GW will give out all their heavy hitters in my lifetime. Also I doubt they will make it this easy and bright for Imperium.
To give back another primarch you need to hit imperium hard enough as a compensation, on a scale of second warp rift, or death of a primarch. Or another martian schism.
@@redaerf2b414Why? The traitors live. Why can't the good ones?
‘Only some events are certain.’
‘Do you see me? What will be the consequences of inaction?’
‘I see fire, and blood, and a world laid waste if you do not act.’
‘If I act?’ said the Khan.
Sanguinius opened his eyes to look at him.
‘There is a grave risk to you. A confrontation unlooked for, and if you survive, a flight from one danger into greater peril.’
‘Who will I face?’
‘I cannot divine.’
‘Will I save lives?’
Sanguinius nodded. ‘Many.’
‘That is what I was made for,’ said the Khan. ‘I will ride out.’
With Vashtor currently burrowing through the web way after the Arks of Omen books, it would be cool to see the White scars dealing with that.
Agreed or like accidentally releasing the Khan after burrowing thru his prison in the webway might b a cool idea 2 explain where he’s been. Maybe could add another layer of pressure on the Drukhari too! They would have to know he would come back for revenge! Maybe he is like amnesiac or something due to his imprisonment/torture/exile & has to regain his memories & whatnot… 🤔 a lil cliché I know but it’s a classic!😅 maybe u could also somehow tie in one of the other missing primarchs asp towards the end of story too 😗
Maybe also this could be used to tie in with Vashtor n whatever it is he’s up to with that OP stuff he’s cobbled together.
As the biggest fangirl of Jaghatai and the White Scars, FUCK YES!!!!!!!
The Khan has to be one of the most universally liked primmarchs
Turns out Genghis Khan minus all the grape juice is a really cool guy.

I always find your videos and Luetins videos to be extremely well thought out and extremely knowledgeable about the lore of the 40k universe that I and so many others love. Keep the great videos coming! You've also got a great sense of humor, your true summary of the Horus Heresy was amazing!! 😂
Thanks very much! I try to plan out as much as possible
2. Chaos corrupted beings are about the worst sources of correct info
🤷
I would like a book where Khan is doing to Commorragh what Conrad Curze did on Nostramo, Hiding and getting them 1 by 1
The Khan will sabotage the defences around the gate of Khaine to overrun the city with daemons.
This pleases me. With Vashtor going in to the webway, I think for the dark throne, The Kahn will be next
The Wolftime book literally mentions the Lion and the Khan having being seen, which is why Space Wolves hope Leman will come back
As someone who discovered 40k through the Henry Cavil announcement and I've since read about 30 of the novels, including a lot of the Horus Heresy (completed Siege of Terra)...Jhagatai Khan is hands down my favorite loyalist primarch.
I love the Khan❤
I don't believe Sanguinius will return quickly, but my intuition suggests he might make a comeback in a manner reminiscent of Dracula, perhaps being reborn or regenerated via blood.
For me it seems like he is always, no matter what, focusing on soaking up every ounce of information there is
I'd like to see the Khan riding out of the webway at the head of his own faction of Drukhari.
I absolutely want a video on the primachs interacting with each other casually.
GJ
Thanks for watching!
Of all the seige of Terra books I think Warhawk was just such a good book, really fleshed out the White Scars from me to fast speedy boys to diehard warriors who would rather rush into death free than die holed up.
Plus if he gets a mini I can shout KHAAAAANNNNNNNN! everytime someone uses him.
Dont do that. Its annoying and cringe.
@@EdwardWB97 You're annoying and cringe. 😝

Glad to hear that! Hope youre keeping well
Magnus's last words to the Khan when he says they will meet again are "sooner than you might think" which kinda supports that the Khan may be stuck in a time trap.
It would make sense too, the only way to stop the fastest primarch is to stop speed itself.
I would love to have jaghatai Khan to add to my White Scar army
For now there's always 30K, where you can! Although there's long been rumours of the Khan on bike being released at some point.
A stream just on the primarchs being brothers would be great, the group talk with them in Scars was great to read
I'll probably be wrong but it makes the most sense to me
you are a great story teller fr
Even as someone that loves space wolves and Russ I'd much rather him come back to cap off the loyalist primarchs instead of showing in the middle.
(I.e seperating state from religion)
If GW is taking any inspiration from our own history, then it makes sense for Jagatai Khan to return to help being order to the Imperium.
And there just so happens to be a legion who doesn't have a primarch
What if Clonegrim, instead of being executed, was ordered to watch and aid the Iron Hands. With the higher command having the right and permission to execute the clone at any time. A good redemption story that does sound like a spot that could hit some deep notes
i DESPERATELY need jagatai to return, absolutely favorite primarch. I’d probably buy double of his model
I wager... (if I have any of this right)
He's in the Webway right now.
Dude totally has a wall in his basement with red string and pins to work out all this.
Onward to camorah and into the fighting pits for we seak the champion , the blur , the slaughter, the monster, The Khan .
Jaghatai x Lady Malys CONFIRMED
Guiliman and the Khan would get along just fine.
As a drukhari player, a fokus on drukhari for the coming edition would be really really cool
When discussing the Khan's relationships with primarchs I was surprised you didn't talk about Magnus and the Khan. They were close enough where the Khan was able to speak to a fragment of Magnus.
True! They were close
I always liked the idea of a perturabo and jaghatai fight. it seems like alot needs to be explained about both characters
Brother I would absolutely buy the Khan twice. And if he comes with a rad ass bike? 3 times.
Always a pleasure to listen.
I can see that the next few releases for the Space Marines could possibly be dual Primarchs releases for the non-suppliment armies. Maybe the Khan and Vukan for example.
It would be pretty cool if he comes back via the Terra webway portal, having cleared the other end.
I heard Slaanesh vs Drew Carrey and my high brain went all over
They will never find him. He has become one with the speedforce.
It's quite maddening. It will take 20 years before all are back GW style.
Boring!
Some good detective work. Well done, I see it in the cards
I think Corvus Corax would probably be *The* last primarch to return since he's a warp demon, short of dante and the sanguinor doing a fusion dance to bring warp ghost sanguinis to being.
This should actually be a thing
Interesting thought. Corvax separated his soul from his body. The body is locked in stasis in the raven spire. His ability to not be seen keeping him hidden from every chapter master of the raven guard. All who have been into corax private quarters has left shaken.
Either coming back would be epic, but I lean towards the return of Russ. The imperium needs the incarceration of the God Emperor’s holy wrath.
Love the idea of khan vs fulgrim the whole concept of complete opposites is so cool
IMO it's either gonna be the Khan, or Corax twinned with a Word Bearer focused Chaos refresh
I always considered him as finding the black livrary and its protector.
😮
That would be an interesting direction for the lord of murder
He could be completely changed, more drukhari than man or something in-between, extra limbs and other flesh crafted parts, he could be that big centerpiece model that army needs that brings back another Primarch without aiding chaos necessarily.
It makes eminent sense to have Leman Russ return rather late in the sequence of returned Primarchs, because having one of the most popular Primarchs return early in the cycle would make the return of less popular Primarchs to be anti-climactic. Having him return later has the more desirable steady build-up of excitement with each subsequent Primarch return.
Perturabo comes back fixes the golden throne and says "your my papa"
I hold hope for Sanguinius. Maybe the King in Yellow is working on that but yes, awesome video😁
